What do the municipal workers do with the unwanted stuff in the swap tent? Do they then put it somewhere else such as recycling. Our region too big for a swap tent but love that you can find treasures. Thanks for the free painting lesson. Nice pine needles.🌲. My late hubby was an artist but I donated his supplies to a school. Must invest in a few decent brushes. 🖌️🎨. SUPERB interpretation 😊
Oh thank so much. I had fun with this one and it was great to get the paints out again. Just start off with maybe a few cheaper brushes to get yourself going. They empty the swap tent once a week and stuff that is in there is then put into the dump itself unfortunately. At least it all has a last chance for recycling first and you would not believe at how busy it is sometimes. I will try to do a recording of it next time I'm there. During the winter it is only open Wed-Sat. I only go if the weather is nice as it is a 20-25 min drive and about 1km of it is down a country road (gravel/mud). Hope you have a lovely rest of the day. ☺♥
@JoansJunkJournalsAndMore when my oldest daughter lived up north there was lots of goodies at the dump like furniture. Would be great to see yours. I do have some brushes so want to try the pine needles and then some kind of wildflower. I want to draw/paint thistles also for my Scottish journal.
@@iluvtojournal Ok, I will do a compilation(?) of a few trips to the swap tent to show some variety of what ends up there. Depending on the weather, the video could take up to a month, maybe more, to do. I wish I still had some stuff from when I went to Scotland in the late '80's . I'm part Scottish. You journal sounds like a fun one to do :)
