• milk cotton yarn (5ply)
• 3.5mm crochet hook
• stitch marker
• tapestry needle
• scissors

very easy to follow! note for anyone without a needle, you can slide your crochet hook under the loops and pull through the yarn for the drawstring.

For the written pattern:
make a slip knot
ch13
R1: 2dc in 3rd chain from hook,
make 1dc in the next stitches,
on the last chain make 4dc in the same stitch
flip work, make 1dc in the opposite side, add 2 dc in last stitch, sl st
make 2 chain
R2: make 1dc in each stitch round, sl st
R3: ch2 dc in front post of first dc stitch, dc in next stitch, dc front post in next stitch (repeat til end of round: dc front post, dc, dc front post, dc), sl st
R4: ch2, make 1 dc in each stitch
- Continue R3 and R4 until desired length - fasten off
join in next colour with slip knot, ch1
sc all around
sl st
(hide yarn tails)
ch2
make 1dc in each stitch all around
sl st
fasten off and hide tails
Weave yarn through the 2nd colour sc using needle (do twice for two seperate strings and tie a knot)
Mini flower: (magic ring)
ch2, 1dc, ch2, sl st (repeat for 5 petals)
fasten off and attach to front of pouch
