@@_Frosty.1 Your Rainbow Alpaca song ruined it for me... just kidding, it’s just not a lot of new and refreshing stuff coming out of my area it’s mainly all top 40
Hands down best reaction channel on UA-cam! Keep it up! I just love your air-drums and -guitars, makes me focus on the right thing at the right time. I love music and its just another (and better) experience with you guiding it!
@@ChaseCarneson oh boy, I'm starstruck. I follow your channel closely but this might have been my first ever UA-cam comment. Give my fellow germans from Blind Guardian another go with "The Bards Song" (/Valhalla live version), and if you come back to Spiritbox, I'd love your take on "Perennial". Have a Damn Good Day!
Nice pick. Been listening to them for a while and kinda digging it. I find It's a touch 'western' in the way they structure their songs, not to mention very polished and commercial, but that's no bad thing when it's done well. I don't recall Paramore doing anything anywhere near as good as this - perhaps I've overlooked them? To continue the melodic yet interesting theme while staying in Japan, I'd recommend Vivid Undress. Try the MV for SAYONARA DILEMMA (さよならジレンマ), which I think may have been filmed in the same location as Bloom.
My man Chase checked out The Winking Owl! Awesome! I love the energy in their music, and how well it's accentuated by the drums. PS maybe don't taunt 2020 like that :P
Came for "The Wiking Owl" stayed for the "Japanese Paramore" ... words are a funny buisness sometimes :D . Great Music though will check out more of them. Keep them coming Chase, you're doing some awesome stuff here!
Oh man, I love The Winking Owl. I was so sad when Luiza announced she was leaving them and the band was going on hiatus 😢 Thanks for reacting to them, Chase. Btw, was the other song you heard ‘NEW’? If not, please give it a listen 🙂
Hey, if you're into Japanese pop-rock things, check out Seiko Oomori. Her voice is really cool. My personal recommendation would be to check out Re: Re Love music video. Or you could check out MV for JUSTadICE, it's also a good song and it's more known because it's an OP for some anime. Keep up the good work.
Another Japanese band you should check out and you'll probably like is Story Of Hope, they were a great and really underrated Metalcore band, sadly they broke up some years ago but their music is amazing. You should try their song called "Your Colors, Your Feelings"!
Chase as usual great job picking up the details from the song and explaining them. Would love to hear your take on the band The Warning. Dust to Dust, this is the most common starting point for the band ua-cam.com/video/jhB5OssZB9U/v-deo.html (recent live performance) Or XXI Century Blood, their first music-video from their first album: ua-cam.com/video/syTyga3lVL0/v-deo.html They also have a number of acoustic versions like this one: Sinister Smiles ua-cam.com/video/Xjd41DdRF3c/v-deo.html If you react to them I suggest going in blind, then at the end of the song checkout the band members.
Heck yea The Winking Owl such an underrated yet a great band from Japan. Kindly react to Galneryus - Angel of Salvation please. Another great band from Japan as well ! Cheers!
This one caught me by surprise, loved it 🙂 not sure if you've heard Captives (from Leeds UK), I think you'd really like their song "Signs", be great to see you react to it
I don't know if it's on your list, but Epica's just released a EPIC new song (and a video), it would be awesome to see your reaction to it! Here's the video if you (or anyone else) is interested: ua-cam.com/video/sTbk3SfUq9Q/v-deo.html
If you are going to continue your journey on the Japanese music, I like to suggest the band called Sokoninaru and the song "Gou Ni Moyu (Official Music Video)". I really like to hear your thoughs on their experimental rock style. Great content as always Chase, keep it up!
Hi dude if you're enjoying winking owl check out winnie real cool band from yet again japan especially lightning strikes vid oh and anything from the ultimate Japanese female band scandal !!! keep well dude always enjoy youre breakdowns 😁🤘
There's such a fine line from this to Band Maid, yet this doesn't quite catch me, unlike the other. I always find that fascinating. Still, it's obviously not a bad song. Just not quite my cup of tea. Plugging another recommendation, because why not... Sam Perry - Brighter Moons -> /watch?v=upWjkKQrBGA Using the URL, because the other versions of this have, at least to my ears, slightly less tight editing, making me feel as if it glitches in parts. Also throwing the name The Warning out there. A trio of sisters producing sweet rock.
@@andrewcarter1747 Ya, was poorly worded by me. It's not an instrumental song, just meant that I find the instruments especially interesting in that song. Definitely great singing in that song as well, but I've yet to find a song with Fuki where it's not.
Japan’s making me fall in love with music all over again.

まさかウィンキンでリアクションとは。
"Open Up My Heart" is also a good song. But I am very sorry that they have stopped working.
The video hasn't played yet, and I'm giving this a like already. Japan keeping guitar solos alive.
🎸❤️
I liked this 😊
Yaaaaay. Was hoping you would.

I don't know this band but I like it. This song is very nice to my ears. It remaind me a little bit Band Maid. Great reaction. 🙂
Quickly read that as a Viking Owl & was a bit surprised 🙈 Very pleasantly though, cool band & will certainly look more into their music. Thanks again.
This is definitely taking me back to my early 2000s self.
Super talented, but I've never been much into this particular sound in the rock genre. Good look as always, dude.

Why do I feel like I heard this song before even though I didn't.
Stumbled across a band you might enjoy Chase. Check out “A Tap Dancer’s Dilemma” by Diablo Swing Orchestra. A fun song.
Oooh fun name. I think I'll give them a look.

sadly WINKING OWL disbanded recently. the vocalist quit hating the change of music style (to mainstream JPOP) in the latest album. such a loss 😢
just discover another Japanese band (they are really amazing) Wagakki Band.
dammit.... had last minute company and missed the live feed.... dammit
