I've just bought this exact model (April 1970) fully serviced and restored by a watchmaker and put on a badalassi Carlo handmade leather strap, and it looks absolutely STUNNING! Better and far more unique than the newest models.
@@vintagewatchtinkerer Hello! I have a Seiko Advan 1974 7019-7290, restored, reprinted and the original glass was replaced (I had to look for it). What can you say about this mechanism and was it worth restoring the watch? ($400)
I got one myself but i thought there is no quickset for the day, apparently it's broken or something, tried pressing real hard but only the date changed. 😢
I like how you not just admit your mistakes, but point them out. Great video. Keep up the great work.
Great job and thanks for taking the time to narrate
Looking to buy a 1973 model as date of my birth! Excellent video hopefully never have to use it myself!!

Great video, very well explained!
Perfecto video, gracias por compartir!
...ahora ya sé cómo es por dentro el último reloj que adquirí de mi colección.
Un amigo de Vigo, España.
¡Muchas gracias!
Very good, congrats
Thanks!
