Correction: remember when it was literally impossible to nerf valk because of her ult and they had to make it into a survival item to stop pros from using it Valk received multiple nerfs and was STILL the most picked legend for that ALGs because of her ultimate, thats ALWAYS been the reason she was powerful the other abilities are strong sure but valks main draw has ALWAYS been free rotations

Agreed. Mostly comes to player skill imo, I've seen many high rank octanes have 0 issues playing because when the opponent simply misses half their shots a small health hit doesn't really matter as you still end up taking less damage thanks to lurches and strafing

Don’t forget Rev’s passive The faster crouch lets him move faster even while healing so he can be harder to hit if you’re forced to heal while vulnerable (it’s happened to me more than I’d like to admit) and the fast and longer climb grants him the vertical mobility to keep up with the other skirmishers, the amount of squad fights my team and I have won is huge and the main reason we won them is because all three of us could have the vertical mobility necessary to reach those squads in buildings or on high ground It’s also stealthier vertical mobility than the alternatives, because the gravity lift, the grapple, the Jetpack, it’s all, so goddamn LOUD
Of course it matter but the abilities have a crazy gap in effectiveness between the big and small characters to make up. Also good players will land shots no matter the character and those playing them will still be able to do good.
Regardless on how good the player is, it will always be easier to shoot a Rev sized hitbox vs a Wraith sized one. Imagine how busted a Wraith sized Pathy would be

honestly, yes wraith is fun but there is so much ways it can actually support your team, cuz if you think abt it imagine ur stuck in a room with 2 doors and 2 teams are on each of them, breaking or opening them and porting ur self out with phase is gonna be super good but in the end id only out wraith at 4th
octanes double pad perk is insane for fighting, i just use pads mid fight and beam them mid air while tap strafing over them or if there's a squad above me i just tap strafe into them off the pad and drop them, who used an octane pad in a straight line while getting shot at lol

I miss season 3-5 of apex, it was summer and me and my friends played all day losing every game but having the time of our lives, I played octane and my friends played revenant and lifeline. Apex needs a throwback event like fortnite ❤
Wraith deserves higher as her alt is probs the best skirmisher alt as it allows one player who has a way to go invinsable to get there teammates to a safer place without being attacked also she can solo push squads do high damage then retreat using her tactical which no other legends can do
I like revenant, been a main since day one but it feels like his ult is a little bit weak, I'M NOT COOKING, but 75 hp gets shredded so fast because of the hitbox and how 3rd parties targets you. So try getting a use out of it if 6 players target you while your 2 level 10 bloodhound and lifeline is looking the same deathboxes for 20 minutes
Wraith have a little hitbox.. his tactical is verry useful for running away in a battle, and his portal is useful for placement, when you have to rota with your teamate.. or help them to back. And with that, we have a speedboost for each of this two capacity, so she basically have a cool movement capacity... But just my opinion i think
i feel like since they completely reworked rev octane needs a buff. literally the initial reason they started to adjust octane was cuz of that season 13? (i don't quite remember exactly) rev x octane push. rev ult into far range octane pad.

My horizon ult almost never works. But when it's against me.. I've literally been sucked up from the top of a freaking mountain. It was the dumbest 💩 I've ever seen and I recorded and saved it
Wraith honestly aint that bad. She can create big plays and can rotate in and out of fights for the team. Her ult can create angles for your team to pinch teams from multiple angles. Unless the other team is super aware and good at communicating no one suspects wraity to just port on top of you. Kidnapping plays with a caustic or wattson are so fun and actually a good strat. Wraith only sucks if the person playing her sucks and cant create oppurtunitys with her.
Octane is easily top 3 when you have somebody with good control over their movement. By the time you're in lobbies where people beam him throughout the arc that his jump pad sends him, you're also at the point where every octane main tap strafes and becomes nearly impossible to hit.

If it isn't a Caustic boxing someone in, its an Octane moving untracrably fast and side-stepping at an inhuman speed to knock a squad or two all by himself; probably jumping 3 feet into the air and managing to move left and right 6 times over before touching the ground. Its like trying to shoot a mosquito.
I agree with octane and wraith being the worst skirmish pick but the community certainly disagrees as there the most picked legends in the game. I hate dealing with those players as well, make me wish respawn would nerf them into the ground but that's not happening so yh.
In ranked, octane is a selfish pick. Either always running away when teammate and myself are fighting a team or always engaging alone without us then blames us for poor positioning.

Just pick the upgrade that resets it on knocks, you can leap at someone then knock, then leap at the next person, knock them, then repeat on the 3rd.
You can either say:
"A Valk ult is a free evac tower"
