I was sweating briefly with the Yokohama in the thumbnail. Glad to hear it was a preference for the new production. I think I will want to pick up the wooden token deluxe pack after another few plays for ease of use. Seeing you cull Netrunner felt somewhat tragicomic since I have been trying to track games down for a while here in Australia.
Lords of waterfeep is so streamlined i doubt we will ever get rid of it. Plays quickly. Sits next to other worker placment games like great wall, champions of midguard, andromeda's edge, carverna, ect.
Imperium is probably my favorite two player game. Once you get past the initial learning curve it is amazing (though a full length board game, not a shorter two player filler).
Yeah, we have kept a few games for nostalgic purposes, but I will not miss them being there, so it's completely fine to let them go to someone who will hopefully play them!
@BoardGamingRamblings It's a healthy thing to do. We forget but, a lot of the time, it is not only physical space these games are taking. It's also mental space
Exploding kittens i really enjoy manily because when you defuse a bomb you get to place it back ANYWHERE that little bit makes the game. Theres so many expansions you can really customize your play deck a lot.
I also culled Alien Frontiers, Codenames, 7th Continent, and Gloomhaven. Hooray for getting rid of Lords of Waterdeep. I've always hated it. Mandatory quests are an abomination. I really like the aesthetic of Yokohama. Will probably never get rid of my original version. Same with Iki. I want Saltfjord so I can get rid of Santa Maria. It looks really good.
It is great! I really enjoy it! With that said, we’re never going to choose to play it, as we’re mostly playing new games for the channel, or replaying our favorite games! Luckily, Isle of Sky is a pretty common game, so if we ever get a desire to play, it shouldn’t be a big problem to find a copy :)
I don’t know if I already sold it, and I don’t really try to make a lot of money from selling games, but I’ll take a look. Mostly I want the games to be used :)
@@TabletopFamily I have the base game and didn’t want to buy any of the other packs thinking that a big box will come out for the last eight years and so far nothing. 😳
@greginfla_1 you mean like some sort of 3rd edition? Maybe a revival. I guess a company did that with blue moon legends but do we ever see big box's of living card games? Or after they end it?
To give Splendor Duel a chance to survive: did you know there is an excellent solo mode a BGG user posted? 😉 Everything else I either never owned or also have culled 😂
I get what you are saying, but your reason would not be a reason for me to keep it. We also cull our collection regularly, and our reasoning is the same: if we haven’t played it in two years, it goes.
@@jankogo We have so many of his fantastic designs on the shelf, and for a long time we kept them all. Because of space, we cannot, and have to choose :)
Sunniva’s smile when Johannes finally agrees to cull a game - priceless
I do my best!

Yeah, Yokohama is great! (Most of these are also great, but yeah…too many games, too few shelves :p)
Mee to! 😅
1:40 "Stop rambling"? Where do you think you are, Board Gaming Concise Summarizations?
Hahahahaha :P
Lords of waterfeep is so streamlined i doubt we will ever get rid of it. Plays quickly. Sits next to other worker placment games like great wall, champions of midguard, andromeda's edge, carverna, ect.
I agree, but we never choose to play it, so it’s better that someone else get’s to enjoy it! :)
Yeah Lords of W is my go to intro of worker placement fun (Agricola being a bit less fun)
Imperium is probably my favorite two player game. Once you get past the initial learning curve it is amazing (though a full length board game, not a shorter two player filler).
Good to hear! Might want to check out the new verrsion some time, but we'll see! :)
agreed with all of these EXCEPT avenue, isle of skye and notre dame. those hurt!
Yeah, I agree! All of them are great, but there are just too many great games :(
Shouldn't you be in the bathhouse with Eric Lang?
"If you were looking for great insights...". 😂😂😂
Haha :P Hope you enjoyed it!
Hah interesting. I've actually culled a lot of the same titles from my collection. Empyreal, 7th C, Isle of Skye
Too many games, so little time!
Sacrilege!! Culling Lords of Waterdeep
I feel like more than a purge of games, this video was a purge of sentiments of nostalgia xD
Yeah, we have kept a few games for nostalgic purposes, but I will not miss them being there, so it's completely fine to let them go to someone who will hopefully play them!

That’s like 1/3 -1/2 of my collection. Way to go u2!!
Thank you :D

I really liked my experience with it, but it’s not one I will choose to play!
Nooo...
_Finca_
_Isle of Skye_
_Notre Dame_
"Awkward Guests 2" only just arrived, so I don't yet know.
A nice speedy variation: Boom Cull!
Awkward Guests 2 is great, but we'll rather play the multiplayer!
And yeah, hard choices!
imperium!:You good play it both solo and together at the same table, at the same time(I would watch THAT!)
Happy to hear you're enjoying it!
I’m curious which game or games you use to introduce the worker placement mechanic in place of Lords of Waterdeep???
Thank you! NIce comments on this "Cull" games!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
That’s not a cull, but a purge ☺️
Time for a bigger house! Move to the states! Be my neighbors!
Alien Frontiers? Oh no!
I’ve had fun with it, but haven’t been played in years!
I already have Saltfjord but Santa Maria will never leave my collection.
Hope you'll like Saltfjord as well!
Thank you!
Have you ever tried Middara?
Yes, it's on the shelf! We played the first part of the game!
@BoardGamingRamblings No review? :)
I also culled Alien Frontiers, Codenames, 7th Continent, and Gloomhaven.

Do you guys sell these or?
We mostly sell games very cheap at local conventions :)
What do you do with the games you cull? Donate them? Sell them?
We do mostly sell them very cheap at local conventions!
Oh no! You made me eat my phone!
Oh no! Hope you had more phones! :D
What do you do with your culled games? Do you give them away or sell them? And if you sell them, how/where?
We mostly sell them very cheap at local conventions :)
@ Ah, that is smart. We don’t have many of those here unfortunately.
4:47 When you tell your siblings or friends to put the game away. 🤣
Also at 6:37.
And 8:15!?🤯
Haha :P
@ Love your content! This video made me subscribe. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much! Hope you’ll find lots of videos you’ll enjoy :)
Maybe I never noticed this before but Johannes do you play disc golf at all? :D
Yes, I do play quite a bit, but it's been slower lately!
I'm confused, are you culling Saltfjord? :P
Yes! :P
Isle of Sky is so great, you’re going to regret that decision.
It is great! I really enjoy it!

I’ve been trying to figure out if I want to get 7th Citadel. I culled 7th Continent 2 years ago.
We really enjoyed the campaign we played of 7Th Citadel :D
Netrunner sells really good on ebay.
I don’t know if I already sold it, and I don’t really try to make a lot of money from selling games, but I’ll take a look. Mostly I want the games to be used :)
why don't they offer a big box set with Netrunner? I keep waiting
@@greginfla_1 it's out of print completely. It's discontinued for a while now. So a big box will never happen
@@TabletopFamily I have the base game and didn’t want to buy any of the other packs thinking that a big box will come out for the last eight years and so far nothing. 😳

Liked it enough, but don't play solo!
5 towers! The first game culled twice on the channel! 🤣
Haha, great work!
How do you guys get rid of games?
Mostly sell them very cheap at local cons! :)
I just culled roughly 150 games.
how do you cull? Seems like the secondary market is soft.... regardless of price
Amazing :D
Brutal
Need to have space on the shelves :P
Can I have agent avenue ? I can’t find it anywhere.
I like it. Very nice filler game.
Sadly already gone! Hope you'll find it soon!
6:03 FINCA ...no.... .. its a great light/med rondel game .....Codenames? great general party game..... Isle of Skye! Oh! the humanity
Yes, all are great games, but we cannot own all great games!
I'm sorry, but how the hell could you ever get stuck with nothing to do in Alien Frontiers? What?
Don't sell Lords of Waterdeep, you'll regret it. The reason you couldn't think of a better gateway work placement game is because there isn't one!
I get what you are saying, but your reason would not be a reason for me to keep it. We also cull our collection regularly, and our reasoning is the same: if we haven’t played it in two years, it goes.
Not Lords of Waterdeep ... :(
Too many great games, and hopefully someone else will enjoy it!
A Feld leaving... 😭
Yeah, there is already a few that have left :O
@@BoardGamingRamblings To be honest I got rid of La Isla once, but I have nine Felds in my collection and one on the way. 😅
@@jankogo We have so many of his fantastic designs on the shelf, and for a long time we kept them all. Because of space, we cannot, and have to choose :)
Yokohama ??? That's it guys, I'm out !!! Kkkkkk
We didn’t need more than one 😅
One word…
Hahaha :P
Nahhh... Lords of Waterdeep is not really a good game relative to the alternatives.
It's a lot of fun, and we have been enjoying it a lot, but haven't played it in years!
