4:48 Testing the windshield wipers at 320 kph is actually useful consumer advice. So Kudos to AutoTopNL for pointing this out in the review.
The wipers work effortless at 320 km/h, unlike on some other fast cars.

Great video and awesome car. The way it accelerates is so effortless. The rear camera footage was very cool. Watching the rear wing raise up and then adjust its angle was super cool. Great video, guys!

@@pete23234 Just with the minor difference that the C class doesn´t come with this engine, chassis or as a cabriolets etc. There is much more tho the SL compared to the C class than the Horse Power...
If you sat in both cars you wouldnt say that. A similar design language does not mean its the same quality, materials and equipment. Not at all

It looks like it's about to start flying.
Despite being cabrio, the noticable windnoise is only above 300km/h, they did really good job insulating the cabin... To me SL is ultimate GT, but I kinda don't like cabrio, but the new GT appears to be like "SL with a roof", which is big step closer to my favorite car
I mean they're lovely but the prices are just nuts.

I guess its just the artificial sound that makes is sound like slow trans... when you look closely you can see the car keeps pulling even if these artificial shifting pauses
Raz from Remove Before Race keeps saying how the wet clutch 9 speed from Mercedes is so good and fast shifting and he says it's better than the ZF 8 speed. Somehow I don't believe him. :D

I dont know if it actually is that slow, but the dct on this sounds like it takes forever to change gear (for dct standards of course). As always nice video!
That's MCT actually. It doesn't have a gearbox from the AMG GT.
Thats the sound generator which causes the confusion. You can silently hear the real gearchange in the background, but the sound computer takes his time before enabling the next RPM step. It's a weird system all AMGs have. The gearchange happens instantly - the sound computer takes more time ...

That rumbling exhaust sound is best experienced with a pair of quality readphones :)
