wow. never knew durian had this complexity to them. thank you for showing us. im not a big fan of durian taste but i do love the smell whenever i pass by a fruit stall in asia, mb next time i will find the right durian for me :)
only thai favor crispy durian/ young. other south east asia country, they love the ripe durian like the picture you show (10:28). that is the perfect durian, inside super creamy with firm outer membrane (not watery), maximum pungentness 😆😆
I tried durian once, I didn't dislike it but maybe some other type is better. Will give it another chance when I get the opportunity to try it again. Hope your next vlog is about sweet juicy mangosteens. The best fruit in universe!
@@opalstoryofficial Did you try at Simummuang Market? Maybe you can make a video about that market. It's huge and it has everything but i don't know if they sell the fruits in smaller quantities to tourists.
I love durian in any form: frsh, mooncake or ice cream.Last year mywife and me spent a small fortune on Durian in Chinatown- worth every single Baht. Unfortunately you can't find the good quality in Europe.😥
Thank you for sharing this video very helpful. I'll be in Bangkok by the end of this month and I'm gonna eat Durian too! I love durian. Can you please share the address of this Durian store, I want to visit this place. Thank you.
Been watching your videos for awhile now and I’m so happy for this content. Gonna travel to Bangkok next month and i cant wait to eat lots of durian. Would appreciate a lot if u can drop the address of the durian shop.
I have come to Thailand a few times and I just tried durian for the first time. I also think it tastes like onions... kind of like onion and vegetable texture. I ate some when I bought it and it had no smell. Then I waited until morning and by then, it had some smell. I continued eating a bit but then it was too gross to continue so I had to throw it out. The taste was not nice. Maybe in the future I will try different types of durian and hopefully it will taste better. :)
Thai durians breed is not as pungent as durians from Malaysia. Tried a bit of thai durian, is harder than Malaysian durians and the aftertaste is not as bad as soft/ripe Malaysian durians. To reduce the heaty after effects of eating the durian, we drink water with salt.

Durian is the only fruit which taste different induvidually even from the same tree.

Mangosteen in Vietnam we also called Mangkoot, which is very similar to Thai from your video.
