Adventure 230703 Lockwood Trail Frazier Park California

This is actually part 1 of the 2 part series, Lockwood/Miller Trail videos. Part 1 (this video) is of the Lockwood Trail, from the trailhead to Sunset Campgrounds. The Miller Trail portion, from Sunset Campgrounds to Dutchman Campgrounds is actually part 2 of this 2 part series. I want to give a special shout out to Mike and Misty (mikeandmisty) for taking the time to put this run together and for leading us on this trail.

I’ve only ridden that trail on a dirtbike. But that looks like a lot of fun. I wish you would have capture more of the switch back at the beginning! Do you think a 4Runner would make it or dodge 2500 4x4 on 35”

I think the 4Runner would be fine on the Lockwood Trail. There are some sharp turns on the trail that require almost 3 point turning maneuvers. The Miller Trail though… it’s not too bad until you get close to the campground at the top of the mountain. It’s gets a little sketchy.
