Hey Adam, I'm signed up to BGE and up to P5. Wish this video was in it. Instead Colin just whizzes through it and then says go figure it out...set it all up yourself. As a total beginner, would appreciate this video (with added content as I did pay +£1000) to hand hold through the early stages of the process. Really love your videos, you're doing such a great job!
Thanks and I appreciate the feedback. We’re actually in the process of shooting BGE 4.0 which will have 15-20+ hours of new content including a lot more WordPress stuff. It will be live sometime around late May. :)
@@AdamEnfroy 4.5 is out and it's still terrible. All over the place and unfollowable for a beginner. I've had to come back to this video many times, in fact you would do better to just stick this video in the training. Make a video from zero to done with the tools you recommend in the course.
Good basic. It can be tricky. A full tutorial would take a bit. Hour +. Always looking for something I may have missed. Or a hack. Or better info. Always good info here. GPT is gonna change alot of this. 👍
how do we set up the structure of the post on the main page? as far as most popular or post that are in the similar topic that add to the previous post.
I will create a website but i am from Greece and i dont know, when i will write blog posts if they rank on page 1,2 or 3. But that i want to say is that if my blogs rank on page 1 their projections will be from Greece only, or from other countries too
Hey Adam, this information is invaluable, thank you! Do you have indepth step by step info on all of the WordPress settings/plug ins you use in your BGE course? Thanks again!
Thank you Adam for providing such a value. Because of you, I finally decided to setup a site and start rolling, been waiting ages for quality, straight to the point content like yours, The keyword research tool is a bit expensive when just starting out, and I have no cash flow generated yet, do you have any free or cheaper alternative to recommend to start with ? Thanks in advance :)
Another great video...thanks, Adam! Can you explain follow/no follow? Also, is it important to have a featured image, or is it OK to just place the first image under title?
Hello Adam, I just decided to reach out, leaving this comment to let you know that I was recently watching the free masterclass that you provided, but a couple minutes into the presentation, it frose up and stopped playing for some reason. I don't really know what might have caused the video to stop playing, but I had to let you know. I therefore hope the problem gets fixed.
I used a theme where it comes with theme page pictures. I deleted the picture that come with the theme and I put my own featured image . But it's not showing!. What can I do to show the featured image? Can you please help me?
What if one’s name isn’t available as a domain? Are you suggesting too that this website can be used for affiliate marketing for many different niches or just one? Thanks
You can use a variation of your name + guide or advice, tips, etc. And you should stay in one broad niche but across multiple categories. For example, you stay in outdoor and do camping, hiking, fishing, boating, etc. so you're not pigeonholed. But you wouldn't do outdoor + something unrelated like finance.
I commented on some of the major issues editing this theme. If I wasn't already days deep into all that I had to fight to customize, I would have ditched it and went with a basic, simpler theme. You should be able to find my recent comment.
I’m confused. Did you say you can add plug-ins on the free site? It’s late and I’ve been working for hours, so I may have missed something….but I’m on the premium plan and it doesn’t allow me to use plug-ins unless I upgrade to the business plan. Am I doing something wrong?
Hey man, i got a question, if we have to update our blog articles constantly, it's doesn't look like that much of a passive way of income. also there are others trying to get better ranks on google so one day they would take our position. right?
Yes, there's no such thing as true passive income. To keep plants alive, you have to water them - it's the same thing. However, once you start making money, you don't necessarily have to be the one updating the posts yourself. Blogging is still the most passive form of passive income because you can outsource it. And you don't have to update posts "constantly". More like every 3-6 months.
adam did you not tell us to choose our niche based on US and not based on the market? you said in the video that you should search a profitable niche but on the masterclass said that we choose our niche based on US and our passion/expertise.
Thanks for this WP Theme tutorial attempt. Unfortunately, this theme took alot of customizing that wasn't intuitive for my blog's branding and content. Spent days just adjusting the colors for links, menus, etc for accessibility requirements, and find plugins for accessibility. Also, took a while to adjust the footer for adding disclaimer text as formatting the footer wasn't intuitive either, esp where to place the widgets to position properly. Had to find alot more plugins and manually set up for auto-insert FTC compliance affiliate and other disclaimers for each blog post, image alt-text, and one for website cookie banner compliance for tracking, etc. Also, required privacy policy, TOS, & disclosure/disclaimer pages to link in footer was not noted in this tutorial, which is crucial considering possible FTC non-compliance, headaches, fines, lawsuits, etc. ADA lawyers for accessibility compliance are also targeting bloggers/website owners for non-compliance lawsuits, so please make note of these additionally required adjustments in building any WP site. It takes ALOT longer than this video length to manually complete all these tasks before launching a blog. A much simpler/minimalist WP theme would have saved me days of manual adjustments against the baked-in styling of this WP theme, replacing all the bloat images/text, replacing the nav menu text and hierarchy, etc.
Appreciate the quality of your work, but I find the speed of your speech and the rate of your delivery sometimes overwhelming, particularly when you are on the technical stuff. Slow down and do less, would be my preference. Then you are a great educator! Hope you don't mind mind the comment.

Do we have to have a business plan on WordPress to add plugins?
I recommend you start with a WordPress.org site (not .com). And get a web host like WPX.

You should use WordPress.org with paid web hosting, not WordPress.com.
