Repent and put your trust in Jesus.
We've all sinned and deserve Hell.
Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected, defeating death and sin.
Since we broke the law, Jesus paid our fine. Since he paid it, we can be let go.

Already a blessing to be teached by one if not the best pianist and performer of all time, plus for free 😳
As one can see in this movie clip Liszt did commonly wear a soutane, a priestly cassock, at this state of his life. He had become a devout Catholic later in life and had also recieved the lower clerical ordinations as an Abbé in Rome in 1855. He firmly believed, that his unique talent was a grace and gift by God himself, and since he himself had recieved this gift by God for free, he also considered it an obligation by God to deliver that gift to the next generation for free, and therefore he'd taught numerous pupils in his house in Weimar for free.

To be fair, he only said he should practice more. He didn’t completely destroy him.
Oh really? You are Hungarian, right?
Liszt mainly spoke 'German' because he was born in Raiding Austria in 1811 and grew up speaking the German language. Liszt knew a little Hungarian and from the twelve years he lived in France, he knew a little French. But Liszt mainly spoke 'German'. I have read several books about his life.
And people should place Liszt's life primarily in the era in which he lived. The national borders were completely different then. For example, Bratislava (which was called Pressburg until 1919) was the capital of Hungary because Budapest was under Ottoman rule.
Most people don't realize that even though Liszt grew up under Hungary, Liszt spoke 'German' from childhood and everyone in that region where Liszt grew up as a child also mainly spoke 'German'. He also often wrote to his daughter Cosima in the German language (with Austrian dialect). Liszt also had lessons as a child (under the watchful eye of Beethoven) from Czerny, who lived in Vienna and mainly spoke German. And how else could Liszt communicate with typical Germans such as Richard Wagner, Meyerbeer, Beethoven, Hayden, etc?
But of course Liszt belongs to all of us today.
Thanks for the good information 👍

This clip exposes the fact that, a) no music was being played at all on the film set (music was added later); b) the actor playing Liszt has no clue what music WILL be added later and is meaninglessly waving his hands about without a clue what he is doing; c) music was added later that has no relationship whatsoever to the actor’s hand movements. So distracting.

Could you try to read, there's a great Litzt biographie by Zsolt Harsànyi
@@Methilde The greatest Liszt biography is from Alan Walker, in 3 volumes, almost 700 pages each book in small letters. It's a must ! I purchased the books on Amazon, around 2004. Alan seems to know what Liszt did every day in his life. The fact is that Liszt kept a diary of everything more important on a day by day basis, and he had many pupils who wrote down everything too. 👍💥🙏
Not my opinion, 3 books are not a quality option, quantity never been quality. Anyway i wrote "a great not the greatest", i don't like the rankings

Liszt donnait ses leçons gratuitement en souvenir de Czerny qui lui avait consacré toutes ses soirées pendant deux mois gratuitement alors qu'il avait onze ans (pardon peut-être douze). @@Franz_Liszt_Korean
Yep ! That film showed the young student of Liszt is Chopin. He either took classes from Liszt or as I believe Chopin was showing his skill set to Liszt.
I had a book that I wish that I guarded with my life and kept. In it was a description of Chopin's challenges with other composers, and Liszt was one of them as well as a close friend of Chopin.
I am so sorry now that I do not have that book. I was half way finished to reading it. The book was about 600-700 pages. It was not an easy read as there were old language used. But it was my very favorite book. 😭

I thought that he didn’t speak Hungarian (or very poorly), but here, the actor does.
