    I love your blogs. My 8yr old granddaughter loves you also. She lives seeing the kiddos, that dress like she does. You asked what secrets I use in laundry, add vinegar to the rinse cycle. It brightens up all the clothes and removes any soapy residue.

    Hi Sonya. When I cook corn on the cob, I bring the salted water to a boil, pop the cobs in, make sure they are pretty much immersed and then boil for 5 min. Take them out and they are ready. I think 20 minutes is too long , but it is to your preference. I love your videos. They are so inviting.

    another hint for the eggs is before you start boiling. if you gently tap on a hard surface the bottom rounded part of the egg until you hear a loud cracking noise (it sounds like the egg is cracking) but its just the membrane inside the egg then boil them until cooked i was dubious at first but was amazed that it works.

  • @Bridge11e
    @Bridge11e 11 місяців тому

    We keep the eggs from cracking by piercing them on the bottom, that way the air bubble inside can expand and the egg won’t crack. There’s a tool for that or one can use a needle.

      No bake, that’s right. You can add nuts, chocolate or dried fruit

    I love love following your channel and videos. Is it possible to keep your water urn in a safer spot? The corner spot where you have it doesn't seem ideal.

    Wondering if your corn ends up tough and chewy when you cook it that way. I suggest bringing the water to a boil, THEN add the corn and cook for around 8 minutes.
