This was my first proper convention experience (I went before but I was an idiot and I remember zero things) and I had an actual blast of time. I bought so much stuff to support the artists cuz of the passion they have. Fantastic con, can’t wait to go to my next!

This was last years Megacon, however, I have posted this years one as well. They have so many different events at the NEC running at the same time. We took a walk to get something to eat and passed an exhibition for homes. It seemed a surreal combination of events. I wonder if anyone thought to ask Spider-Man to fit new windows 😂.

It was even better than it looked. There were some great people there. The time and effort put into some of those costumes always amazes me.
I had a fantastic at the con! I was cosplaying as Bendy from Bendy and the Ink Machine! :)

OP thanks for this delightful walk through of the Birmingham Con. It was obvious everyone is having a great time, especially my favorites from original Planet of the Apes @14:00 - wasn't expecting them and they made me laugh. Also I wish I could have gotten a little better look at Mystique (I think) @30:29, she was exciting to look at, and it must have taken her ages to do that cosplay -
Yep they were hilarious. I have no idea where they got the cleaners trolley from. I saw them there again this year.

Were there many anime figurine/key chain or plushie stores? Like Genshin, Jijitsu, One Piece stuff?
To be honest I’m no expert on anime and wouldn’t necessarily recognise the characters you mentioned but most of the cons have plenty of anime merchandise so I would expect you wouldn’t have been disappointed at this one.

Im going to my first con in December and i am cosplay as mono from little nightmares and i am exited and nervous at the same time😂

I was exhibiting at MCM Comic Con this weekend 1-3 Dec '23 in the artists' alley. I heard about Megacon only today, 3rd Dec and now wondering if it's worth a punt? How does it compare to MCM do you know at all??
To be honest they’re both really good and I’d recommend either. Some people seem to prefer MCM, others prefer Megacon. What were you exhibiting? Feel free to put a link in your comments. I was at the Birmingham Con this weekend so probably saw you. Unfortunately the internet connection where I was staying was lousy so I’ve not managed to put up any footage yet. That and I’m absolutely shattered from walking around 😂. We will be at the January Mega Con in London and then the Birmingham one in March so hopefully will see you there.

You got the camera, you are there WHAT WE WANT IS TO SEE EACH EXHIBIT LEFT AND RIGHT what they are selling and not where you going. We don't want to see people's backs and the gang way.

There are some great videos out there that do just that, however, even if I attempted it, I could not do justice to the amount of wonderful stalls there are as Im generally only able to take videos is short bursts and put it all together after the event. I try to give people a glimpse of the event and the chance to see some of the great cosplay.
I am definitely not the stupid hawks dancing around at 7.10
