Let's definitely have our boy back on the channel, I loved watching his input..his reaction and how he gave his thoughts on the whole video coming into it open minded...he's a whole positive vibe.
The reason you saw people mosh pit to Inertia at GBB'21 is because up to that point, SMOKE BULLET was many people's introduction to him battling, which was the East Coast to Smoke battle in NY. 3 years later people got to finally hear him on a big stage at a major international event, so at that point the hype was already high.
This 💯 Im just waiting for the day he reacts to it man I can't wait! Mb14 is just a few tiers above the rest, always has been imo. Doesn't need headphones and just pure vocals
This is like an extea competition. Often after all real competitionS. Its a bunch of beatboxers that qualify after short showcase. and the competition ends when someone win against 7 in a row. 🎉
That guy that’s the beatbox “King” or whatever that’s always there has the best face expressions ever hahaha. He needs a compilation of just his facial expressions to people beatboxing😂
A 7 to smoke (or in this case 8 to smoke) is a more casual battle that happens usually the day after big events, this one being after the east coast championships in boston. There's a group of 8 people (I think 9 in this case) in a line and the first two battle each other. The winner gets a point while the loser moves to the back of the line. The winner continues to battle the next person in line until they either lose and get sent to the back or they get 7 points and win the whole thing. It's rare but some people can just win 7 in a row without losing. Colaps did that at GBB; d-low and hiss have done it at smaller events. 7 to smokes are usually pretty casual but the one that happens the day after GBB has way higher stakes cause not only do they have to do an elimination round to to narrow down the field (literally dozens of people want to compete), but also the winner becomes the first person to enter next year's GBB. Off the top of my head past winners were King Inertia (2021, kinda controversial btw), Zekka (2019), Colaps (2018), and Alexinho (he won THREE TIMES). This year's GBB is having their 7 to smoke a few hours from me typing this btw.
Bro, when you talk about uplifting artists.. I discovered Ren through you. I don't know how many other people you reached but his album reached number one in the uk charts today and I sat in my car for an extra fifteen minutes just so I could hear it happen.
One other thought to consider: modern beatboxing really has 2 distinct camps: Technical beatboxing (which ties back to the old shool beatboxing), and more recently there's been a big rise of Melodic beatboxing. Both sides take a tremendous amount of skill, however Technical beatboxing takes a more trained ear to *really* appreciate. This is going to be your King Inertia, Napom, Alem, Alexhino, Vicodah, and so many others. For the newer listener, Melodic beatbox is like a crossover between traditional music and beatboxing. The rise of Melodic beatboxing in the past few years has been instrumental in growing the genre because people can understand some of what they're hearing, and can connect with it easier. This is going to be artists like Den, Gene Shinozaki, River`, Codfish, etc, etc. There are some solid hybrids out there like D-Low and Hiss that genuinely are S-tier in both camps. Of course, there are many more for all of these, but hopefully that helps you with deciding which video you want to go with.
Smoke bullet was the first time I realized how good Inertia could be. Also, for history sake, I believe Inertia is one of the OG's when it comes to bringing Inward bass to the scene. I think it started on Xbox, woth people like Inertia, Vocodah, maybe Markooz? (I'm not as sure woth that last one) but they all would just beatbox in an Xbox party and that's kinda where Inertia came from. I think that's kinda sick lmao
Codfish (Bunnyfluff), Jerqo, Heat, Dub, Jaynkins, and a few others were the ones who started the xbox beatbox parties way before Inertia and Vocodah(Audical) were even known. They're the OG Black Ops 2 beatboxers.
He didn't make an appearance until Codfish did the sponsored Activision video. He's not one of the OG's lol. You can't and won't find a single video of him before #codnation :) @@areons436
I keep saying, gotta get you into the BBU2022 videos. It was an online battle, and each routine is not only insanely good, but well-produced in terms of mixdown (everything still natural beatboxing though), as well as visual presentation. 🙏
Hey man,, make sure to hit me up first week of November about all things beatbox. That’s all I can say right now but WE 😉 hint hint ,, we will get after some of your recommendations fa sho. especially the big ones that will do numbers and I will have someone with more expertise to guide me through it. That’s all I can say publicly lol
I've been on a journey to teach myself how to beatbox like this for over 2 years now. I learned a lot in that time but the youtube tutorials aren't very useful when you're missing any front teeth. I had to find workarounds to sound as dope as I do today. My three missing front teeth basically mean that a lot of more common sounds are either more difficult or it completely disqualifies me from using them. I still have so much to learn about my instrument of choice(AKA my face)! I can't wait, and that's why I went on my journey to find something I can make music with that I don't have to learn another language for(AKA Sheet music(If you can read sheet music, IDK I think it's like having cheat codes that the truly talented don't need and won't ever use...)).
it's really funny how long I've been watching these videos and I just now realized that the podcast name showing behind them on the wall in the beginnings isn't on the wall!😂😂😂
my biggest suggestion would probably be for you to go through the sbx kickback battles 2021 it shows a lot of unique artists that you haven't seen yet. More specifically I would probably say B-art vs D-low sbx kickback battle 2021.
Oh yeah I forgot, there might be something you like since you like Inertia and Vocodah. Check this out: Colorblind (Inertia & Audical) | Butterfly Doors | Shoutout to American Beatbox
i actually got inward bass one of my first times trying it, breath in normally like youre taking a breath with your throat halfway through a swallow motion if it makes you gag youre doing it perfectly
So how the 7 to smoke works .. is everyone battles in a circle. If you lose you hand off the mic and someone else goes until they lose and the first to 7 wins wins it all. Inertia won all 7 in a row. I wish I would have shown the other rounds too. He beat 7 elite level guys and this was several years ago
What ur doing there is not inward bass ur practicing a snort bass If you wanna learn beatboxing dont make the mistake and go after the hardest sounds at the beginning i would say you learn the basics first "B T K T" and if you got that down so that its easy for you maybe go for something like a liproll and then when u can implement everything together then you can try and learn a sound like the inward bass or something Best vocal tech to learn first is the Throat Bass and i recommand learning the inward bass after you learned the throat bass but in the end its for you to decide Note that there are multible kinds of inward basses so have fun getting better if something is hurting you please take pauses and make sure to stay hydrated
Imagine when you cough through your chest, not your throat, just slightly lower than that and it gives that almost rumble sound, Inward bass is being able to shape the back of your throat and that upper chest and inhaling ait powerful enough and controlled enough that you get that same rumble sound, but it resonates much deeper because it's bellowing from the inside rather than the outside.
You could have gotten a pro beatboxed named Kindo on your channel like a month ago but you never responded to his insta DM he sent you. He’d be perfect to bring in studio but your loss I guess
Yo BP just letting you know again you’re not even close to inward unfortunately, what you’re doing is a different technique called snore bass because it sounds like a snore

King Inertia has an insane bass

That was great! Gabriel is so fresh love to see him again!❤️🔥❤️🔥✌🏻🫶🏻
Inertia has a Godzilla type of vibe. People just know they're about to be overpowered
This was a bit older, so his sound definitely developed by GBB21

So he had to actually win 7 battles in a row without loosing it’s crazy
No, just 7 wins before someone else. Not in a row.
@@NkClanGaming close enough 😂
7 wins overall is how you win 7ts, but the vid is called smoke bullet because he managed to win all 7 in a row
@@rehashbeatbox9887 he didn't win all 7 in a row (it was actually 8 for some reason) I think he like twice
He lost to Bloomer
Dang I've never seen King stray from the base. Nice to see some technicality from him
Definitely have my mans back in the studio to introduce him to Vocodah, Napom, D-low, Codfish and all the homies!
it's really funny how long I've been watching these videos and I just now realized that the podcast name showing behind them on the wall in the beginnings isn't on the wall!😂😂😂
Let’s goo bring him back, that’d be wild putting him in front of some battles
You need to react to an old online battle between King Inertia vs Codfish, when codfish called himself Bunnyfluff
bring big dog back for sure super cool vibes

The King's bass is so thick it has melody
The guy that took an opponent's hat was D-Low.
i actually got inward bass one of my first times trying it, breath in normally like youre taking a breath with your throat halfway through a swallow motion if it makes you gag youre doing it perfectly
3 days in and i got dlow inward bass, cj immortal bass and inertias inward, mind you im ass at everything else but i just had to learn inward bass
Y’all gatta watch the fantasy battle, Berryman vs beatbox house, got some funny and epic drops

Bro you gotta watch Intertia vs Vocodah. Two inward bass gods
Im sure 7 to smoke is basically winner stays on so he battled them all one another with no breaks and won
King inertia - Sound unreal compilation next react pls ( is full of base 😵💫)
You should do a reaction to King Inertia 4th place compilation GBB 21
Inertia’s bass is explosive, but the thing I have with his style is that it is not as consistent of other technique heavy beatboxers.
Aw man you shoulda showed him vocodah !!
Codfish one and only😍🥰😘
check out his battle with vocodah
Just a little bit of advice for learning inward bass, try relaxing your throat and breathe in deeper like you're gasping for air
you should check out "BEASTBOY ☠ $UICIDE BOY$ - PARIS [Beatbox]" - well it's looped but it is kind of rap and beatbox colab
What's up everyone
React to dilip seven to smoke battle
This event name is 7 to smoke. You have to win 7 battle in row to win it. You juste Saw inertia destroying everyone ahah
react to more improver or codfish
