Listen to the Music Take Me Home Country Roads Blue Ain’t Your Color End of the Road My Church Can’t Stop the Feeling Brother Stand By Me the list goes on and on! #HomeFree never disappoints! Can’t wait to see you react to more!!
New subscriber. Great reaction, too! I love it when people discover Home Free. They are a freakishly talented group of fellas that excel in all music genres. They can make you laugh sometimes, they can make you cry sometimes but they always impress. Here's a cheat sheet on the group: Adam Rupp, co-founder of HF and the awesome beatboxer. Tim Foust, bass. He has a five-octave range. Rob Lundquist (glasses and beard) Tenor Harmony. Austin Brown, Lead Tenor. Adam Chance, Baritone ( goes by Chance). Chance replaced Chris Rupp (co-founder) who left in 2016. Take Me Home Country Roads is phenomenal but you might also want to check out Dreamer, When A Man Loves A Woman, End Of The Road, One Man Band, American Pie featuring Don McLean, I Swear, Blue Ain't Your Color, Dive Bar Saints, The Driver, Crazy and Folsom Prison Blues. For some funny ones: Butts Medley, All About That Bass, Champagne Taste, Hillbilly Bone and Ray Stevens' Mississippi Squirrel Revival. For some serious ones: How Great Thou Art, Go Rest High On That Mountain. When you are familiar with all the boys and their vocal roles, do Mayday. And last but not least, Brothers In Arms. It is haunting and beautiful. They have recently released several new songs that you will want to check out. Unchained Melody, Listen to the Music, Brother and Stargazer Lilies trilogy: Give Me A Sign, Stargazer Lilies and Mr. ...Their latest releases are Might As Well Be Me, Playing With Fire, Remember My Name, Oh, Pretty Woman, Cruise, Stand By Me, Colder Weather and Life is a Highway. To switch it up..try Two Country Singers try singing Opera. Adam Chance just wrote the theme song to Ubisoft's new Pirate themed video game, Skull and Bones and Home Free performs it. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole!
You are right. The first musical sound is imitating the mouth harp. It was done by the guy in the brown vest and orangish hat in the second row. His name is Adam Chance, called Chance because we already had an Adam in the group. Harmonica and drums were done by Adam Rupp, the beatboxer. He does most of the sounds in the videos, but all the guys can beatbox to some extent.
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole, It runs very deep. Every sound you hear comes from their mouths. Adam Rupp the beat boxer is a championship beat boxer. They do different genres from country, Rhythm and blues to rock. They are truly amazing. Please keep checking them out they will continue to blow your mind! Absolutely love your reaction. They do a version of End of The Road by Boyz II Men it is incredible. Love your reaction! ♥
It was ALL them ! They use instruments in a few of their vids but not very often. Suggestion for your next Home Free reaction, how about their version of Hunter Hayes song "I want crazy"?? I think you'll like it.
Sorry, I usually agree with you completely but can't second that. The new version of I Want Crazy is very disappointing, The Hunter Hayes Trilogy, where they first recorded the song, actually captures the urgency of the lyrics.
@@patriciamcl54 I happen to like both. They are quite different, but they were meant to be. People like different things, and some might even like the newer one better. Just sayin'...
Great reaction, welcome to the Home Free rabbite hole. My wife and I have seen them live once 2 years ago and have tickets to see them again this spring. They are just as amazing live. They do have orginal material, not just covers. "Dive Bar Saints" is one of my favorite originals.
Thanks so much for checking out the video, they truly are amazing! Definitely wanting to check out some of their live performances as well, I’ve heard they are killer!
@@setonhillstudios You seem yo enjoy discovering unknown or underknown artists that for whatever reason do not get their just attention. I just watched your 2 Dimash reactions. I'm 66, a music junkie, of all genres. Particulary classic rock, folk, blues, and just finding real artists that have mastered their craft, be it instruments or vocals. Here's a link to one of my favorites, a trio on young ladies with the harmonies of angels. I can pigeonhole them into any one genre, folk - southern rock - rock - blues - ora little of everything. The Rainbow Girls - "Down Home Girl" a cover ua-cam.com/video/de4bBIBrabw/v-deo.htmlsi=afgOYoDpeS-9QkoT [ok, I lied here's one more of theirs - "Yuba" ua-cam.com/video/hE3jApJRmuk/v-deo.htmlsi=xTx_n5FhcRiUi2Bg ] I hope you enjoy listening, whether you react to them or not.
They are unreal! We have a few reactions from them on the channel! Go to our homepage and look under the playlist ‘Groups and Bands.’ Thanks for watching!
Yep, these dudes are greater than a serious trip as they will rock your world with diversity of genres and abilities and their videos make worth it to see their interpretations. Their arrangement of the covers they do rock. Their originals are making waves. Their collaborations with original artists are sensational. They also bring along new artists as well. The depth of their work is worth the review. Get to see them again in concert in about two months and taking it in live performance is even better!! ❣️
It's good to see that there are still people who only now become aware of this group! I mean, just a couple of weeks ago, I discovered them and they have been together for 12 years ... and the guy who takes the lead here has just announced that he's going to leave Home Free before next Christmas. ... Yeah, I feel you, it's a lot to take in!
Home Free is all a cappella. Their beatboxer, Adam, is amazing! He was doing the drums, harmonica and other sounds. Chance, back left, was doing the mouth harp sound. Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range so he can sing super low and also sing high. Rob, glasses, is an amazing tenor and Austin is the high tenor. All super talented men. 3 of the 5 also write music and they sing originals as well. One of the newest is Skull and Bones they wrote for an Ubisoft game. It’s a banger. 😄😃 They are country but sing all genres of music.
New sub here! Great reaction to our guys - welcome to the Home Fries! You can't pick a bad song from their deep, rich catalog. Some of my favorites are How Great Thou Art, Unchained Melody, Butts Remix, My Church, and Quarantine. Looking forward to joining you as you go down the Home Free rabbit hole!! ❤
Adding you to my subscriptions in hopes of more Home Free reactions, they are the best. They do make all the sounds themselves. The beatboxer, Adam Rupp, is known for his 'nomonica' as well as his realistic drums. Tim Foust, the bass, is truely amazing with a 5 octave range. The other guys are just as good, they all have beautiful voices and incredible talent.
They are truly amazing! Some Home Free suggestions; Spiritual: How Great Thou Art. R & B: End of the Road. Romantic: When a Man Loves a Woman 5 Part Harmony (No beat boxing): Brothers in Arms. Motown (sorta): Blue Ain't Your Color. Country: Hillbilly Bone. Funny Medley: Butt's Remix and Country Fried Pop Medley. Christmas: Mary Did You Know. Beat Boxing: Adam Rupp's Drum Solo. Collaboration: American Pie and Elvira. Patriotic: Tavelin Soldier, God Bless the U.S.A, and Land of the Free. Other Great Songs: In the Blood, My Church, Amazed, Blue Ain't Your Color, Folsom Prison Blues, and Fishin’ in the Dark / Down in the Boondocks.
Yes! They are wow! check out more, they do about everything, not just country, awesome covers, and originals too. If you want to hear some harmonies, check out their recent cover of "Stand By Me", it's one of my favorites, but they have been in business for a while so many many videos to choose from over on their channel. Btw, the super deep voice is Tim and he has a rare 5-octave range and can go very low to a tenor range in his vocals, and the bass is strong, he's broke speakers, and at one show I went to he cleaned some plaster from their ceiling.
Yep, all voice. The mouth/jaw harp was done by Chance, the last guy on screen (besides the gator). He sang baritone, so the jaw harp was on a separate track. The drums and nomonica were by Adam Rupp. He sometimes sings tenor and has a really high tenor range, which is especially helpful for certain sound effects such as harmonica. He has a YT video on how he does it. There are a couple in-concert drum solo videos also.
The song was originally published in 1913 and later covered by Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and a host of others. Home Free is acapella - Adam Rupp is an amazing beatboxer! They each also have channel(s) of their own and they are all vocal chameleons. 3 of them are song writers and they sing (and write) in almost every genre. Fall down the rabbit hole!
Thanks for your great reaction. I am a new subscriber because you reacted to Home Free. Their fans (aka Home Fries) are hard core and really support this group. The more Home Free reactions - the more subscribers you will have.
This was filmed in Southern Alabama….cool setting. Their videos are really Amazingly Great ❤️🔥🔥❤️🔥‼️… there are over 300+ …‼️… All genres… So darned Talented 🔥💥🔥‼️. The Bass…Tim Foust…has a 5+ Octave Range… he’s a Beast 🔥❤️🔥🔥‼️
Hello! I'm glad to see that you've found Home Free. It's coming at what is probably going to end up seeming a bit of a weird time, to you, because the high tenor (Austin Brown), will be gone from the group in (I think he said...) mid-June. Austin is (like the group's creator from about 20 years ago--Chris, who is the brother of Adam Rupp, the beatboxer in this video) "moving on." Austin is married now, and his life's goals have changed a bit. 😀 Still...you could spend YEARS listening to the catalog belonging to this group, and you will even find some stuff that included at least one or two of their group before Tim, then Rob, then Austin came along. Plus, whomever they choose for their new high tenor, will (I'm entirely sure) be astounding, as well. I became one of HF's patrons in 2016. I loved their music way back then, still do, and probably always will. - - - - - - - - - - - The "mouth harp" sound is being done by Adam Chance, whom you will mostly have seen leaning against the porch upright, throughout the video. Adam Rupp was playing the "no-monica," and you will-have-been seeing and hearing him do a TON of other pieces of "instrumentation," before you read this. You've also been hearing Rob Lundquist doing the rhythmic cadence from the beginning You should see them LIVE! Seriously! Their concerts are wonderful events, and you will treasure being there, forever! 😀 - - - - - - - - - - Since my screen has been sitting at 1:41, waiting for me to finish this "Hello" comment, after you mentioned the "mouth harp," and the "harmonica," I'll quickly run across the five of them who are on-screen at that number, in case nobody else lets you know who-is-who (though more than probably a TON of "Home Fries" will do the same--grin): Left-to-Right (as if they were in a single row)... Rob Lundquist (from Minnesota) -- Low Tenor) Adam Chance (from Alabama) -- Baritone/Bass (usually just called Chance, to differentiate between him and Adam Rupp) Austin Brown (from Georgia) -- High Tenor (great with operatic and other theatrical music...studied them in college) Adam Rupp (from Minnesota) -- Co-Founder with his brother Chris -- Beatboxer (doesn't sing often, but when he does...he has the longest range of them all) Tim Foust (from Texas) -- Baritone/Bass -- "Basso Profundo" (FLEXIBLE...just wait for a few more reactions...OH MY!!!) (also sings with Peter Hollens at times, as well as solo, and in other sizes of groups of the others here) - - - - - - - - - - I'm also a member of "Vasc Nation," so you probably won't find it too surprising that most of us (from both loyalty groups) think that Dan Vasc and Home Free NEED to sing at least ONE song together! Nobody cares what song it is. We just want to hear them together! 😀 Yup...ALL VOICE... you got it, dude! I look forward to seeing more reactions to Home Free music, past, present, and future. THANK YOU!
Welcome to the rabbit hole. You're about to get tons of suggestions, and all of them are going to be different. That's how you know you've got a great group to work with. My personal suggestion for someone who is new to these guys and wants to learn their names: Their cover of "Workin' For A Livin'", an 80's hit by Huey Lewis and the News. The video introduces them all by name at the beginning. It's also a very different style of song and video; showcasing their talents and personalities. And if you thought Adam's (the beatboxer's) "nomonica" work in this one was amazing, he has an even more awesome riff in that song.
Sub'd because of this HF reaction.....so I'm going to share a cheat sheet that I stole! The group started in 2001 by brothers Chris and Adam Rupp They won The Sing Off season 4 2013 that's where they became very popular. They are the only country A Capella ( all vocals no instruments)group but they are honestly do so so much more than just country music they can sing any genre and they do. There is no Lead singer in the group. They each ( except Adam )sing the song and who’s ever voice or voices sound right for the song gets the lead unless is a bass/ baritone song then that’s Tim or Chance. A lot of time they each have a part in the song. Fans of Home Free are known as Home Fries and are very loyal to the guys. Adam Rupp: Beatboxer Extraordinaire ( 41) can make any sound imaginable (A whole drum kit, harmonica (his Nomonica we call it )plane flyovers, trains, castanets, bugs ,birds etc).Co founder from Mankato Minnesota. Rob Lundquist :Lead tenor(beard and glasses) ( 40 )very soulful voice and master whistler from Minneapolis, Minnesota Tim Foust :Bass (had long dark hair now short with grey ) ( 42 ) 5+ octave range can go so low he blows speakers or sky high from Nederland, Texas Austin Brown: High Tenor ( Long wavy hair )( 37 ) voice of an angel from Tifton Georgia. Adam Chance(Aka Chance):Baritone/Bass ( 39 ) deep, rich voice(Does the juice harp sound in Man Of Constant Sorrow) has short dark hair short beard from Baldwin County, Alabama. Replaced Chris Rupp ( Adams Brother and co founder in 2016) They have collaborated with many singers and legends Don McLean: American Pie Oak Ridge Boys: Elvira Kenny Rodgers: Children Go Where I Send Thee (Please watch the end message) Billy Gilman: One Voice Alabama: Christmas In Dixie Mark Wills: Don’t Laugh At Me ( important message at the end ) Lee Greenwood & US Airforce Band: God Bless The USA Any many more. They have 3 amazing songwriters in the group Tim, Austin and Chance So they have a very large playlist of covers and original songs End of the Road (Boyz 2 Men cover ) When A Loves A Woman Helplessly Hoping (5 part harmony masterpiece ) Unchained Melody Butts Medley/ Remix Listen To The Music Can’t Outrun You Brothers In Arms Stargazer Trilogy( All Originals written by Austin) Give Me A Sign ( Chapter 1) Stargazer Lilies( Chapter 2) MR (Chapter 3) Skull And Bones ( original written by Chance for Ubisoft new video game Skull And Bones) Might As Well Be Me ( Original) Playing With Fire ( Original) Remember My Name (Original) Oh Pretty Woman Life Is A Highway Stand By Me Cruise I Want Crazy Christmas In LA ( Newest Release Mayday(DON’T WATCH TILL YOU ARE VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE GROUP AND THEIR RANGES ) There's not a song that you pick from their 200+ catalog that is bad I haven't found one yet. They are just funny, down to earth, humble really nice guys. They are the best A Cappella group there is IMO Sorry for the long read
To get a better feel for the group first of all take a listen to this: Home Free: Drum Solo [SPM ST15]. And then follow it up with this one: Home Free - 9 to 5 + Beatboxing Breakdown, October 27, 2015. All of the guys are somewhat versed in beatboxing. Great reactions, have a great day!
These guys are all phenomenal. As for their accents, they are entwined in their origins. Adam Rupp (tenor, beat-boxer and other sound effects, and co-founder of the group, along with his brother, Chris) is from Minnesota. Rob Lunquist, beard and overalls (main tenor,--so clear--and whistler extraordinaire), is likewise from Minnesota. Tim Foust (bass with an impressive five octave range) is from southeast Texas. Austin Brown, the one in the very front, is high tenor (check out HF's O Holy Night). Really high! Finally, Adam Chance is the newest member. He has a rich baritone. He is also the one making the "mouth harp." If you watch close, you can just catch him doing it at the very last human shot in the video. I believe they are all songwriters and/or arrangers. Ohhhh, the talent! Enjoy.
Happy you have tried out some music from the guys. They are amazing for sure. Just information on who is who...Left front...Rob Lindquist, Tenor...Austin Brown, High Tenor...Tim Foust, the Bass...(during the pandemic Tim cut his hair. Just fyi) Back left...Adam Chance (goes by Chance), Baritone/Bass...Adam Rupp, Beatboxer, the sounds he can make are something else for sure. Adam Rupp's brother Chris Rupp will be shown at some of the songs also. Chance took his place. He left about 2016, to do other work and is doing well. Maybe you might want to hear...Hillbilly Bone...or...the guys doing...Boyz 2 Men...End Of The Road...amazing. You will hear about more songs from others. Up to you. Thanks
These guys are so talented. They have hundreds of songs in their catalog, both covers and originals. Pick your favorite songs and you wont be disappointed. My fav is Take Me Home Country Roads and Folsom Prison Blues.
If you really want se how versatile they are you should watch their performances on the Sing Off (with judges comments) live TV. Adam is using his voice for the harmonica. Rob (bearded) also beat boxes on occasion.
Home Free is an accapalla group. All musical instruments you hear is coming from Adam Rupp their beat boxer. They all can add musical instruments with their voices. The mouth harp was Adam Chance. You will see him doing it at the end
You have just been introduced to the best a cappella group out there. These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there with a 5 octave range & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound. This song is very old & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney.
Great reaction!!! Subbed for more Home Free. Hope you'll react to more of them!! Super talented group, super funny at times, and just great all the way around. Thanks!
Just subscribed with hopes for more Home Free reactions. They are the best! They do a huge variety of music and each have a very impressive vocal range. They can make you dance, cry and fall out of your seat laughing. They have great personalities and sense of humor and are genuinely good people. The bass, Tim, has a 5+ octave range and Adam, the beatboxer can't be beat though they can all beatbox to some degree. If there are instruments they will make sure you see it. An exception is the video for the song Chance wrote and they perform as an introduction to the Ubisoft video game " Skull and Bones". Hope to see more Home Free reactions
Home Free is my favorite group. Austin's high tenor and Rob's tenor, they sing great. Chance did the mouth harp if I not mistaken. I know I am right. Tim's low bass voice. Adam's beatboxing is great.
Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Home Free. Their fans are called "Home Fries" and I'm sure your channel will grow when they find you doing reactions to the band. If you want to heaar their lighter side listen to "The Butts Remix". They can do any genre and ALL of their covers and originals are amazing. They have NEVER put out anything you won't love to hear!
Best a cappella group out there, I think. They have a lot of country inflected songs, but they pretty much sing everything - country, R&B, pop, rock, sacred - even opera from the 2 tenors. I suggest their recent cover of Stand By Me. For a good look at more stuff that Adam Rupp, the vocal percussionist can do, try their cover of the Doobie Brothers' iconic Listen to the Music - yes, a cappella. Enjoy the ride.
Yeah we covered Geoff doing “Ain’t No Sunshine” and it was amazing! We definitely want to check out more Home Free and Geoff! So much talent out there! Thanks for stopping by the channel!

even the record scratch is made by mouth... Next check out Ring of Fire f. Avi Kaplin of Pentatonix. They just released a new version of Ring of Fire, but I like the Avi version the best.
Welcome to the homefree rabbit whole. And Welcome also to Adam's No-Monica remember all the sounds you hear are done by the beat boxer Adam Rupp if like his beat boxing I suggest you check Adam's drum solo he does in homefree's concert. Also the Jaw Harp you hear in this video is being done by homefree member Adam Chance known to Fans as Chance he is also the groups baritone/bass and the one going crazy deep is done by their deep low bass Tim foust, their high tenor Austin Brown and their lead tenor with the smooth voice is Rob Lundquist They do sometimes use real instruments. You also might want to check out some of there songs they have done live in concert.
Check out The Fairy Voice Mother’s reaction/review of this song. She does a pretty good replication of the mouth harp especially considering it’s her first attempt.
I'm a fairly intelligent guy, but my first time listening to this I kept catching myself trying to look up under Adam's hand to see if he had an harmonica! 😀 You should check out his live drum solo video. The one with him in the red flannel is probably the best. You should also check out Austin Brown and Tim Faust singing "My Maria."
It opens with Mongolian Throat singing and yes, you heard the "nomonica". Every sound here is created by voice. And boy, have you opened yourself a big entrance to the rabbit hole. The man, Tim Foust, with the bass voice has a 5 octave range.
Home Free is a true Acapella vocal group. They have been around for almost 20 years. They won the Acapella show "The Sing Off" in 2013. The harmonica, is the beat box player, probably the best in the Acapella world. He is truely phenomenal. Their bass is Tim Faust, he has a 5 octive range. This is the wrong song for you to have started your travel down the Home Free rabbit hole as it is the best showcase of all the players ranges and their talents. They have over 200 covers or original songs. The mouth harp is the newest addition to the group, Adam Chance.
Welcome to the best a cappella group out there. They identify as a country vocal group but have also done Rock, Soul, Gospel, Inspirational, R & B, Christmas and Comedic/funny songs. They have over 200 songs on You Tube. Home Free has collaborated with many well known artist such as Kenny Rogers, Don McClean, Alabama, Oak Ridge Boys, Rachel Warmmack and Lee Greenwood to name a few. Home Free fans are called Home Fries and are very loyal. Depending on your style preference hear are some recommendations Rock - Listen to the Music by the Doobie Brothers Soul - Love Train by O’Jays. Gospel - How Great Thou Art. Inspirational - Go Rest High On That Mountain by Vince Gill. R & B - End Of The Road by Boyz to Men. Funny - Butts Remix/Medley. Country - Colder Weather and Some Girls do are some of my favorites. Adam Rupp beatboxer and vocal percussionist is world class and is known for his NOMONICA sound of a harmonica. Enjoy your journey with Home Free and you have a blessed day
Best acapella group since forever. No one comes close, except maybe "Pentatonix" at the height of their powers. F*cking fantastic, my only gripe is that their jams are too short. "Brothers in Arms" and "Hopelessy Hoping" really show off their talents, and "Seven Bridges Road" is just FUN.

Adam even did the static...

Thanks so much for the kind worlds and I’m glad you enjoyed it! That’s so wild they can do that! Cannot wait to explore more from them!
It was ALL them ! They use instruments in a few of their vids but not very often. Suggestion for your next Home Free reaction, how about their version of Hunter Hayes song "I want crazy"?? I think you'll like it.
Crazy! Thanks for the suggestion! I will definitely check it out! Appreciate you swinging by the channel!
Sorry, I usually agree with you completely but can't second that. The new version of I Want Crazy is very disappointing, The Hunter Hayes Trilogy, where they first recorded the song, actually captures the urgency of the lyrics.
The Hunter Hayes Medley is the one to check out‼️🤗
@@patriciamcl54 I happen to like both. They are quite different, but they were meant to be. People like different things, and some might even like the newer one better. Just sayin'...
The beat boxer; Adam Rupp, a founding member does what gets called " no-monica" delightfully often .
Such a beast!!! Thanks for stopping by the channel! Excited to hear more from them!
Check out their version of johnny cash's folsom prison blues!

They are unreal! We have a few reactions from them on the channel! Go to our homepage and look under the playlist ‘Groups and Bands.’ Thanks for watching!
They make all kinds of sounds
Mindblowing! Such a talented group! 🤯
I bet being there in person is absolutely crazy! It seems like every thing they touch is gold!
To listen to his harmonica sound solo check out their working for a living. And he has a drum solo that is awesome
That Harmonica sound, All Adam Rupp. And they/he calls it the No-Monica.
Yea so glad I discovered them for sure! Ready to hear more!!!
Thanks so much for subscribing and glad you enjoyed the video! I’m looking forward to hearing more of these guys for sure, thanks for the suggestions!
Thanks so much for subscribing! We will definitely be checking out more of these guys, they’re so crazy talented!

Subbed for more #HomeFree - hope you'll do more!
Dangggg! That’s crazy! 🤣 Straight shaking the building! Thanks for watching!
Oh wow, that is awesome! So talented 🤯
These guys are totally amazing ! Love your reaction ! BTW - Adam Rupp has a video about his 'no-monica' technique.
I’ll have to check that one out, such a cool technique!
Just subbed for more Home Free! They do a little bit of every genre... you can't pick a bad song from them!
Awesome! Thanks for the sub and swinging by! Amazing group for sure! Can’t wait to hear more from them!
More Home Free please!!!! Home Fry for life! 🤠
So cool! These guys are crazy talented for sure!
Love #HomeFree
So good! Thanks for checking out the video ❤️
Thanks for your great reaction. I am a new subscriber because you reacted to Home Free. Their fans (aka Home Fries) are hard core and really support this group. The more Home Free reactions - the more subscribers you will have.

Absolutely amazing! Can’t wait to hear more for sure 🔥
You absolutely must watch their cover of Listen to the Music. Adam Rupp’s vocal percussion is absolute perfection

So cool, thanks for checking out the video and for the info!
I love the fact that chance was wearing Adam’s shirt and I also love Tim’s retro shirt. The song was fantastic as usual ❤
Thanks for watching! Amazing!
just subbed for more home free. welcome to the rabbit hole. #HomeFree #HomeFries
Still...you could spend YEARS listening to the catalog belonging to this group, and you will even find some stuff that included at least one or two of their group before Tim, then Rob, then Austin came along. Plus, whomever they choose for their new high tenor, will (I'm entirely sure) be astounding, as well.
I became one of HF's patrons in 2016. I loved their music way back then, still do, and probably always will.
- - - - - - - - - - -
The "mouth harp" sound is being done by Adam Chance, whom you will mostly have seen leaning against the porch upright, throughout the video. Adam Rupp was playing the "no-monica," and you will-have-been seeing and hearing him do a TON of other pieces of "instrumentation," before you read this. You've also been hearing Rob Lundquist doing the rhythmic cadence from the beginning
You should see them LIVE! Seriously! Their concerts are wonderful events, and you will treasure being there, forever! 😀
- - - - - - - - - -
Since my screen has been sitting at 1:41, waiting for me to finish this "Hello" comment, after you mentioned the "mouth harp," and the "harmonica," I'll quickly run across the five of them who are on-screen at that number, in case nobody else lets you know who-is-who (though more than probably a TON of "Home Fries" will do the same--grin):
Left-to-Right (as if they were in a single row)...
Rob Lundquist (from Minnesota) -- Low Tenor)
Adam Chance (from Alabama) -- Baritone/Bass
(usually just called Chance, to differentiate between him and Adam Rupp)
Austin Brown (from Georgia) -- High Tenor
(great with operatic and other theatrical music...studied them in college)
Adam Rupp (from Minnesota) -- Co-Founder with his brother Chris -- Beatboxer
(doesn't sing often, but when he does...he has the longest range of them all)
Tim Foust (from Texas) -- Baritone/Bass -- "Basso Profundo"
(FLEXIBLE...just wait for a few more reactions...OH MY!!!)
(also sings with Peter Hollens at times, as well as solo, and in other sizes of groups of the others here)
- - - - - - - - - -
I'm also a member of "Vasc Nation," so you probably won't find it too surprising that most of us (from both loyalty groups) think that Dan Vasc and Home Free NEED to sing at least ONE song together! Nobody cares what song it is. We just want to hear them together! 😀
Yup...ALL VOICE... you got it, dude!
Awesome! Thanks so much! I cannot wait to dig into more of their tunes! Absolutely mindblowing! 🤯
Welcome to Home Free!
Thanks! Can’t wait to hear more!
Check out his video. Adam Rupp Drum Solo!!❤
We’ve had quite a few requests for that! Gotta get on it! Thanks! 😃
No worries! Thanks for all the info! Love digging into these artists and learning more! Appreciate it!
Welcome from the Home Fries. You are about to be AMAZED!! Iwould recommend Colder Weather and Sea Shanty Medley LIVE!! Nana Karen UK
Thanks for the suggestions! Really appreciate you stopping by!
Thanks so much! That sounds killer! Appreciate the suggestions!
@@setonhillstudios You won't be disappointed and you're welcome.
It’s him!!!!
Enjoy.
So talented and a joy to listen to!!! Thanks so much for watching and I can’t wait to hear more from them! Appreciate all the info!
My pleasure! @@setonhillstudios
❤🤠#HomeFree. Amazing 😍. Great reaction.🏠🍟
Thanks so much! Amazing group!
Up to you. Thanks
Thanks for all the info and the suggestions! Can’t wait to hear more from them!
Rob Lundquist...
New sub for more Home Free. They won season 4 of The Sing Off.
Thanks so much for checking out the video and subscribing! Definitely will be checking out more of these guys
These guys are so talented. They have hundreds of songs in their catalog, both covers and originals. Pick your favorite songs and you wont be disappointed. My fav is Take Me Home Country Roads and Folsom Prison Blues.
That’s awesome, can’t wait to check out more of these guys!
If you really want se how versatile they are you should watch their performances on the Sing Off (with judges comments) live TV. Adam is using his voice for the harmonica. Rob (bearded) also beat boxes on occasion.
Oh sweet! I bet that’s epic! Thanks for the suggestion!
Austin, singing lead in in this video sings When A Man Loves a Woman, you gotta watch it
Thanks for the suggestion! I bet that is killer! 🔥
Home Free is an accapalla group. All musical instruments you hear is coming from Adam Rupp their beat boxer. They all can add musical instruments with their voices. The mouth harp was Adam Chance. You will see him doing it at the end
That is so cool!
Subbed for more Home Free! They can do a little of every genre. You can't choose a bad song from them, so spin the wheel and throw a dart.
That’s awesome when a group has so much to choose from! I’ll definitely be throwing darts real soon! Thanks for swinging by! 🎯
Guys are so talented! Can’t wait to hear more
Just subscribed for more Home Free. Great reaction, please do more!!
Thanks for the sub, definitely will be checking more of these guys out they’re incredible!

Thanks for watching! Incredible!
Awesome! They are so incredibly talented for sure, can’t wait to hear more!
You're in for a fun ride. Adam Rupp is their beat boxer and he will blow your mind. 😊
Let’s gooo! Can’t wait to discover more!
Ooohhh! I bet that’s sweet! Love the Doobie Brothers! Thanks for sharing!

Two from Minnesota, one from Alabama and one from Texas. Tim, the bass, has a naturally low speaking voice.
Gotcha! Thanks so much for the info!
Don't forget Austin from Georgia!
You missed Georgia.
even the record scratch is made by mouth... Next check out Ring of Fire f. Avi Kaplin of Pentatonix. They just released a new version of Ring of Fire, but I like the Avi version the best.
So cool! It always amazes me how they do that and make those various sounds! Thanks for the suggestions and swinging by the channel!

Home Free is awesome. Another you should check out in the percussion department is Adam Rupp's drum solo
Gotten a lot of suggestions for that one!
Welcome to the homefree rabbit whole. And Welcome also to Adam's No-Monica remember all the sounds you hear are done by the beat boxer Adam Rupp if like his beat boxing I suggest you check Adam's drum solo he does in homefree's concert.
Also the Jaw Harp you hear in this video is being done by homefree member Adam Chance known to Fans as Chance he is also the groups baritone/bass and the one going crazy deep is done by their deep low bass Tim foust, their high tenor Austin Brown and their lead tenor with the smooth voice is Rob Lundquist
They do sometimes use real instruments.
You also might want to check out some of there songs they have done live in concert.
Awesome! Appreciate all the info and thanks for watching!
Yup, these guys have crazy talent 😂
Check out The Fairy Voice Mother’s reaction/review of this song. She does a pretty good replication of the mouth harp especially considering it’s her first attempt.
Oh wow, that sounds cool!
The one who you didnt see much of is baritone adam chance , he was doinf the jar harp sound

Such a cool technique for sure! Can’t wait to hear more of these guys 🔥
It opens with Mongolian Throat singing and yes, you heard the "nomonica". Every sound here is created by voice. And boy, have you opened yourself a big entrance to the rabbit hole. The man, Tim Foust, with the bass voice has a 5 octave range.
🤯 so cool, thanks for all the info! Definitely looking forward to checking out more of these guys
Adam's No-monica and Chance's jaw harp
So cool!
All a capella! That's Adam's "nomonica."
So cool, what a unique and crazy thing!
They sound like this live, too.
So awesome! These guys are crazy talented!
No instruments. Just their voices.
Definitely looking forward to hearing more of these guys for sure! They seem like a deep well of talent
Enjoy your journey with Home Free and you have a blessed day
Thanks so much for checking out the video and for all the info/suggestions! You have a blessed day as well!
They’re so good! Thanks for the suggestions, I can’t wait to check out more!
Tim has a 7+ octave range.
Wow! That is insane!!
