@@ADyess086 Only thing? Arsenal has never put the SFC/ARM12F 12" version into standard, mass-production. You had 200 back in 2004, this batch of 200 (+80 more SBR) in 2024; and finally 200 SAM7C 12" pistols around same time. So under 700 C size in the USA, but absolutely agree with you that they should make this size a normal offering. Just import as a pistol and let the user decide what to do.
I like my 12" SAM7C as well. Before I got it, I would have leaned towards SAM7K. Really love my SAM7 and SAM5SF also. But, something about the SAM7C is just right. Really love/need them all, one doesn't supercede the other. $2,200--it's only money.....
I’ve wanted one of these for a few years now, though I decided to start working on an AMD-65 SBR instead as the overall cost of that project is probably going to be less than what buying one of these is in total. Plus if I got one of these, I’d still have other costs like putting a CNC Warrior brace on it, getting one of those flashlight hand guards, getting one of those 4 piece flash suppressors, maybe changing the top cover to a regular Krink one since I don’t like that rear sight, and maybe a side rail and a red dot. All of that is probably running right under $4k. As a minimum I’d want just the brace and the flashlight hand guard, which would still be roughly around $2,700 in total. I still want one, though I already got the kit for my AMD-65 and I’m probably looking at around $1,700 total including the gun smithing labor and the tax stamp.
I know it's off topic but I heard Arsenal is the cosest to a russian ak you can buy in the states. If someone like me lol wanted to buy the closest clone ak to a russian ak which one should I buy in this day and age. I know back in the day they had close clone but I'm not sure now.
🖤My SAM7K! I have a CNC right side folding stock which allows me to run a RS Regulate AK312M (rear biased) with an T2. This allows perfect co witness with the irons. I also have Combloc Customs Iodine Orange Mlok Dong, and Grip. With the Bulgy 4 piece it sounds like a space weapon. Nobody want to be around you when she’s slinging lead!😂 Running it suppressed with a KNS is my preferred method.
I really like the Midwest alpha folder. It will accept a tailhook for legal braced pistol if you want. It has the Zentico appeal without the unobtanium price tag. Not big on the JMAC stuff, even though they are solid something about the aesthetics I just don't like...
@@Decimus-Meridius go with a flow through suppressor. AKs are overgassed in general, I run a lot of AKs suppressed, but only with flow type suppressors. I don't mess with KNS pistons. Silencerco, huxwrx, Zastava VUK, so many LBP flow type suppressors now, I just don't see need for KNS...
@@Decimus-Meridius no you do not. However AK’s are overgassed which is why they’re so reliable. But that combined with a non flow through suppressor makes for a very gassy, hard recoiling gun. Having the KNS let’s me dial my gas down which makes it a real sweet experience.
I got a bone steel arms brace on mine the brace looks just like the side folder stock on the Sam7sf also wish they would come out with a sam5k here soon
I purchased a new Arsenal SLR-104UR (factory SBR) back when you had to wait one year for the stamp. The folding 100 series stock is comfortable to shoot. With the stamped receiver of my gun vs. milled, I would be interested in the weight differences.
Remember too that parts meant for a .22 caliber are often thinner/lighter compared with those meant for a .30 caliber. So while the milled receiver is the big weight adder, other parts might contribute here and there also. That said, because the SAM7K is well balanced, you don't tend to notice the aded weight as much as you might think. Its not more really compared with the newer Zastava pistols with the 1.5mm receiver and buldged trunnion in fact.
Hey my friend, what muzzle device is correct for my SAM7C? I got 4 piece flash hider on my SAM7K and Arsenals AK-133S on my SAM5SF. Is one or the other "more" correct for SAM7C? Thanks for your passion, knowledge and insight you are one of the best friends i have not yet met. Be well, shoot str8....
Thanks. On my SAM7K I have the Midwest Alpha folder which accepts tailhook to keep it as a braced pistol. There is something I like better about it over the JMAC. Probably because it closely resembles ZENTICO without the unobtanium price tag.
I had a Sam7k-44 but ended up selling it. I just bought a sam7sfk since I really wanted another milled krink. I’m also not a fan of 1913 rails on AKs so when I got the opportunity to buy the sf version I jumped on it. Haven’t decided if I want to clone the ar-m4sf or do a more modern build.
I get that. I ended up with this one because I bought several K-44s during a Labor Day sale a year or two back for a really decent price. So just couldn't turn that down vs paying for the SFK.
Love all your videos. Sorry to go off topic but the knowledge about Arsenal in the comments is vast. Got a slr-107fr with the polymer stock and was wanting to easily swap back and forth with triangle stock? The triangle stock I ordered from kvar doesn’t fit at the hinge. Different size. Just had to send it back. Thank you.
Very nice! I’m very happy with Zastava…for a 1000 ish bucks Zastava imo is the best on the market. My M70 holds its own against my molot vepr . People complain Zastava is heavy but they’ll go get a milled ak 😂 don’t get me wrong Arsenal is nice but is it worth the extra 8-1200 bucks? 🤷♂️ I would say no
@@Grizzlyman420 the weight issue with Zastava's isn't the overall weight. ZPAP and SAM7R weights are the same but the Zastava's thicker barrel puts more weight out front.

Zastava is definitely cheaper and still of very good quality, but flipside is milled AKs tend to retain their value more over the long run. I'd say try and handle both and just see which appeals to you more?

I think the Zastava is a smidge shorter…

Id honestly go with a bonesteel folding brace. I have one on my m92. Best brace I've owned.
Honestly? I went with was free and right there to-hand. Sometimes I'm lazy like that lol.
Top shelf, Guccie, John Wick, Draco vibes!!!!!!

Where there's a hole, there's a way.
Why is the receiver longer than the top cover?
Update on the sam7sf?
