I succeeded in repairing my Omega De Ville quartz watch. The movement itself was fully working but the pusher on the case was missing. I’ll show you how I made it.
Missing pusher seems a well-known problem for this movement. There must be two parts - a push button on the case and a push stem rod inside the case. If the inner push stem is lost, the push button cannot push far enough to push the button on the movement. In that case, you can create a stem from a 2 mm diameter rod. Any material will be fine, but tinkerers will find it easy to use a plastic or carbon rod. The push button is a press-fit part. If the inner gasket is disintegrated, it will fall out. The tube inner diameter is about 1mm and there is a 0.5 mm hole inside. A watchmaker will be able to make one with a lathe, but I don't have it. So, I made one from a watch stem that has an almost identical dimension. I hope this video helps someone who faced the same issue.
