There's a softlock glitch we refer to as the "infinite elevator glitch" that sometimes occurs on the elevator ride to level 96. Resetting the game before going into 91-100 makes it less likely to occur

@@Nate_Nitrogen oh yeah, I do remember something like that happening to me once, any idea why it might be happening? Unless the reset is forced into every run by the speedruning community, having the timer running while resetting is just time loss, if this game keeps getting speedran, in the future the reset will be non optimal for wr and youd have to take the rng blow

@@heagridswager We don't know what causes this glitch to happen.
As for the reset being a "time loss", it's true in a way, but the reality is that the few runners this game has do not care. Maybe things could change if the game gets more runners, but I don't see it happening any time soon
