You will achieve this with fabrics that are cut in squares where you fold in the edges or stitch. As for curved parts on your fabric, thebonky method I know is to use a zigzag stitch.

So if that's the case, how would one wear it, Cox I used to think that the shirt would be opened by the side, before sewing?, I don't think you understood Olaitan's qtn dear, pls explain
I stitched the patch only on the front of the Tee shirt. I didnt have to open the side at all.The shirt is already opened at the bottom so I pushed the back out of the way and sewed my patch to the front.
One smart lady! Kudos to you!
Simple and nice. Thank you so much Cissca. God bless you.
You are the best ❤️
Your illustration is simple and easy to follow. However I think hard stay can also be used👍
You can definitely try it, I haven't done a patch with hard stay though. I feel it will make it very thick.
What if I don't have a zigzag stitch? How do i keep the edges of the patch from fraying? Thank you.

Fusing with the interfacing should help stop the fraying but it may or may not cause an unfinished look on the garment
Pls did u cut the shirt into two before sawing
You are a good sketching. Thank you that looks wonderful
Do you have to disjoin the shirt before patching?
Thanks for this tutorial.❤️
well done sis ,good tutorial
Beautifully done xx
Thx 4 this, wat else can I use to conceal d edges cos I don't av a zigzag machine yet
I have no idea. I haven't discovered any other method.
Hand stitch blanket stitch.
You can turn edges under.
Yieeeee she did it for me 😘

How do you sew it down without sewing your shirt shut? Sorry I’m a beginner
Thank baby! So simple
U r a blessing ma 😄😇💪😍🍾🙏😎
Thank you!😊
Thanks for the illustration. Please how did you achieve the zigzag stitch. Did you use normal sewing machine?
It comes with the sewing machine, usually the electric one!
Thanks
I like your videos....But I was expecting to see how you sow the butterfly patch on the tshirt.....
Hiya and Thank you! I just used a straight stitch to sew it unto the Tee shirt.
What if I don't have zigzag stitch on my machine because what I'm using is manual
Well...you can have it done for you in shops where they offer outer weaving services.
Beautiful indeed lady!
But did you attach to shirt with straight stitch?
Yes with a straight stitch.
Can I print out the sketch I want to use???
You can use any shape. It doesn’t matter where it derived.
So Nice. All the time I watch your videos and I thought I subscribed lol only to réalise that I didnt. So No let me do it before I forget again. Lol
Thank you!😊
Just curious because I’m still working on my sewing skills, do you think fabric glue would work?
You can, though the fabric glue may wear off after a couple of washes.
Can the hemling tape or fabric glue be used to stick it also ? Just asking
I haven't tried either. Test it out on rough fabric and see before going to attach to a Tee shirt.
I will give this a trial ISA
What was that fabric you ironed on? I didn't quite get it.
it is called fusible interfacing. In nigeria we call it gum stay. go to any sewing supply store and ask for gum stay they will know what you mean!
This is creative! Thanks for this video
Thank you!
How did you stitch without it affecting the back ?
The stitch will definitely show on the inside of the shirt😊.
No I'm asking about the back piece since the front and back have been joined together at the side
So if that's the case, how would one wear it, Cox I used to think that the shirt would be opened by the side, before sewing?, I don't think you understood Olaitan's qtn dear, pls explain
