The Outlaws (Korean: 범죄도시; lit. Crime City) is a 2017 South Korean crime action film, written and directed by Kang Yoon-sung, starring Ma Dong-seok and Yoon Kye-sang.
Set in 2004, the film revolves around Detective Ma Seok-do, who tries to control the gang-wars between Chinese-Korean gangs while also dealing with a ruthless loan shark named Jang-Chen.

This movie is a real event. In the movie, it appears to cut the waiter's arm, but in reality, he killed the woman who was reporting, not the waiter. He ripped the woman's neck alive with a saw, cut off her arms, legs, chest, intestines, and walked around the hallway with his head, and was filmed on CCTV, carrying the head box outside and drinking soju.According to the detective, it was much more brutal than the movie.

I'm a Japanese person who likes Korean movies. The sequel, The Round Up, is much more interesting than The Outlaws. The Round Up: No Way Out will be screened in Japan in February 2024, so it's a lot of fun.☺️

The actor who played Jang Chen (real name Yoon Kye sang) is one of my all time favorite Korean actors. It’s such a mindfck to see him in roles like this as a ruthless gangster and then to see him in a romcom (which he did a lot of in his early career) and ofc Uncle Ma Dong Seok who flawlessly does action and comedy at the same time.

This movie was INTENSE. The Outlaws (Also called The Round Up) is one of Ma Dong Suk's biggest movie franchises. There is a part 2 and also a part 3 which are both very good as well, if you want to check them out. Also, FYI, guns are banned in Korea, which is why everyone is using knives.

Yo it's crazy how many actors who go on to be legendary are in this film! Especially the little baby rookie cop I didn't even recognize for a while, but he is a major star and often the lead of his own shows

This was unexpected..great reaction..for ma dong-seok there are other movies you can react to : the gangster, the cop, the devil, unstoppable, the villagers, etc..maybe you guys can react to other k-movies: midnight runners (2017) , luck-key (2016), the witch : part 1 - the subversion (2018), veteran (2015), a hard day (2014), forgotten (2017), perfect proposal (2015), unlocked (2023) and many more..
