Proud owner of this scooter since September 2020..wonderful scooter..no complaints yet..mind boggling performance..and most importantly an eye catcher too💖👍❤️
A comprehensive and informative review. Wish TVS works on range and makes it 100+ and gradually to 150+ kilometres for charge. Of course, it takes time to reach there.
Ola is planning to revolutionise EV 2 wheeler , by mass producing ,260kms range , Ola exclusive hyper charging station everywhere .BTW anticipating its arrival eagerly and eventually expecting a revolution in cars too
What about charging time, insurance costs and battery replacement costs ?, that also should have been added in the video, Thanks for Autocar for bringing this review
biggest reason for worry among potential electric vehicle buyers, is firstly the inevitable and eventual battery replacement. there are no two ways about it, all Li-on batteries wear post a certain number of discharge cycles, after that, the range of the vehicle will be impacted severely and in increasing order after every charge.
Good detailed review ! It could be even more precise where we would know how less we are polluting environment by driving EV's just like cost saving figure and data . Because EV 's are about saving our future resources for future generations and also cost saving .
I wish more people buy 2 wheelers from TVS, Hero, Bajaj and other Indian brands rather than Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha etc especially in scooter segment. I own a TVS Jupiter, it's as good as Activa or Access, all of them have some shortcoming in some areas and are better than other in some, but overall there's almost nothing separating them. TVS has improved a lot in the past decade and is on par if not better than it's Int'l peers. TVS iQube looks good overall, hope it becomes a leader in the EVs.
I wish this was available in my town man, I would be buying it tomorrow. TVS really need make this scooter available in many more cities quickly. 20 cities till next march isn't fast enough according to me. Just an opinion.
3 years 50k km warranty whichever comes first. Dont you think 3 years is so early for a big expenditure. TVS has to reveal the replacement battery price too
after the previous video featuring Shapur, I was really expecting to see a behind-the-scenes for this one as well. that's alright. nice video though.. also, great effort by TVS. they really played it safe by not opting to make radical designs.
If ur someone who has a daily running of under 50 kms , a electric scooter or motorcycle makes more sense , i wish to see a day where people stop buying petrol scooters n bikes for small distance and we are a carbon neutral country by 2030 🙏🏻
Try covering the 450+ not the x(u already have the x's review) and the the Bajaj chethak, the pure ev duo, super soco 400 , benling aura and just let us know the efficiency figures u extract out of them,it is a really really nice step from u guys!!
Got a question, what if we put extra load to deliver goods from point A to point B, does it effect the average and the battery consumption qnd most importantly the speed of the scooter?
Why so many electric scooters? And not many options for electric cars. Just one good affordable EV car is Nexon. Auto Companies should think of EV cars as it's the most booming market. Good work Auto car india for covering it. 👍🏻👍🏻
Please factor in the battery replacement cost after 4-5 years since one would use this product for at least 10 years. Later compare resale value for both after 10 years. Battery will degrade and you won’t get any resale value on the u cube. Doesn’t make a strong case to me.
Range should be atleast 100kms, need this scooter in all tvs showrooms(like tata nexon evs), price should not be increased, need a plan for battery replacement cost
Most of the savings goes done the drain once you factor into battery replacement every 4 yr(40000 rs) 🐱.So,your savings is only around 20-30 k and the resale value is less.
Hi Varun. It's only available in Bengaluru, Delhi, Coimbatore and Chennai as of now. While we aren't sure about Visakhapatnam, what we do know is that TVS plans to enter 20 cities by March 2022.
Purchasing TVS EV Iqube in 2022 make sense, because you get subsidy benefits & after 3 years (2025), New Battery charges also more afortable compare to 2021.
Props to the autocar team for putting up the cost comparison
Finally a proper review
Thank you!
Proud owner of this scooter since September 2020..wonderful scooter..no complaints yet..mind boggling performance..and most importantly an eye catcher too💖👍❤️
Charging time..?
what will be the cost of replacing the battery and how many years till it needs to be replaced?
Hey! TVS hasn't revealed the cost of replacing the battery. It has a warranty of 3 years or 50,000km, whichever is earlier.
I guess it's too early to comment on the lifespan of battery and replacement costs in EV's
75 thousand se to kam hi hoga 😆😆 sochne wali baat hai
Running cost is what makes Sense to buy a city scooter....
38000rs after 65000kms or 5 years
Now am doing masters in "electrical vehicle technology" in "iit indore"
So ?
A comprehensive and informative review. Wish TVS works on range and makes it 100+ and gradually to 150+ kilometres for charge. Of course, it takes time to reach there.
At last TVS is the vehicle review with utmost satisfaction. Hope it reaches the showroom!!
Is the home charger and its installation inclusive of this price?
Yeah
Would love to see an cost analysis of 450X too.
Ola is planning to revolutionise EV 2 wheeler , by mass producing ,260kms range , Ola exclusive hyper charging station everywhere .BTW anticipating its arrival eagerly and eventually expecting a revolution in cars too
Simply clear & good explanation 👍
Thank you! 😊
Your explanation is super bro.I got full clarity about this bike.
Good mathematics calculation... Just a suggestion Plz do consider battery depreciation value in it to get the actual savings.
What about charging time, insurance costs and battery replacement costs ?, that also should have been added in the video, Thanks for Autocar for bringing this review
Great review and analysis!
Thank you for this review... Much awaited 🙌🏻

Really well made video.
Very good analysis. Well done Feroze!
Thank you so much! 😊
Having jupiter and ntorq ...Next will be this for sure..Good job @autocar

Eagerly waiting to see comparisons between
Aether 450x | TVS iQube | bajaj Chetak
and of course real time range and charging times...!!
Thank you.
Very nicely explained!😃
Thank you Rishabh!
In my city i can easily manage with 48 kmph or 50kmph.... In city u rarely drive above 60 in traffic
Thanks for the update
What would be the expected cost of batteries after completing of its 50000km???
Well explained. Felt like mba fin class. Expecting more variety content like this autocar👍
Good review 👍
Liked the last EV and petrol comparison 👍🏻
Which company's battery does it use?
I like the calculations👍
please do the same video with calculation for Revolt RV400
after the previous video featuring Shapur, I was really expecting to see a behind-the-scenes for this one as well. that's alright. nice video though.. also, great effort by TVS. they really played it safe by not opting to make radical designs.
Autocar India loving the way u guys are covering EVs I really appreciate it!!
But when it's easily available in entire india ?
You forgot to detail the charge time and charger availability
Lovely analytical review. Nice
Thank you 😊

What about charging options ?
I stay on 1st floor. Would it be difficult to charge the battery? Plug is not available on ground floor.
Try covering the 450+ not the x(u already have the x's review) and the the Bajaj chethak, the pure ev duo, super soco 400 , benling aura and just let us know the efficiency figures u extract out of them,it is a really really nice step from u guys!!
By the time we cover 50,000 kms, we might need a battery replacement
Got a question, what if we put extra load to deliver goods from point A to point B, does it effect the average and the battery consumption qnd most importantly the speed of the scooter?
Really loved the review.
BEP statistics was cool 👍🏻🤗
Please do a same type of comparison between petrol cars and battery cars.
Battery replacement cost after 50000km would negate the savings and the limited range
Is it coming to goa soon
Brilliant real world Petrol vs EV comparison!
Thanks Parth!
**TVS** T Trust V Victory S Sucessfull Brand House hold of Southern India 👍👍
How much does battery replacement cost
TVS has done a good job 👍👍🎉🎉
Kindly do the same type of review with bajaj electric scooter.
Very good review
Thank you Parth!
Please provide details about batteries, portability and charging options etc.
Can you guys please do a review as such on the ATHER 450X 🙏🙏🙏🙄🙄🙄
Promising scooter.... Hope it will be in Pune soon.
osm big brother firoz bhai ❤️
What are the connectivity subscription charges for TVS iQube?
Around 900rs per year
Why so many electric scooters? And not many options for electric cars. Just one good affordable EV car is Nexon. Auto Companies should think of EV cars as it's the most booming market. Good work Auto car india for covering it. 👍🏻👍🏻
Can you show us a comparison video of all the elrctric scooters above 1 lakh price point?
Nice review
How much does it approxiamately cost to replace the i-Qube's battery?
My only concern is regarding hub motor. Is it better than the belt one? Please guide
Can we attached another battery, how much place under the seat
Plz make a comparison video of iQube vs Cheetak
The design and looks are great. My family also like it.
Good calculation bro
When is ntorq electric expected

Battery replacement cost? battery costs 30-35 thousand I've heard. And also the resale value? You guys should explain that too.
Range should be atleast 100kms, need this scooter in all tvs showrooms(like tata nexon evs), price should not be increased, need a plan for battery replacement cost
I will wait until , market gets a 200+ range scooters . Most electric scooters are at their adolescent age , would wait for them to mature .
Sir stand by battery kitni drain hoti hai
Main question is what is the selling price when we want to sell it after 4-5 years one can easily get 40-50k for Jupiter but how much we get for iqube
Same
Ather is in multiple cities now. I don’t understand why big companies like tvs & Bajaj are still not able to expand beyond 2 or 3 cities !
Is it available in Chennai?
Yes it is.
What's the range for the full charged battery
Most of the savings goes done the drain once you factor into battery replacement every 4 yr(40000 rs) 🐱.So,your savings is only around 20-30 k and the resale value is less.
Pls review Okinawa i-Praise
most important is the price of batteries price and cost comparison
Please review Epluto7g
Waiting for Activa ev/ Hero mestro ev or Jupiter ev version.
I feel TVS should have made a Jupiter EV instead of iCube...
Actually this is the kinda Jupiter EV version but a little boxy
@@SamarthPatil2120 i cube is based on jupiter itself
What about maintanence cost
What battery chemistry is used in TVS iQube 2022 ? LFP OR NMC
Make video on new 2022 version
What is battery cost
What about the availability?...Can we buy it here in Visakhapatnam??
Hi Varun. It's only available in Bengaluru, Delhi, Coimbatore and Chennai as of now. While we aren't sure about Visakhapatnam, what we do know is that TVS plans to enter 20 cities by March 2022.
Please do review video on Epluto7G
Which has more Range than TVS Iqube, available in all states, Providing Good service.
Removable battery?
Is there similar calculation for electric cars ?
Break even point... Oh my god... Economics class school days memories 😅
Mileage?
Update about ola electric
Gujrat is also subsidise 20k per vehicle but no available and not sure about when u will get it 🤭
What about the replacement cost of battery packs you should have taken that cost in your calculations to arrive at a fair price.
Purchasing TVS EV Iqube in 2022 make sense, because you get subsidy benefits & after 3 years (2025), New Battery charges also more afortable compare to 2021.
