- The return of the Random Buys brings a new Craigslist Collection! This one is a bit of an emotional rollercoaster, you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll yell in anger. Well, at least I did :o)

Haha, yeah, I was about to clean up the mix diamond but it was still warped from water damage. Still playable in a sleeve at least!
As a Slivers player, I'm personally offended to see a Harmonic Sliver dumped in with the riffraff pile. D:

You roll the dice. My friend paid for a large collection and pulled a lot of vintage/legacy cards. Sold a few and made his money back and still had a lot for trades. He also drove 3 hours to look at a collection that had a picture of power9 in a binder. The guy wanted $1000. He got there and they were all fake. Took the guy to a local store that told him that they were fake. Ive gone to places that people pull the phone out and start looking up prices of cards. They go on Starcity and are like that 1 card is $45 so Id do $40. I close the binder and walk away.Its a gamble. Ive picked up things that people were leaving magic and paid 1/5 of the cost.
Price has spiked on a couple of those cards since this was originally posted. Notably, academy rector and bloom tender are significantly more expensive than what you priced them as (unless BT was facoring in card quality into pricing). Would be interesting to see how well he made out now. Still, BT made out like a bandit when compared to the price he payed.

Love the choice of music when you confirmed the mox ruby, great sense of humor. New sub. Great pulls by the way, especially considering the price. A lot of those cards brought back many memories.

Being a player from a while back, seeing some of those older cards (Norwood Priestess, Sliver Queen, Mox Diamond) just absolutely beat to crap made me shed a tear. Also, I really hope you burnt that brick of cards which were fused together.

And don't call someone an idiot unless you use proper grammar and spelling. Also, next time watch 5 seconds longer into the video to find out the ruby was just a sticker.

It's amazing when you get a collection like this and find those few cards that make digging through the grime all worth while. Overall, you got a really nice collection here. :)

I saw a bar of Simic Soap in there. I also think I saw a Soothsaying. Seems like even amongst the nonrares there were some decent cards.

Best episode ever! Love watching dumpster diving! When you were at Buffalo Bill's house, did you see any of the value cards in the box or binder to give you a hint that there were at least some money cards in the collection?
+Peter Jacobson Just went off with how old they were, who was selling them, and the hopes that there were some forgotten gems in there. Since I started turning these into videos I haven't been as thorough as I used to be. I like my first time mainly going through the cards to be when I record. That way I can be honestly surprised or disappointed.

What prices are you using on these cards? Because they're definitely not what you can expect to get for them. I get a feeling you just looked at prices for mint-near mint versions of these cards, which I assure you, none of these are.
