Watch this before buying a wireless Freezer Thermometer!

- Installing a wired Freezer/Refrigerator thermometer and avoiding the leaks when installed like the instructions.
Why go old school when you can just install a wireless thermometer?
It depends on why you're installing one...wireless thermometers can be handy, but they don't always work that well and more importantly a Wi-Fi thermometer doesn't work at all when you're power is out!!
We were able to get this freezer free and it works great. When this was filmed we were testing it out and it had not been cleaned yet.
If you do this, make sure you refrigerator or freezer doesn't have anything in the door (or where ever you are thinking about drilling a hole) that could be damaged. If you are going to drill a hole in your refrigerator or freezer, you do so at your own risk.

This is a great way to really know where your frozen food is at during a power outage. A lot more accurate than the coin/cup of water method, makes me way more confident in knowing the food is safe to eat!
