Thanks so much. Loved that you didn't go too in depth for each variation, but covered the main concepts like the critical f4 square with explanation. That was very appreciated.
I simply love the way how you explained the critical middle game plans along with explaining the theory of the moves. Most of the chess youtubers solely tell you just bunch of theories, which lacks in details of how you should find your way throughout the middle game. Your explanation of common positions and key ideas in the opening is just spectacular. You earned a sub!
You know your stuff! very impressed. i will try this. But I have a feeling the kind of guys I play will probably be playing Queen b6, and maybe even c6, but I can investigate that my self
Thank you! Indeed yeah there are many other variations to consider, and at different levels players might play different things. On lichess, there should be a feature to see what the most common replies are for each rating, so maybe use that?
I was literally saying to myself shit I gotta learn some stuff against the fucking french and this video shows off on my notifactions what are the odds
3 months late but since Qb6 puts pressure on white’s d4 and b2 pawns, white can sufficiently defend the d4 pawn with both knights by going Ndf3 (from d2) with the other knight being on e2, and the b2 pawn is still defended by the c1 bishop because it never had the chance to move

Great to hear, thank you :)

Thank you, I am so glad you enjoyed the video. I do try my best to explain why, not just what!
I have no idea why you are getting so low amount of views altough the quality of your videos is excelent. Keep up the hard work!
It must be the thumbnail game. More CAPS in title and eye catching thumbnails thats how gotham made it. Yeah the content is good.
I was meeting the french with Nc3 but wasn't satisfied with the middle games i got, this seems way more fun
Yeah, usually best to keep c3 as an option!
good job....been looking for something like this for the tarrasch for a long time
Thank you, very helpful
My pleasure
You are very very good , pal .Indeed .
Glad to hear that!

thx so much i used to play nc3 but the positions were too crazy
my pleasure :)
I still play 3.Nc3 but the Rubinstein example surprisingly helped. Tarrasch is easier to learn though
Thanks this will help me a lot❤❤❤❤
Very helpful
Just mind-blowing explanation ❤❤❤❤

Awesome content, man, well explained, thanks a bunch

I assume this young fellow is an IM or a GM. He's really excellent.
I wish. Not the case (at least not yet :)). Just an ambitious and enthusiastic player. Thank you for the kind words.
You're welcome!@@ChessGeek1
I was literally saying to myself shit I gotta learn some stuff against the fucking french and this video shows off on my notifactions what are the odds
Its a true miracle :) Hope you like my recommendations
@@ChessGeek1 Love em!
excellent video bro!
in the steinitz variation if they don't play f6 but Qb6 what are we supposed to do please ?
3 months late but since Qb6 puts pressure on white’s d4 and b2 pawns, white can sufficiently defend the d4 pawn with both knights by going Ndf3 (from d2) with the other knight being on e2, and the b2 pawn is still defended by the c1 bishop because it never had the chance to move
Thank you for doing this . I hate french defense , they always get my D4 pawn and I never recover. Now i have a weapon💪🏻
My pleasure. Yeah, the Tarrasch is a great weapon!!
Ditto to the entire comments section- GREAT VIDEO!
Thank you :) Glad to hear it
How about 3...Nc6 Guimard Variation?
Interesting move. I would think usually black tries for c5 before Nc6
on 3..nf6 i like 4.e5 and nd7 5.f4 v strong ideea i beat a lot of strong players with it ,why not study 5.f4!!
Alien Gambit Bonjour variation 👽
