Excellent job Glen in comparing the hybrid and regular irons on pitch and chip shots! As a senior golfer, I replaced my long irons a few years ago with hybrids! I have now purchased a set of graphite shafted hybrid irons with a wide sole and a cavity back! I feel that with the kikuyu grass that I play on in Southern California, these clubs are a lot easier to get through the ball! As Always, Well Done Glen!
As a senior golfer, I replaced my 4, 5, 6 irons with 3, 4, 5 hybrids and it has made a difference in my game. I use the hybrids when off the green depending on the lie, length of shot and any obstacles in the path. Great video!
Thanks Glen. I have a 4 and 5 iron in the Cleveland hybrid. I use them when I’m not feeling great with my normal long irons. They are so easy to hit, though a bit harder to manipulate your shots. I’d recommend them to anyone who is struggling with their irons. Cheers, Steve
Titleist TS2 Driver- Adams Tight Lies 5 wood -7 wood- Adams A3OS 8hybrid iron- 9iron- PW-Vokey SM 9 52 & 56 degree wedge in my bag playing the best golf of my life @ 77 yrs young!!!
Hey Glen and Steve, A really enjoyable video. Love the comparisons between irons and hybrids. Something I struggle with is chipping with a hybrid. How hot the ball comes off the face. Keep up the great work guys. Cheers Joe
I replaced my 4,5, and 6 irons with old Taylor Made rescue hybrids. I found the distances are practically identical, and they are way easier to hit. I'm seriously considering the clubs you are using in the video to replace my 7,8, and 9.
Thank you for another helpful video. I bet you have a lot more shirts than clubs. How many shirts have you got ? Each video you wear a different shirt.!
Hi Alan Yes, I must have about 25-30 Red Belly Active Polos. They’re awesome! and so cool and comfortable. It’s my wife, Helen’s brand. Mainly ladies’ golf fashion apparel but occasionally releases some men’s shirts. Thanks for noticing.

Great to hear John, keep those hybrids working! I wonder how long it will be before I switch out a couple more irons! 🙏 Glen
I think you did just great with the hybrid, making one and one spinning out on those chip shots just off the green! A shot that's in my quiver!
Cheers! TBH I reckon I could game them in the mid to long irons!

Great to hear Rick. Hybrids are a game changer for seniors! So, no #6?

Hi Joe
Yes, you’re right! The golf ball does come off the clubface very fast!
Cheers
