In the Netherlands there is this TOP2000 every year between XMas and 31/12 listened by millions. We fans all should vote for Archive and I'm sure we get the attention they deserve. Every year I vote perhaps as the only one:(
Not popular doesn't necessarily mean underrated. Most popular music is some of the worst music out there. Popular taste means undeveloped taste. It is a fashion statement, not a sincere interest. People listening to radio rap often don't actually have an interest in music. They have an interest in the social component of that association. Same is true for most country listeners. They don't grasp that the prevalence of their indifference is degenerate to the industry as a whole.
Loved any sound, It is nice and the sound is as the people feel in our days. Also reminded me a band the industry destroyed from a famous label stole their music and making money over them and fight it till stayed out of resources(Money) it was a shame act by the label because o i know 2 members and they had families and was their only source of income... one tried to kill himself but got him after the try and took him fast to hospital. Their name was Ambient Crew and reminds me the Super8 their experimental try with similar sounds. If you could done a collaboration till vanished them... it would be awesome if they haven't fallen victims. My +++ For Super8 !!!
This track is all my anxiety after we have air raid sirens blaring at night and a notification comes on my phone that a cruise missile is coming at the city, all my anxiety for the past 2.5 years is in this track.
Archive has such a unique emotion to their sound and i don’t understand how they stayed so underrated after all these years.
