Thanks for the install video and tips! I was just going to get the link to get away from the tuna can, but after seeing the headers, I’ll just spend the extra money and do it right! You just got a new sub!
Honestly, I did a bunch of looking around and found that Sawicki Speeds bolt-on was the one that give me butterflies every time I crack the throttle I also understand Sawicki Speed is supposed to be coming out with a full titanium setup very soon... Fingers crossed!!
After following the included instructions I decided to take it all off, assemble everything with anti-seize and springs and then install it all together. WAY better. Do yourself a favor, save a bunch of time and headache and go that route.
robbynelson3 it’s way lighter than the Oem setup with tuna can, 8lbs I believe. Can I feel it while riding? No, but less weight means improvements in all areas no matter how slight. Performance wise I will be taking it to a dyno facility to properly tune it for max power, it feels faster, but could just be me riding harder to enjoy the bark! At the end of the video I show Akrapovic dyno and weight info.
300zxdriver Yea, I still haven’t found the right combination of quality, style, function, and value. The latest RSD branded mirrors look promising so I may take a look at those. Quickshifter will be the next FTR mod as I have the parts already.

Thanks! I’m glad I could help

just removing the cat makes a huge difference in sound even with baffles in?
Yup, gives it a really aggressive sound
I know im a little late, do you know of these will fit a 23? The cat is made onto the headers with mine looks the same but am unsure...
Nice headers, where did you get it from?
I ordered from eBay as they had the lowest price I could find at the time. Not sure who has the best deal now.
@@jeniusbiker I just ordered mine (coming from Michigan). Do you have a video where you have the bike outside? I wanna hear how it sounds.
Question brother.
How is the sound when you are going 70 to 75 MPH on a long trip ?
Do you think it’s too loud ?
Jeffrey Estrella from the saddle it’s not that much louder at speed.
@@jeniusbiker Perfect! Thank you Sir.
Notice the difference in weight? How about performance?

Who did you get your tune file from?
djKail05 I bought the dynojet from fuelmoto and they supplied the updated tunes for the header upgrade, but I’m going to a dyno shop for tune soon.
If I the cat my bike do I need to dino as well ?
Is the same bike you have Sir.
I wouldn’t remove the Cat without ECU tune. It would be ok to remove baffles in silencers without tune
Thank you Sir.
Have the titanium headers turned blue yet?
The coloring on them is beautiful. I will shoot an updated video of the bike soon
Easier to remove the pin and the rear brake rod to get at the mount bolt.
Easier that pulling the entire peg bracket assembly.
That just might be. I’m not known for doing things the easy way lol
Where is the quick shifter video?
Man, I forgot all about that. I’m gonna have to dig through my parts and find it
Keep them coming. Need some shorter mirrors, they look like rabbit ears.

What’s your day job?
“persuasion”
Wow, all that stuff and you use a POS lift.
Those amazing POS lifts are the Jenius buy of the motorcycling world!
