  • Troubleshooting Files and Apps - Module 11 of the Microsoft MD-100 (Windows Client) Full Course for Beginners. Assorted methods listed and explained to recover files and troubleshoot applications.
    In Module 11 of the course we take a look at the various reasons why we should always backup and then also list various ways that can be used to help prevent file or data loss and also to help recover files and data in the event that you or a user does indeed does end up losing files or data.
    In this module we also take a look at various reasons why some apps might not work, install or launch and how you can go about troubleshooting these specific situations should you ever encounter them.

    Good video with one thing worth mentioning as probably the most underatted and important way to fix application issues -> the cache and apps settings (which are usually stored @ C:\Users\{useraccountname}\AppData\Roaming\{name of the application} but can also be stored in registry or sometimes somewhere where the main application files are installed) clean-up is often enough to fix most application issues.

    Hi BuringIce Tech I checked online and they say a minimum 16GB for a USB bootable back recovery disk. I am thinking 32 to even 64 GB would be better can you advise?

    I just retook the MD-100.
    I once again received a few questions on setting up Hyper-V on Windows 11 as well as making changes to the host that effect the VM.

      I failed my first attempt by 1 question, got a couple questions on Windows Sandbox.

      @@flammensehen I got that question too. This second time I took it I crushed the test. I think this test comes down to question banks.

      @@shawndanyathi147 Hate to say it but these videos and the test question dumps. A lot of the questions are designed only to screw with you if you don't really process every word in them. Don't worry about the time limit you get more than enough time.
