Return to The Jones Fork - Backpacking Desolation Wilderness

Not having the best backpacking season, I manage to get out again for a quickie - back to that wonderful little campsite at the Jones Fork of Silver Creek that I was forced to evacuate from due to mosquitos previously. This time it was a great 2 night stay.

Thanks for this video. I follow you because Desolation has great memories for me as a young Boy Scout who spent summers at either former BSA's Camp Harvey West on Echo Lakes and the Loon Lake Wilderness camp.

Nice video, will you be getting back to D.W. this season? This brings back so many wonderful memories from this area of the Sierras.
