Deep Pocket Mould Hardness tester demo

This video shows how Mould hardness can be checked on the wall of a deep pocket in a mould. Essentially the vertical wall of a casting has lower strength and more prone to defects.
This tester can go in small cavities to measure hardness.
Typically for moulding machines which use blowing as means to filling green sand in to mould boxes. This equipment can gauge mould hardness in shadow areas to estimate venting locations.
