The interviewer doesn't understand that fight choreography doesn't mean its violent, its more like a dance or ballet of movement. Its action not violence. Violence is when people die of horrible deaths.
I just realised (as an Australian) halfway through the vid that the interviewer is Australian, from his accent. I didn't bother to read the description
We love Jackie so much we started our new film review show with Operation Condor! We breakdown all our top moments from our top Jackie movie and share facts about his legendary man himself. Check out our channel for more! Go Jackie!
They say a "cat has 9 lives".....how many does Jackie Chan have? So many accidentss that should have killed him or handicapped him forever.....over a span of I think 50 years. Yet to this day he does interviews and is walks on his own two feet. Does he have injuries we can't see that affect his life in some way? Maybe. But he's able to enjoy his massive fortune. The incident incident with the JP girl who committed suicide because Chan had a GF....is definitely sad but beyond his control clearly. Chan has to live his life and had no link to that JP girl. There will always be "confused fans" out there with a few screws loose. Just how the world is. People that should be talking to a doctor...a srhink....but never do for whatever the reason. So things like that happen. The question "do you have a death wish"....no one's had the guts to ask him but worth asking. We've all thought it. Why any movie star would risk their lives to do a stunt they are not trained to do. Even trained PRO stuntmen get hurt so if they do.....Oddly these stars that do their down stunts all get hurt but live and are not handicapped for life. Amazingly e.g. Stallone, Tom Cruise, etc. Takes only one accident to forever change any one's life. For us we can't understand why they do their own stunts just to make their movies when there are others willing/trained... HK stuntmen---I think they have a death wish. They pick a job to work in HK film. KNowing full well how low budget they are and "primitive". How they like to "wing it" with no real planning e.g. to the extent Hollywood stunts are planned and done. Why do these guys do stunts that ould end their careers and lives?? It's not about having a "death wish" . Something we can see in their interviews. Oddly they all do it because they feel they need to to sell that scene in the movie. A kind of confused thinking. That's worked for them yet could still have been done by a stuntman and more safely....and still have a successful film IMHO.
i love how passionate he tries to describe his thought process of planning his scene.
This was shown in Australia's 60 Minutes in the 1989..i remembered..lol I also got this taped on the video from tv..i still got it on the tape too..
No violence he means no brutality.....he never show lot of blood

The interviewer is a dickhead on purpose. Wayne Gayle style.
This is 80’s not 90’s because they were filming Police Story 2
Oh God! Girls are royal fan..but, they should see him as a actor only not their own boyfriend....Every life is precious....
