To celebrate, I decided I would share this fun video jam-packed with 10 fun facts about Norway, enjoy! I'll be talking about the Norwegian Russetid (our graduation ceremony) popularized by the tv-series SKAM. I'll basically be sharing a quick intro course to everything you need to know about it. I'll also be teaching you some fun facts such as Norwegian inventions through my segment "Norway through the kitchen", and skit about how we never complain. Enjoy!

Since i watched skam, like 2 years ago, I have an obsession with Norway. I really love norway for the people, mentality and the languages is so beautiful and of course the landscape is amazing!!! My uncle lived in Oslo for quite a while but I just went there one time. I really want to learn the language because I think it sounds so cool and it is a little bit similar to german, my mother language😅☺️🙈
In norway you hav to choose between spanish german and french to learn from 8th grade

Norwegian is a little bit similar to German is because Norwegian is originating from danish and danish is originating from German!
@@mar1f1stad79 på ungdomsskolen der jeg er fra (Høybråten, utkanten av Oslo) kan man også velge Norsk Fordypning, så det er sånn 10 personer som velger å ha ekstra nynorsk!

love Norway been over to Oslow nordmarker twice. hicked hardangerfjord and from Rjukan to Mael, also been to Tromso in winter hicking and camping out in the wild. such a lovely place and Norwigens are amazing so kind and happy to have a chat and share history and stories. 🤗

I like your videos Macerly, very interesting to know about Norway, greetings from the hot and rainy Costa Rica.
I am Argentinian and in Buenos Aires the very first day of school we have a party called "upd"(short for "last first day" in Spanish) then we have a party in a nightclub around 2 months before finishing, and we go to Bariloche in the winter ( some go to Brazil during summer) for a week and there you go out every night too and use the day to go to the mountains or to the city and buy chocolate or just hang out with your friends. The very last day of school they give us our diploma and we dress up all fancy.
I really dream of living in Norway when I graduate from University. I'm at first year of biochemistry so I still got time to learn the language hahaha also OMG BRUNOST I've never seen it around here.

I'm from Spain and I use a cheese slicer!! It's great for some cheeses.
We also have two different words for I love you... it was interesting to hear another language's perspective.
P.S. Who wears the golden overall?
Unfortunately, no one wears gold overalls. However, if you’re a part of the Russeboard (russestyret), you receive another “ID” card which is gold. These people will then have two cards, one in the same colour as their overall and the other in gold.
