Hi there Jenna, that was so kind and very thoughtful of you to give my channel that lovely shout-out. My figures have struggled and the channel has struggled to gain momentum, with your kind words and help from Paul Clark, I hope it will now push forward. Thank you again Jenna so kind, I'll definitely thank you officially in my new Friday's Video. Best wishes to you and Mr. Rainey for 2022. Paul

Wow, I am old in age but new to UA-cam, I am so impressed with you sharing this list and the list a day or so ago. I have found some of these channels already. I am returning to watercolor after years away. Before I had classes at a rec center in Colorado and then Chinese watercolor classes at the evening program here in Washington state. I am not a good painter, I love the act of painting. I am getting stronger after being bed ridden this summer fighting cancer. I am presently mostly house bound so turning to channels to watch because I decided I want to paint again. Your kindness and generosity to others has really impressed me. I am becoming a fan of you. I have watched a few of your videos and liked your approach and voice. Now I am impressed by you as a person. Bravo you!

I am "old in age", too, and I recently returned to watercolor- I never had the patience before now! I strongly recommend Ellen Crimi-Trent and Steve Mitchell- "The Mind of Watercolor" specifically to you. They are experienced working artists who are wonderful about inspiring and encouraging you to get up and do it!! They both have a calm and relaxing voice and a great sense of humor. They show their mistakes and they are always working hard to produce quality instruction. They also have hundreds of past videos and playlists that you can watch to learn even more!! We are stuck at home- they have both been great for my boredom and my mood!! Best of luck!

I have been an acrylic and multi-media artist for many years and taken MANY classes over the years (including local in-person watercolor classes). I could never get into watercolor before- I never had the patience. Ellen Crimi-Trent is one of THE BEST teachers on youTube for beginners for watercolors, gouache, ink and wash, and the many techniques she employs using a variety of subject matters. She INSPIRES (a real talent), and works really hard for her viewers to provide fun, creative, easy to follow projects that are not intimidating. Her personality is easy-going and relaxed- she makes me laugh and smile when I'm watching- Something we ALL need in these crazy times. I've learned SO much and I've only been watching for 3 months!!! I support her on Patreon, and she works hard for her patrons, too. Her channel is growing by leaps and bounds. I encourage beginners and procrastinators (like me) to check her channel out!!! And, I agree with Jenna, Louise DeMasi is fantastic for those who are REALLY serious about learning to watercolor, or learning to perfect your skills. (I support her on Patreon, too and she works equally hard for her 2500+ patrons!) Jenna is right! There are numerous, wonderful teachers on youTube- you just need to check one out for a bit and you will find what you're looking for. We are so lucky to have so many talented and experienced artists that are willing to share their knowledge. It's wonderful that we can get this level of training online- FREE, every day!! Thanks for the good advice, Jenna! 👍

Smaller channels that does watercolor and I recommend are:
-How To Paint Watercolors Live With The Art Sherpa (she use to do most of her live watercolor paintings on facebook till not too long ago, and now she does the lives on both facebook and UA-cam, so there is much more than what's on her UA-cam currently .... very good for beginners and shows the complete process of the paintings and she also has an acrylic painting channel that is live as well).
-The Frugal Crafter she does a ton of reviews of alot of products and compares them with other brands as well as does watercolor and other media tutorials. She is very knowledgeable and helpful if you ever have questions on most media.

I’m a big Natasha Newton fan - happy to see her on your list. She shows a bit of her technique but doesn’t instruct as much as others. But I love her style, palettes and art supply unboxings. I also like CeeCee Creations(?), but she seems to have slowed down on her YT posts, unfortunately. Still, lots of great past videos. Lastly, another artist I follow is Taria’s Sketchy Adventures. More urban sketching/painting. Thanks again, Jenna! Love learning about all the creators from you and your followers!

Some of my "baby" watercolor subs... paintinghyun, she does loose florals... wearefamilyart, very small channel, mostly landscape and portrait, lots of limited palette work...lou davis, mostly structural pen and wash, some crafts and abstracts.... Nil rocha, pen and wash scribble style, student of peter sheeler (who also has a channel and is my hero, completely changed my painting style) ... hajra meeks, no longer creating at this time but huge back catalog of videos, vintage reproduction, lots of detailed instruction... Lizzie harper, true botanical and natural history illustration and just a wonderful person, she also has a very extensive blog. Not a small channel really but I love Arleebean, she does very unique portraits and she's basically therapy to watch.

It's not a small channel but I love James Gurney Art UA-cam channel. He always talks his choices and process through, and he subjects are varied from super fantastic (like Dinotopia) to very realistic (like an abandoned truck). He also teaches interesting stuff like how to make your own easel or what to pack for an outdoor sketching/painting session.

Just thought I'd drop a comment here that I signed on to do the art challenge with you for 2022. I hope you enjoyed doing all of your birds. The challenge I set for myself was to do some sort of Art on a weekly basis. I think I've been at least 96% successful keeping that goal. there were some weeks that I did several art projects and there were some that I was more passive in just absorbing art tutorials and getting ideas. I have had so much fun with watercolors and watercolor pencils especially intense. I also started creating things in polymer clay and have enjoyed the process for that even if the end result turned out to be an epic fail. I've definitely been reminded of and embraced Bob Ross's quote about no mistakes in art just happy accidents. :-) I have found in this last year that the Journey of making art has increased the joy in my life. I'm planning on doing the same challenge for this next year. Thanks for inspiring me. Blessings.

I just discovered you and really enjoy your no nonsense approach to educating us on Watercolors. I look forward to going backwards to view your other videos. Thank you for taking the time to make us all just that much better in our artistic endeavors!

Frank Halliday definitely needs more subscribers, he was teaching in cruise ships for years, is in his 80s now and for bored during lockdown so started a UA-cam channel, easy landscapes with great skies,
Wendy Powell Jones is great, very calm and explains well, vand just started a beginners course,
Heinrich Edgecombe just started new, great simple videos,
Paintinghyun, Liron Yanconsky, Draw with Shiba, Oliver Pyle, Shibasaki, Watercolour café, Yong Chen are great too but much bigger, but I didn't check how big they are
