Back when this was still on Flash, a teacher at school had an application that let him take control of the other computers in the lab. Apparently I wasn’t paying enough attention to the class (even though I had already finished the assignment), so he proceeded to tab into my computer and make my wizard run through every enemy in the godlands until it died.
First PPE after coming back on, I think I was 2/8, and I was playing Dance Dance Revolution with O2 saw two bombs coming my way, and thought “oh I’ll just fork in between them.” They had the perfect AoE splash radius for me to get nailed with both, and I instapopped.
when that early onset dementia hits is so relateable. one time i wasnt paying attention during an old shatters lava walk and i just sat there seeing my archer go down in flames
Juozokas - I remember my first “big” character death when I was like 14 years old. It was on my first archer and I probably only had like 1k fame but that was the most I ever had at the time. When I died I fell back in my chair and hit the ground, knocking the wind out of myself in the process lol
I remember fighting Oryx chicken in 2014. it wasn’t really the saddest death but still makes me laugh. Someone was yelling not to “dblade the chicken”. I assumed for some reason they didn’t want other people to hit SB so i dbladed the chicken and the chicken dbladed back, but harder
My worst death is most definitely my oreo pally (also my first 8/8) that died in Cnidarian Reef, i barely remember what exactly caused the death, but if i had to put my finger on it, it would be the pink cnidarians. Now about your struggles with getting the white star, i must admit i originally thought the grind was still easy to accomplish for vet players, but seems like your video proved me wrong. My best advice to give you is to play casually; don't focus on doing the hardest content and just do dungeons that you'd find fun, it worked in my case. But if you want to get it as fast as possible, cultist hideouts are a great source of fame. Hope this helps. Cheers!
I am right there with you. Getting whtie star is the only thing i am motivated by rn. I've just so happened to do the same 1k per class at a time and am almost at 14k on all! I have been casually working on it off and on since they updated the stars and hopefully will get it at some point this year. Its so frustrating dying on a char for a second and third time when you just to want to bring it back equal with the rest.
Probably the character death I'll remember the most is that I was playing an Assassin PPE a few years back, trying to be one of the handfuls of first exalted assassins (since it's my fav class). I started off insanely well and on my first Leucoryx I got my dream ring for the class (coronation, if you couldn't guess). From that point on I decided to take it seriously and grind out a perfect loadout. I was at like 200 fame farming for Hirejou Tenne at this point, doing the final boss. My brother happened to enter the room at that time, and asked me to take a look at something so I instinctively looked away for, legitimately, half a second, and the boss reset and shot one of its early novas in the middle of the map (I unforunately was disoriented in the map and walked straight onto that spot just a second before it did). I remember after that death I just completely lost all motivation to play for a solid 2 years. It was a mistake that was so avoidable and so below my skill and experience level, while at the same time gutting a perfect start to a ppe. God, I still miss it :( And btw my ign is Dumbtouch
I got to 15k alive fame on my priest right as the star nerf came, I died and did not receive 5 stars to my priest. It still was at 2 or whatever it was. As a compensation i got 20 mystery stat pots and 2 golden lucky clovers from support, like that would replace the insane grind😅
I think my first ever 8/8 hurt the most to lose and I just remember being safe in a corner rushing the bridge of shatters and just getting popped by the ice sphere. I lost my 7/8 archer a month later and quitting the game for a few years and getting back recently and was looking at old ROTMG youtubers to get back in and saw you posted recently as well. So I guess welcome back as well
lost my 8/8 Knight with an Ogmur to an O2 shotgun back in 2019, basically made me quit until this year, hearing about the realm rework made me come back to see what was up, slowly getting back into the swing of things, enjoying exalts.
A buddy and me just picked realm back up 2 weeks ago after a years long hiatus. Fame rework, Unity and everything a new experience. I always disliked meele classes to an extend and made a knight which was only supposed to be a seasonal vault mule char. Died with my "main" Bard at 2k base fame and started to play the knight a bit and planned to kill him off after 1,5k cause I rly needed the fame for my pet progess. At the time he hit 1,5k I really started to enjoy the gameplay, especially because I feel like so few players play knights nowadays and I liked how much I could impact some fights with the stun and the overall tenacity of the class. He continued to rise beyond 6k base fame, which felt pretty good but also held my progession hostage because my vault kept overflowing with feedpower items and I couldn't get any fame. I finally decided to just let him die when the time comes and he took a heroic death at friggin O2 to land the final stun in his "THAT'S ENOUGH" phase (I basically just walked head on into a full shotgun because I edged the stun window while oom and refusing to use a mana pot). Died almost simultaniously as Oryx. Miss u dude. Also pretty cool that you are back, saw u a few times ingame and was exited to see a familiar name after so long :).
Worst death definitely the PPE seasonal mystic who died with t14/conflict/vesture/horn to a single grotto slime who wandered in behind group while I was looking at my other monitor for literally about 2 seconds. Still terrified anytime I look away in halls now.
ho boi, my worst death ever happened in uh 2016 after playing and dreaming of owning an ogmur for uhhhhh 4 years. Loosing one ogmur wouldve been bad enough, but no i got insanely lucky and got a second ogmur within the same month of loosing my first ever, but ended up loosing the second one at 600 ish base fame while rushing an oryx castle… using an ogmur over a colo in that situation truly tells you all that you needed to know anyway good to see you back man! i dont even play anymore, but happy to see more rotmg content
also side note, i too hate assassin with a passion, but my crowning nolife achievement in the years of rotmg also go to it, because i achieved the 15k base fame on it by only opening quest chests
Redstache, my most recent ppe was a ninja and i had finally gotten the balls to challenge o3 with him and successfully destroyed him gaining 2 white bags in the process the ring from beisa and the escutcheon from oryx. Once i reached nexus and vaulted all my new gear i was basking in the glory of improvement when someone popped an interregnum in the australia nexus, of course i go in completely confident i can take on this dungeon after my successful triumph over oryx. I soon learned not to underestimate the wanderer when he chased me into one of his swords on the ground instantly annihilating my ninja in the process without even the chance to process what was happening.
Chesterswe - Pretty recently after I started playing again (after a 3-4 year hiatus) I ran into the Deadwater to escape the crab, completely forgetting that it damages.
My worst death was easily my Summoner PPE, it was the first summoner I had ever created, I made it the moment the servers went live with the classes release and decided "let's do a ppe to really see how this class performs", I exalted 3-4/5 of almost every stat on it. One morning I jumped on barely 15 minutes after waking up, saw an o3 headcount up so figured "easy complete". My Summoner also had at least 1 complete of every single dungeon for the fame bonus, a lot of decas were spent.. It died at 43k base with a total dead fame of just over 200k. All because my brain couldn't function enough to use any health pots in the heat of the moment. I also have footage of this death to remind myself of such a tragic loss. This summoner had nearly 4 days of active time (according to my realmeye statistics of longest active time character), was my prized possession despite all the voids and o3's I did on it never getting any upgrades to my wand past t12. (and of course in standard rotmg fashion my first o3 after that summoner death rewarded me with the t14 wand I was waiting ever so patiently for)
Cerian - Way back when amulets were still a thing, my gameplay had finally progressed enough that I was able to keep a character alive long enough to get one and then they took amulets away and I died. It took a long time to get that far on another character again!
My worst death relates loosely with this video, I was playing my prized character, my Knight with a Escu, Glad Guard, Cranium and a SHINY Divinity, on top of that it was approaching becoming my first class to hit 5 stars with 12800 alive fame. I was mindlessly farming pots to get towards my goal of having an 8/8 of every class, of which I had done 90% of the grind on this knight. While watching streams I entered a WLab (You can already see where this is going). I fight the boss until the third phase, at which point it stops on the other side of the room. Me being half zoned out and half STUPID, I approach carelessly, when all of a sudden twelve 135 armor piercing shots spawn on me BEFORE megamoth dashes, instantly losing my shiny divinity and 12800 alive fame in the process. Dying to the jumping phase is one thing, having the shots spawn on me BEFORE it jumps is another, took me quite a while to get over it lmfao. (IGN Lowkey :p)
Hello o/ I remember the unfortunate death of my Sorcerer, I was wearing Gemstone from the old Shatters (now I am not able to pass them, yet). I was running towards the Alien Invasion, during the run I looked away and I was killed by the "AI Alien UFO Bomb" losing my Sorcerer with +20k fame :x
I like to think of the samurais ability as like a skill check bc you have to get pretty close to an enemy and accurately lead/predict your waki shots (especially with tiered ones) to hit the enemy kinda like a quiver but higher risk in order to kill things faster so that makes it fun for me
Youkirby, I lost a wizard while farming old shatts, because I was having banter with the raid leader, who was a barman, asking for drink suggestions, and I stood on a lava tile on the bridge to the king. Good times
EngineTrap (love ur vids c:) I lost one of my first 4/4 wizards to an ogre bc i was looking at discord in the midlands, still probably my most embarrassing death
This happened around 6 months ago, kensei was sucking the life out of me, got 11 straight deaths to reach 5k fame, then immediately died on my 12th at 6k fame. Never played Kensei since then. 😔 This video gave me motivation to revisit Kensei class.
R.I.P to my white bag themed rogue that was murdered by lagging in a woodlab and then getting sat on by Murderous megamoth, this happened 902 days ago and lag was one of the reasons I stopped playing, returned some days ago, and I'm enjoying the changes! Also, not so much lag. IGN:Rokiew
ign: GodDavide | died on a bard at 6000 fame in a tomb of the ancients hunting for the lute white, got paralized and didn't pot fast enough when a barrage of shots hit me, that dungeon is not worth the risk 😭
JonHalldor - I remember when I collected my first whole st set, it was the warrior set from lair of draconis. I put all the gear on my warrior and was so ready to go kick some ass and I died almost instantly after that in the nest. It was so sad
EffectzzzZ - One of my recent deaths was in a fungal cavern where i died to the last red shotgun when the boss already died and i saw a white bag on screen.
Finally came back after 10 years of playing, got a character to 6/8 slowly and died tragically to lag in the sulfurous wetlands. WAS JUST TRYNA BE NICE CLEARING THE FRONT. - SiongWei
BertieBot - I lost a kitted out bard with 12k base fame to the nest rotation phase while I was half alseep. I dont even care about the loot but this was my first 10k+ fame char and it hurt to lose them when I played with them for so long. Lesson learned to respect even the 'easy' dungeons 😭.
one of my earliest and saddest deaths was with a wizard, i got a tablet (in 2014 it was massive) with my wizard lvl 9, after got it, i get cocky and played mindless, then before lvl 20 (lvl 17) i died in the god lands in the stupidiest way possible, i sat on a djinn
Probably my QoT Archer in 2018 when QoT was Ogmur, Oreo, Jugg level hard to get. Only had it for one day and then the next day, I went into a og shatts, people did a massive drag on bridge and I was behind, I got darkness’d, thought “what the hell? I didn’t see any ic….” *ice sphere sits on me* POP goes the weasel I am in that moment. QoT gone forever 😢
What might have been the most preventable death in the game took my best character, the Lava Walk in the old Shatters. In early 2020 I lost my highest fame character ever, a 10,080 BF Sorcerer (PPE BTW), to this exact thing.
Back in the day I had the admin sword. I was very little, like elementary school. It was the COOLEST THING EVER. My older brother really wanted to give it a try, so I traded it to him. After a day, I ask how the sword is? He says he *died on the beach with the sword.* ... Never recovered from this
Worst death was doing a skull shrine on a kitted unmaxed warrior who had a backpack and was basically vault space and had a whole void archer set and alot other rare stuff and died mindlessly walking into it for no reason :D
My saddest death was a perfect warrior back in the day, i had literally every item one could wish on him and i died because there was a glitch that whenever you tped there was still a tiny frame of time in which you could still take damage. And i tped on top of a garnet statue while it was charging and i just got oneshotm
Died on a archer once, 7/8 to fkn limon in sprite world on a npe. Accidently, somehow stepped ontop the boss and then in the middle when there are shots going from the corners into to center and just watched the death screen in pure self loathing from dying in a such stupid way
PHURlOUS (with an L instead of an i) - I just got my first 8/8, it was a knight and I was super proud of it. I did a couple o3s with it and had no real issues and thought I was in for the long haul. I was tping to fight a Skull Shrine and got instapopped right after immunity wore off. Idk what even got me honestly. I was just there one second and gone the next. And since then I've been avoiding the knight like the plague, lol.
My worst death to date is when after o2 someone called me and for some reason i didnt nexus and was just chilling in the wine cellar while talking on the phone, i come back after the call to a death screen. ig i got dragged on but at least i learned to NEVER feel safe unless im in the nexus or the beach
Rest in peace to my 800 fame TRICKSTER who died in an ancient ruins (yes i know). I got silenced by one of the tower things then got stuck in some quicksand, surrounded by enemies. I sorta panicked and forgot my keybind for nexusing, so I quickly got shotgunned to death. IGN:SirGare
Tadshelton - Died last night on my knight I named him "safe knight in red" as I planed on doing nothing dumb with him every. Started doing the nest for the first time when I got him to 8/8
Instead of a singular death, here's a list of just the 5k+ bf ninjas i died on trying to 5-star it; 13021, 6918, 13958, 9308, 5753. I must've died on a combined 60k+ bf ninjas before finally getting that 5 star xD
Lost my first ever 3/8 to a green potion... I was so proud of that knight, I finally got some progress and then I forgot green potions were a thing and it exploded it on me and instantly killed me. Then I quit for like 3 years lmfao.
One of my recent highest fame characters got popped by standing on one of the recent flowers in a lib. Considering the flowers do next to zero damage I must have copped a hand bomb and every other source of damage. If I had a video of it itd be titled "How much damage can you get in one second of a Cursed Library" IGN:Slypes
I killed a knight by teleporting on my friend at an avatar before tele immunity. It was my first 6/8 and the first time I left the nexus since giving him a pot, I still feel the pain 10 years later.
RexMadBro - I was on my 7/8 sorcerer who I thought I would get really far with and actually get stars on the class, I went into a fungal cavern and got the boss dragged on me, dying to the toxic water because the server was hella laggy at the time and I had spammed nexus for like 3 seconds straight 😭
Back in the day when the mad lab was still newish maybe like 1 year released. I got a oreo from a penteract. Then when playing with my brother, I lost the oreo the same week on a 0/0 paladin in the lab.
I kinda lost motivation in going after the stars after the fame change update, where I went from yellow to blue star, even characters that I had reached thousands of alive base fame were downgraded back to 1 star for some reason.
My first painful death was with my rouge with the full Vampire Rouge ST set being 8/8’d and I unfortunately perished to O2 after getting shotguned after not realizing my cloak ran out NETheCrazy Rouge lives on In my heart
Ummo -Looking back it's funny, but at the time my poor wizard wasn't keen to find out the grey cyborg guys in Madlab could 1 hit an 8/8. Also fuck Samurai
ZeBeDeU (long term fan) I've been playing since 2014, I see how much this game has changed, for me it's impossible to complete 3 since when I started playing again I think I managed to finish 10 at most
my worst death was losing my oreo and crown pally after i got 5 stars i stopped playing pally. after i took break from the game for awhile, i came back, decided to use pally for the new event and got insta killed by some random thing i'd never seen before. then proceeded to not play the game again for a year.

one of my earliest and saddest deaths was with a wizard, i got a tablet (in 2014 it was massive) with my wizard lvl 9, after got it, i get cocky and played mindless, then before lvl 20 (lvl 17) i died in the god lands in the stupidiest way possible, i sat on a djinn
Rest in pieces to my Summoner, my best ever 1800 fame and died in a deadwater docks to CRAB
Picked up my very first ever Jugg, stood up, walked back to a death screen "Killed by ent god"
Back in the day I had the admin sword. I was very little, like elementary school. It was the COOLEST THING EVER. My older brother really wanted to give it a try, so I traded it to him. After a day, I ask how the sword is? He says he *died on the beach with the sword.* ... Never recovered from this
What a video GHZD!
Lost my 83.000 fame on my necro getting dragged on in a kogbold
A 5/8 wizard so sad, hit with confusion when running away from bats turned me into them and I was no more
Exaltations: Am I a joke to you?
Night prince skins: Am I a joke to you?
That one white bag you need: Am I a joke to you?
I dashed into Esben as a Kensei forgetting he had a full shot after killing the monuments. This happened last month.
GHZD video... damn this brings me back
Jedderson - I lost a level 11 pally with an oreo in snake pit back in 2014, good times.
FinnSlayer rip my trickster who died to a golem of fear. Last words were said to be, "Rushing lost halls cant be that hard."
i had a pretty nice wizard ppe going and i for some strange reason decided it would be a cute idea to stand on the spider in fungal caverns

My most embarrassing death was probably losing my conflict mystic to limon, I walked over her as my pet paralysed her, causing here to ep me.
My worst death to date is when after o2 someone called me and for some reason i didnt nexus and was just chilling in the wine cellar while talking on the phone, i come back after the call to a death screen. ig i got dragged on but at least i learned to NEVER feel safe unless im in the nexus or the beach
my worst death is my last hpe, i want to rip my nails off thinking about it
God GHZD ur making a strong comeback to UA-cam
Rest in peace to my 800 fame TRICKSTER who died in an ancient ruins (yes i know). I got silenced by one of the tower things then got stuck in some quicksand, surrounded by enemies. I sorta panicked and forgot my keybind for nexusing, so I quickly got shotgunned to death.
IGN:SirGare
Tadshelton - Died last night on my knight I named him "safe knight in red" as I planed on doing nothing dumb with him every. Started doing the nest for the first time when I got him to 8/8
I will be getting white star for the 4th time tomorrow. grinded for about 400 hours to get it tho. its not too bad if you know what youre doing.
Instead of a singular death, here's a list of just the 5k+ bf ninjas i died on trying to 5-star it; 13021, 6918, 13958, 9308, 5753. I must've died on a combined 60k+ bf ninjas before finally getting that 5 star xD
rest in peace my brothers priest and all the characters that died to mom walking in and being forced to alt tab (Loomanarty)
I lost my first ever conflict the day after I got it by accidentally pressing the sleep button on my PC in a lair of draconis
Nilchief
lost a 13k fame kensei with the tidal st set to a o3 portal during splendor 🎉🎉
Aldenw - back in the good old days I lost my first (and only) oreo and 8/8 paladin sitting on the Forgotten King...safe to say I won't do that again
Lost my first ever 3/8 to a green potion... I was so proud of that knight, I finally got some progress and then I forgot green potions were a thing and it exploded it on me and instantly killed me. Then I quit for like 3 years lmfao.
After 8 years of playing, I sat on a green potion in Mad Lab….yesterday. R.I.P 8/8
One of my recent highest fame characters got popped by standing on one of the recent flowers in a lib. Considering the flowers do next to zero damage I must have copped a hand bomb and every other source of damage. If I had a video of it itd be titled "How much damage can you get in one second of a Cursed Library"
IGN:Slypes
In memory of my Kensei for dying to a random enemy in the carboniferous biome just because I used my ability thinking I had 0 charges left 😔
I lost count of how many times I died with my grinding fame chars for Crystal Cavern boss, sitting on bombs. I simply hate and love this game
720 exaltations: allow us to entroduce ourselves
Tbh I don't think I'll ever grind for exalts (unless I was randomly somehow close to the PvP pet skin!)
Philiy - Had around 6k base fame 8/8 bard UPE and died rushing a sulfurous wetlands by running over a mushroom guy.
You inspired me I will get white star then I will finally unlock the true end game, uninstalling.
lost my ogmur knight to crystal fish spawning on my head
He did die for 32K fame though….
My most traumatic death was when i finally got an ogmur (my most sought over white) and i lost it by getting armor broken in a parasite. The irony :(
Lost my precious trickster with cdirk and crown to a rubberbanding megamoth
I don't play realm that much, so my worse death litteraly was just me walking through lava wondering if I could cross it and survive, I didn't.
My most recent death, huntress with umi bow, mv trap/armor, and slotted UBHP. Looked away for half a second in archmage and sat on a bomb. IGN: Purtin
Ummo -Looking back it's funny, but at the time my poor wizard wasn't keen to find out the grey cyborg guys in Madlab could 1 hit an 8/8.
Also fuck Samurai
the most challenging grind in the entire game is definitely waiting for DECA to implement fun content
A beautiful ninja with 14.8k bf taking a rubberbanding Oryx 3 in the melt phase. I still dont have 15k on ninja...
WillCord
ZeBeDeU (long term fan) I've been playing since 2014, I see how much this game has changed, for me it's impossible to complete 3 since when I started playing again I think I managed to finish 10 at most
Getting crusade dragged while i was farming the last cult for my exalted rank up
my worst death was losing my oreo and crown pally after i got 5 stars i stopped playing pally. after i took break from the game for awhile, i came back, decided to use pally for the new event and got insta killed by some random thing i'd never seen before. then proceeded to not play the game again for a year.
Love the edits!
big fan of your content! Keep up the good work
My 3rd 8/8 of all my life died in ice tomb...yes, those ice tomb
Got my first ep around 11 years ago and obviously I went to ep a LotLL cuz I was super smart and good at realm back then.
Probably my first entropy trickster to some epic larva (SebKnight)
Lost a 6/8 standing in the middle of a UDL when the boss teleported back for the second phase :( GuyKoala
