Not to mention bron is aiming for these STATS . Mj just played and did what it took to win and he did that . Also I’m glad Charles said STAT cuz that’s all that is . They keep tryna make up shit for bron “ he broke the record for most points after a back to back on a Tues during leap year “ that’s not a record it’s a STAT

More talent in the NBA so players like LBJ don't have to average 29 a game. It's a team sport, LBJ utilizes that the best.

@@ajespn1 An ignorant statement. No D. It's easier to score. 3's and 3 pointers. No midrange game. No quality Big men. Jordan would average 50 today..plus. Lbj is not clutch, cant shoot freethrows, can't score consistently from more than 5 feet, doesn't play D, only played all 82 games once, flops. He's no MJ, or Kobe..

My Grandpa bought seats RIGHT behind the bench in...I believe '93. I got to see Shaq and MJ.
Shaq...well, I was like 7 and everyone looked huge, but he looked freakish. But I was just in awe of MJ. Just a Milwaukee Bucks game vs the Bulls and Magic. The Bucks weren't any good by then. They started their dark era(they were among the best teams in the 80s, always losing in the ECFs or ECSF to Philly, Boston in 7, the Pistons.
Anyway, by now, they sucked. But MJ just went so hard the whole game. Defense, attacking, never stopped.

I'm from the Jordan Era but I'm an unbiased b-ball fan and in an effort to not get in the goat debate, I would dare to say that this stat caters to and highlights Michael Jordan style of play as an Offensive Assassin. Nevertheless if (and I'm emphasizing "IF")...
If LeBron was an assassin like Jordan was with the "shoot 1st, score 1st" MENTALITY,, he would have surpassed MJ "IN THIS PARTICULAR STAT" but LeBron, not being an assassin, plays the role of a floor captain which has a mental aspect of his game that focuses on teammate involvement and directing team play on both sides of the ball.
So to be fair, this PARTICULAR Stat is biased towards MJ'S style of play.
Inasmuch, WILT was the GOAT, KAREEM was the GOAT, MAJIC was the GOAT, JORDAN was the GOAT, SHAQ was the GOAT,& NOW LEBRON is the GOAT.
Each Of these players achieved Goat status, in part do to the knowledge of the game they received from their predecessors.

Jordan was a SCORE/SHOOT FIRST 2-guard. He won 7 back-to-back scoring titles for a reason and came back and won 3 more back-to-back. He was the #1 GO-TO OPTION on his team. LeBron was basically a PASS-FIRST SF for the first 7 years of his career. if he PUT HIS HEAD DOWN AND DROVE as often as MJ took a midrange shot, he would've eclipsed everyone on every All-time scoring list. He been trying to elevate so many of his teammates who are just 🚮😂

Lebron has a higher FG% and 3pt% than MJ meaning if LeBron shot the ball anywhere near as many times as MJ shot it on a nightly basis he would have crushed that record too and would have done it in less games than MJ. I thought scoring was Jordan’s thing. The math isn’t mathing. Jordan isnt even qualified to hold LeBron’s jock strap let alone think he is still competing with him. You Jordan simps are just mad because more people see Lebron as the GOAT now than Jordan. In nearly every metric Lebron is better. Sucks to suck I guess.
