So inspiring to see someone with fine baby-thin hair that's VERY long. It shows me what it possible as I've been told many times that it is impossible to grow out fine hair. Thank you for this video! 💓

Right. Alot of ppl always want u to cut it but its your hair. My hair has been past my butt and to my thighs for yrs no. I have naturally thin/fine texture hair. I have a decent amount of it but i went thru an episode of hair loss after being diagnosed with hypothyroidism. So its quite devastating.its nice to see some tips and pointers so i can keep most of it which i cut to rightabove my butt

It's not impossible, it just doesn't look good.

@@JaneDoe77721 no it's not impossible at all. As far as it not looking good at depends on how healthy your hair is. I've seen people with super long hair but they don't take care of it and it's extremely thin as well. She has beautiful hair but I will say it's a little too long as far as giving her fullness and volume. I like to keep mine to my but or above because the longer it is the more damaged and dead ends you have cuz you need to have more thinner ends and thinner hair tends to be more fragile hence it being broken off at with split ends.

    • @greenknitter

@@JaneDoe77721 You can't say it doesn't look good if the hair is well taken care of and healthy. I have very fine hair and growing it long and it's super healthy and shiny-fine hair tends to have more shine than coarse, and I love my hair.
Fine hair is a blessing. Scandinavians for example have fine hair generally but it's one of the most beautiful and sought after for making hair extensions.

    • @JaneDoe77721
      @JaneDoe77721 3 роки тому

      @@greenknitter A) if you say so 🤣
A few untruths in your reply though
The most sought after hair for hair extension comes from india.
dark hair tends to be shinier, because it reflects light better. It has nothing to do with the coarseness or the finess of the hair, or where it comes from.
Finally, though your premise about scandinavian hair being the most sought after is untrue, has it occurred to you that statement might indicate that it's also Scandinavian some people with that type of hair who are most interested in hair extensions? Perhaps because they don't like fine thin hair and so require additional extensions?
      Whatever dude.

I am so glad to have found this video. It makes me feel good about my very fine Scandinavian/German hair instead of telling me I need to be making it look thicker. When you use the commonly recommended thickening techniques, it often damages fine hair, causing it to lose its silkiness. Fine hair is beautiful, and should be accepted as it is!

Yes, this is the first video I've seen that helped me appreciate my fine, thin hair. I'm 46 years old and think long hair just looks so right on women and was devastated because my hair is "supposed to be kept short". I realized something was wrong with that because most women had long hair all throughout history until more modern times, and so they're had to be women with thin, fine long hair. So nice to see women still growing out their hair. I'm in the process.

Thank you so much for this! I feel like fine hair isn't represented as much in the long hair community. Everybody seems to get on my case for washing my hair every day(or every other day sometimes) but my hair is so fine it looks greasy by the end of 24 hours. So glad to see I'm not the only one. I'd love to see more of your fine haired friends and I hope we will in future.

I just recently discovered your channel, and It's so refreshing seeing fine thin hair being represented in the long hair community. I have VERY baby fine and thin hair, it looks very much like Sabrinas's texture and density. I've always dreamed of achieving long waist length hair, but like many others, I've always been told by hairdressers and others that it is impossible for me to grow my hair out that long, it won't look good or be healthy, only let it get as long as shoulder length ext. But Sabrina inspires me to continue with my long hair goal.
    Thank you!

Hi I have very fine hair too. I let it grow down to my tail bone with no problems. I used a leave in conditioner to help with breakage. Last year I got a moderate case of covid and lost almost all of my hair. Thank God it is finally growing back.
Enjoy your long hair. Don't trim it only micro trims for split ends. You may need to even out the ends on occasion. But don't let anyone tell you to trim every few months. You will never get the length you want. Best wishes!! 😊

I've been learning to love it, and this video helps so much! Maybe we can't make huge braids and our hair is easy to damage, but it is floaty and delicate like clouds, and that lightness is special all on it's own! :)

My hair is very thin like the girl with the medium length brownish hair but naturally blonde like the first girl.... and it's wavy/curly!!! I cannot brush my hair or let it dry naturally. It is a disaster. I kept it very short for about 20 years until I found out about how to care for curly hair. It was a lifesaver. Thanks for posting this even tho it doesn't apply to me specifically. There are too few videos or blogs for natural blondes with thin and fine hair.

    Hi
I like to give some tips ..
    First increase ur food intake...
Little more weight help to grow hair...
When ur boby have enough nutrition it can help u to grow ur hair.
And don't use commercial shampoos and try to use chickpeas powder for hair wash only and use fenugreek water for hair rinse. It really makes difference.
I hope it will help u

Some people like me, will never be able to grow very long hair, no matter what they do. Everybody's hair has a lifespan, that is why some are able to grow their hair ultra long and others aren't.
