The whole video I was really hoping she didn’t pass away and when I saw that last clip of the kids seeing Lydia, I was so Relieved. I’m so glad she’s doing better

O my goodness, I cried watching this video. You folks are so lucky to have a place to take Lydia in a case of emergency. Where I live, come 6pm, the vets lock up and go home! There is no-one to call for help in a case of emergency. And this happened to us on Wednesday night when our little Daisy took ill. She crawled into my study where I usually sit and work and I sat with her trying to make her comfortable, also googling her symptoms, my husband phoning around trying to find anyone to help us....but to no avail! She died in my arms Thursday morning! We are shattered and still in shock. It was so quick too....not even 24hours.....
Treasure your time with Lydia. They are a blessing to us and our little ones.🙏💕

I lost my best friend 🐾 just before Thanksgiving and just before his 10th birthday. I still cry for him. I am very grateful the Lord gave you more time for you and your sweet babies to enjoy their furry best friend awhile longer. 💕💕🐾

I wonder if I’m all of the excitement of loving & her running & playing around in the snow if she did something? Mike your music had me in tears. Like those ASPCA dog commercials with the sad music. Awwww I'm so glad lydia is recovering I will keep her in my prayers. I lost 2 of my wee dogs last year and I truly know how you feel when they get ill. Keep a bag of cat litter in your garage and when you have any spill's of any kind be it oil , antifreeze anything ,pour the cat litter on the spill let it sit and absorb the spill ,it might take a little while but it will soak it up and make it much easier to get up and hopefully no resedue will be left.

I knew when you were talking about the antifreeze it couldn't be that because y'all were so careful to get it all cleaned up! Glad she's ok!!
That is so scary. I had a similar situation with my pup son a few years ago. Woke up one morning and he couldn’t stand without falling on is face, he had a spinal stroke but was just fine a few days later. But it is sooo scary waiting to find out what’s wrong. Glad Lydia is feeling better, she’s lucky to have so many brothers and sisters to take care of her!

Glad for the good news, losing a family pet is so hard. Y’all should look into getting her glucosamine being that she is older. It really helped my older dogs when they had joint pain.

The Moore the merrier, I am so happy that your GSD is doing better, 2 years ago we had a similar scare with our German Shepherd, unfortunately for us it was Canine degenerative myelopathy and there was nothing that could done for her when we took her to the emergency vet. I miss her dearly still. I am happy a positive outcome came with your GSD.

I'm so happy Lydia is ok and the family gets to spend more time with her. You may want to take her to vet and have them do x rays on her spine and hips. My husky has hip dysplasia and that's how he was acting and walking. Praying she fully recovers! 🙏

It's so scary when things like that happen. We have s dachshund and they are prone to back and hip issues and has done the same thing the last few winters when it flairs up. I just keep pain killers and anti inflammatories around just in case and he is usually better in a week or so. So happy Lydia is doing better

Glad I didn't miss this video! I was scared the entire beginning 😞 we once had a German Shepherd mix who was in an accident. Rushed him to the vet and got the call the following morning by the vet right as we were about to enter the bus that he didn't make it. It was devastating and we stayed home. Man, he was a great dog 😢🐕

Think Lydia got more attention from the kids than that entire time at the vet for blood and urine tests. Don’t get me wrong, very glad she’s better. I have a GS mix and the back problems are there. No more stairs or jumping of any kind.

@@TheMooreTheMerrier Maybe she needs acupunctur and/or a couple of visits with a chiropractor to strengthen her back and legs and make sure all things are in the right places. Imagine walking around with like a pinched nerve in the back.
Our 10 year old saint has the same issue, he is on pain killers and muscle relaxers
