This is my favorite Madonna. Voice, guitar, depth and song with meaning. I'm still expecting her to get back to this, maybe for her next album. I take this over any mainstream song and shocking video she did.

Really miss this madonna. Saw rebel heart tour, and while it was a fucking amazing show. It was pretty light in songs and themes. Love madonna with a little bite
I can relate to this, since I have lost my father. Not at such a young age like Madonna, but still... There aren´t much songs about the loss of a parent.
I like this performance...even if Madonna cannot reach higher keys it doesn't matter...this is one of her best performances...she looks authentic and the song is good...other performances I like are Forbidden love and Jump from the Confessions tour
People have to get rid of this sick idea that higher range means a better voice. There are so many of them who can hit higher notes, but their voices lack musicality or melodiousness. Musicality or melodiousness of voice is a quality that has nothing to do with high notes or sharp pitch. Madonna has a very sweet and melodious voice, something that the likes of Mariah Carey or Christina Aguilera will never have, no matter how high notes they reach. And look at the result of trying to hit high notes throughout her prime for Mariah; she has ruined her voice. On the other hand, look at M's voice. It has aged like old wine. I don't know who they're listening to but she has a beautiful voice and she's super talented as a song writer and musician. Only thing I disagree with is the part about Mariah, I think she has a beautiful singing voice. I agree about Christina though, even though I like a lot of her songs, she does just seem to belt out for the sake of it. She also hasn't got a voice that I'd say sounds beautiful. Like Avril Lavigne's voice, it's instantly recognisable and she's a great singer with a lovely tone to her voice. Taylor was a little pitch when she first started but she's worked on her vocals since she was getting hate for it and now she's so much better
