If you want to cut out the Ankara pattern, you can use an electric scissors or soldering iron so that the Ankara will not fray cos even if you sew it after using ordinary scissors, it will still fray

I used the glue to seal the edges.
You can still take it to taylor to see it and that will secure it even more.

No.....your work will be very rough you know glue gun is very hot, so it won't allow you to place the glue in the edge. You can use any cool gum.
