Magnificent photos, sir!
While I love being in nature, I was finding it difficult to create great compositions after few years of doing photography. I gravitated towards street/architecture photography as they have a lot more compositional elements. And it wasn't it then I got my friend's telephoto lens that I realised that this was going to be my style.
Over the years, I've shot with a similar philosophy, appreciated other's photos without exactly knowing why (beyond the rules of composition) and discussed about the things you talked about. But I couldn't put it in words the way you have.
I think I have finally found a Role model.
