Just a little back story Marcelito was abandoned by his mother and his father was in jail, he lived on the streets from 7yrs old and is self taught,. He sings in different voices, languages and genre's, the next iconic performance he did is "power of love " also on wishbus, con te partiro and we are the champions on America's got talent, despacito, you raise me up, perfect and of course his duet with Morrisette "secret love song" at the wishbus music awards. He will surprise you every time
Marcelito has been singing on the big stage since 2011 . He won the Philippines and got talent in 2011 and came in 4th on America's got talent, the champions edition, i think in 2018? He has a duet album out and has toured the world after covad . My favorite cover from him was from 2011 version of LISTEN by beyonce. He has improved a lot in the past 12 years 👍 Marcelito is a natural talent and never had formal training. You have lots of catching up to do 😂 and many more videos to post.

First time i saw this was on AGT! I was super amazed. This is a better quality made music video tho. And as people say, he sits down, sing ik 2 different languages, and he dont speak italian and kinda bad english , plus he is self taught! LOL He is from the Philippines, not singing in his native tongue - he speaks 7 languages - but in this song singing in English and Italian. I first heard him on America's got Talent Champions. You need to check out those appearances. He can sing in 6 octaves. No, he doesn't always sing a two-part song. He is amazing.

Visited the Philippines twice in the Navy. Musicians there not only played cover songs in all the bars, but, they never leave out parts of songs they like & they mimic everything. Instrument sound up to nailing vocals as if listening to the real band. Boston had just come out. We were in Guam. We put to sea for two weeks & pulled into Oolongapo. A band in a night club not only played "More than a feeling," but, played the entire Boston album song to song as recorded on the album. I heard one band featuring Emerson Lake & Palmer. Another band nailed Ted Nugent. It is in their nature to produce what they hear. There is a video of Marcelito singing "Perfect" in Italian at a wedding. It's fantastic.

At first, I thought this was a production trick. But I asked Filipinos here in my hometown San Francisco 🌉 who saw him in concert if his voice is real. They confirmed that his voice is real! 🤯🤯🤯 MP sings with either voice anytime. He impresses me when he sings in foreign languages such as Spanish 🇪🇸, Italian 🇮🇹.
I was in The Philippines 🇵🇭 last year. Filipinos I talked to enjoy 😉 listening to him, Morissette Amon and other OPM singers.

In 2015 they auditioned for X Factor UK and that video has more than 190 million views on you tube. They have just moved to uSA (los angeles) to try to break into the western music scene. They will leave you speechless. they have many covers and a few original songs on you tube including their latest offering ....distorted...which has more than 200,000 views in 2 weeks .

Marcelito Pomoy had a very hard childhood his parents divorse at his early age and he and his siblings was given to relatives so they can have a better life but he didnt so growing up he did a lot of odd jobs like construction he has no voice training at all and he cant afford it anyways just his meal to survive on one ocassion while he and his co-worker having a drinking session
he was ask to sing and they are all surprised to hear his voice so he was encourage to join some competition as they know he has a chance and also told him that that may be his way to see his parents and siblings he love and missed so much so thats what he did but when he sees that there is a bigger stage and bigger purse "Pilipino Got Talent" he hope that this stage will make way of his wish to re-unite his family and he did as the contest progress he becomes popular and slowly some of his siblings comes out that inspired him to win. After winning the contest and got the big price he re-unite his family but greed came in that it seems impossible to make it happen as his mom and his eldest sister wants a bigger chunk of the price money and still dont want to reconsile with his father. Seeing this he becomes disappointed and in the end focus on building his own family which he did. He is a very down to earth person he does not like limelight thats why you will notice with his talent he seems to be unknown because he seldom go on TV as he loves to be still his normal self with family and new found friend in his neighborhood happy for simple things singing in karoeke near their place that who he is. HE was just convince by his wife to join "America's Got Talent" later to prefer for her daughters future. He was a favorite he aced every performance. But with a twist he was kick out of the finals in favor of a dance group and people are disappointed even the judges except Simon, he gave it a chance as his wife wishes and they are not lucky a lot of conspiracy theories but he accepted it and back to his normal life with ocassional invitation when he has time but for him family first as thats what he missed since chldhood. 😔
