This channel exists to document unit counters within StarCraft 2. Tya's Unit Tournament features epic battles between units in StarCraft 2, using music from the game's soundtrack. Units are chosen from Protoss, Terran and Zerg forces, or a coop commander such as Raynor, Nova, Artanis, or Kerrigan. Units will independently use their abilities, in a basic way. All units use Legacy of the Void stats, the same units you'd see in SC2 esports controlled by the likes of Serral, Maru, and ByuN. That Artanis fight is how the Shakuras missions ended in the LotV campaign.

Yeah, Astral Winds popped right as he won - an extra zergling would have gotten him before that, I think.

This is with Astral Winds being used when shields drop to 50% which is extremely inefficient. Player controlled Artanis (or just one that trigger Astral Winds at 10% HP or something) would probably be able to take on an infinite number of lings

Ngl I consider the Reavers and the Dragoons the true winners. The resource difference was HUGE in favor of the Ultralisks and Mutalisks. BW Protoss units doing some heavy lifting 💪

They are quite bad comparatively. They barely won against a comparative worth of thors, and it's on full open ground as well.
With micro, as in focused fire they would have won.

Imagine if all co-op commanders have Prestige 4 and it allows them to have a hero and those commanders with hero will have a buff instead

Time to queue up some more carrier battles! I'm not sure what balance changes you use in your videos but the community made multiplayer patch just changed interceptor targeting priority from 20 to 19, meaning they are one less than carriers themselves. It may change how a lot of these no micro battles play out.
Pretty sure his videos already use an AI that targets the carriers first anyway.

It's funny that literally all the zerg units from broodwar are part of competitve sc2 but toss and terran couldn't get their units. It blows my mind that Zerg is always so fucking strong, and it's beenlike that for 10 years with crushing majority of zergs winning titles..
I miss the reaver
Let's see the 200 Ultralisks take on 75 P1 Reavers. The prestige boost should likely be enough to overcome the Ultralisks by reducing or eliminating the time that Reavers are out of ammo.
Of course, then you need to change the Ultralisks into one of its two strains. Likely Torrasque Strain. I don't think P1 Reavers can overcome 200 Torrasque Strain Ultralisks.
Artanis could do more if he's more tactical about the usage of astral wind. He's wasting it in the video.

I like your videos, but your resources balance in terms of deciding the number of units is decidedly poor at times. This is especially true when choosing Zerg units - at times, the sheer cost of the Zerg units being committed is more than double the cost of the opposing units.
In real gameplay, that is how zerg works. Keep chunking loads of units until the enemy collapses under the pressure. Why do you think hatcheries are 300 instead of 400?
