I think that we your audience understand much about life and know that in order to continue receiving the gift of your sounds and images, it's imperative that we not rush or pressure you in any way. I for one don't require a video from you on schedule, so here's hoping you can relax, Christian, knowing that so many of us appreciate these videos and will gratefully enjoy them *whenever* they arrive...
@@ChristianSchaffer ; Gosh: you give us a unique present every time you post a video--- it does not matter when, nor how often. Rarity is more precious.
For those who have loved, are in love, or who’ll someday be in love, there’s, typically, a courtship ritual as the two parties dance their way into romance and a, possible, future together. The same dance that Christian and Timmy might, seemingly, be dancing together, right now. Good for them! Timmy is a good, decent, and kind person. The type of renaissance man that every father would like to see his daughter marrying, someday. She seems to be like minded with him, adventurous, independent, and self reliant. So, too, is Christian a remarkable, adventurous, intelligent, strong, and independent lady that every mother would love to see their son bring home. Karma dictates that the universe returns the same energy that you put into it, whether for good or bad, so it’s nice to see both of them living their best life and, possibly, sharing a future together. How awesome is that? 👏
This video hit so close to home with me. I became 65 years old on the first of November. Throughout my life I spent so much time just trying to survive and living my life for others always worrying about dying that I really never lived. And then suddening one day I woke up and I was an old man who never really got to enjoy my life. I am trying to make up for it now but somethings I know I will never have a chance to do. If I could give one piece of advice it would be live your life. Follow your heart. Be kind to one another and Thank God for everyday he allows you to wake up. God Bless my friends.
Don’t worry. This life was never meant to be our dreams come true. That will be in heaven. You’ve lost nothing if you follow Jesus and get to heaven. 😊
Here's the thing, you're -NOT- a "UA-camr" - influencer... Or any of those cringey titles.. you, dear... Are a CINEMATOGRAPHER... A Photographer, an artist .... Art doesn't happen like people poop daily. Plenty of people post entirely too much... And of poor quality. I love what you create and I'll look forward to you making it on your schedule. ❤
Don't worry about "keeping up" with the UA-cam game!! We are not expecting a video-a-week kind of thing from you. I am exhausted from those content farm-style videos. I have 100+ channels subscribed, but these days, it's hard to find anything to watch. The creativity, the cinematic storytelling, and the wisdom of your words in your video are so up there. Love it very very much!! No other channel has these qualities!!! This kind of creation shouldn't be limited in a time frame. Just create/edit what you want to.
It's getting too cinematic for me, sadly. In the early days, I felt her videos had more substance within them, but these days, it's 5 minutes of drone/video footage, a minute or two of actual dialogue, then another set of drone/video footage. I find myself skipping more than half of the video to get to the "meat and potatoes" - because, if I don't, I feel like I'm simply watching a compiled video showing footage of the wilderness. Of course, this is only one person's opinion and I'm in the minority with these thoughts.
I just discovered your channel after watching Truck House Life. Timmy raved about the quality of your videos and I am very impressed after watching this video. I really enjoy your editing style and soundtrack. It’s ironic that you talked about how much editing gets in the way of just living your life, and I am commenting about how much I enjoyed your editing. Keep living life and enjoying yourself. The 80 year old version of you is cheering for you!!
I watch Timmy’s content religiously and he recommended you so here I am. You have a very artistic eye! Ps- totally diggin you two collaborating together and hope to see more!! 😬🍻
Christian, I just got home from heart surgery, to be blessed with your beautiful video. What a wonderful way to recuperate from this difficult surgery. Your work just brings so much joy to my life! Thank you so much for sharing your work and the beauty you bring to us all. I hopefully will get to meet the artist behind the camera after I get my van built. Much love to you and thank you again
New sub! Love your video! Just found you through Timmy….never a better man, kinder soul, gentler person and patience with understanding. You have a new friend for life!❤
You do you, who cares what other ppl on ytb do. Just live it out and share glimpses of your adventures through your beautiful cinematography at your own pace. You're such a good vibe and inspiration! ✌🏻
I just watched Tim's video and he recommended watching yours. He wasn't wrong. I am subscribing so keep up the travels and videos kid. I am 74 and loving both of your travels. If I wasn't tied up by life I would try your lifestyle. You go girl!
Whatever becomes of this friendship, I hope to see you in Alaska, can't even imagine what the videographer/photographer in you wld capture. Gallery content!
There’s nothing more current, relatable, or trending than following your passions and living the life you want. Doing that, and taking the time to share with us not just the life, but ups and downs, creative dry spells, and the little quirky things along the way is a gift, for which I am ever grateful. Thank you.
There is really no comparison between you and most Tubers. I will take you very well thought out “movies” over daily content any day. Another masterpiece Christian!
I watch your videos because of your talent to compose on screen what you capture through your lens. No matter the frequency or infrequency of uploads. People quit because they don’t enjoy the journey. Comparing oneself will rob you of joy.
What is better than a new Christian video? Timmy being in it. This was a fantastic one! It would be really cool to see a cool Alaskan adventure thru your lense. 😊🌟
Your eye for a photo shot is always so great, I think we are just happy to see your smile and video’s when they come. Don’t put pressure on yourself just be you!
Glad to see you back on the UA-cams! And with Timmy as well! He’s probably one of the most mellowest vloggers out there. Might be a time for an Alaskan adventure!
I treat your videos as a reward and actually think they are more special then youtubers who post weekly or daily. When I see you posted something new, I know it is something I am going to enjoy. The rafting! Hello, now I want to do something like that, The Desert at night with the Moon! Pure envy because now I want to see it. You have an amazing artist way to tell a story and I am so glad you allow me and other to see a glimpse of what you are able to see and do. Thank you!
I've subscribed after watching you with Timmy on truck life. I must say considering you haven't pack rafted before you did exceptionally well. He must be a good teacher. I've never done it before either but I think after hearing him teach you i could. Looking forward to watching more of your videos 👍👌💯💚💛❤️
I know exactly what you mean about recording your life as an artist instead of living it. I now live it and document it as I feel people will be interested in that part of it. I really need to get back to being the artist I am instead of just living and everything I do being artistic in the way I do things. Does that make sense to you?💚💛❤️
OMG Christian your beautiful and creative cinematography never ceases to amaze. Thank you...and remember, enjoy your own moments, we don't need to see every shot, and you don't need to catch them all..live in moments without filming; and the way you film and tell your stories, they are actually quite timeless, so pls don't feel time rushed or pressured. Be you, at your pace. We'll be here, and we enjoy just as much. Thank you for continuing to share your journey, your insights, your growth...at your pace... :)
Your transparency makes you even more relatable, and I’m sure it resonates with others who might be going through the same struggles. Keep going at your own pace, and remember to take care of yourself! 🙌
I just want to say two things; THANKYOU for all your efforts and the beauty you bring into people’s lives, you beautiful soul…. and Live your life for yourself and those you love Christian 🤗 xx
Your editing, your music, your photography, your camera effects, your voice overs, and your thoughts are simply the best. If there is another UA-camr doing it better, I certainly haven’t found them. You are gifted in the area of film it’s plain to see taking a simple video and make it into art. It’s like I am transported to a different place in the course of your, what most people would consider, simple postings. Thank you for your hard work.
I LOVE your videos! They are both exciting and relaxing. I look forward to each one, no matter how long in between. Live your live, seek adventure and joy, and just know that I, for one, am grateful you share them. No matter how long it takes. Thank you and have fun!! ♥♥
There are much more important things in your life then sharing it with us, but I appreciate your videos no matter how often you share these. So enjoy it. And great shots as always!
Wow! Inspiring! Awesome filmmaking!!! You just keep getting better and better! The cinematography, the editing, the storytelling - amazing! And you’re 40?!!! You look like you’re in your twenties! I totally relate to what you say about editing. It’s so true. But you’re so good at it. Thank you for such a wonderful video!
Incredible how you can weave all this pieces of footage into such an intense, emotional and truly beautiful story. And you do that in all your videos. When I watch your videos I feel almost like a withering plant getting fresh water. Everything looks so much better after immersing myself in your world for some minutes. Thank you for that, Christian. Your creativity always amazes me!
I spent more than half my life in those Colorado and Montana mountains. This was the video I needed to see to confirm my choice of hitting the road and living out of my Jeep. The freedom to do everything and yet nothing is just what I'm craving. You do you and share when you feel like it.
Your videos are wonderful and your photography is amazing. Love seeing the world through your eyes. Never miss one of your videos and rewatch past ones over and over. Keep living your life and share what you want. God Bless and pray for good health and safe travels.
I have followed Timmy forever...he is a gem...reminds me of one of my sons...decided to watch your video because of him but subbed because you are the same kind of person...helping an old woman (60) remember the fun that once was! Nice views are so appreciated. Glad to have found you...thanks to Tim!
Such a beautiful video! I really appreciated how the music sync’d with the montage. It looks like you really enjoyed making it! I really enjoyed watching it.
I’m thrilled that you not only got to meet the most humble man in North America, but also got a white water rafting training exercise in, because I think he’s one of the best at that too. He is the most humble personable human. I think I’ve ever seen.
7:38 - I'm right there with you, Christian. The constant feeling of needing to document everything on film can take the fun out of traveling. My Starlink broke on the first day I went out on a month long roadtrip since Sierra passed. I was frustrated because I couldn't upload any content but then realized that a break was needed after caring for Sierra during her ordeal with cancer. Spending a month on the road not worrying about filming was AWESOME! I need to plan more breaks like that or else I'll burn out. Also, didn't realize you were in Salida the same time I was. I just got done hanging out with Tim hitting up Aspen Ridge. Hope our paths cross on the road one day, thanks for another great video!
I’m so sorry about Sierra 🥺💔 Sometimes I swear the universe forces us to take a break every now and then, usually at the worst (but actually best) timing haha. Bummed I missed you in Salida! Hopefully we can link up another time
@@ChristianSchaffer thank you for the kind words regarding Sierra, she was such a special companion. I LOVED being on the road with her, we had such a blast every single day. I miss her more than I could ever express but thankful for the time we spent romping around Colorado back before 4x4 truck camping became popular. BTW I wanted to mention that I sent you a message via IG after seeing one of your videos where you talking about places to rent as a possible home base. I have a friend who owns a small log cabin near Salida on Cottonwood Creek with a hot spring. She's looking to rent it for the winter. It's only $1200 per month, located on the bottom portion of Cottonwood Pass, and the winter access is no issue. My buddy Steve was going to rent it but he had to back out. If you're interested then let me know and I'll put you in touch with Susan who owns the place.
I just have to tell you that the beauty of nature you show is so heart warming and beautiful. You give me so much hope with the images you share. I am almost 70 years old and I just sit here looking at all this beauty and the tears rolling down my face. Life is so amazing and you awaken that within me with your truly wonderful artwork Thank you, so much. I live in Washington and I have spent most of my life outside in the woods Your vision that comes through your film artwork and the ideas you share, really touches me in a deep and profound way. I hope some day you can do a full length movie that the whole world can see ..John
So many of us here because of Timmy..sweet! Beautiful video...especially enjoyed the hot air balloon, reminded me of my experience a few years ago, one of the best and most magical. About schedules, I hate 'em, avoid them and just live your spontaneous life.
Of your friends, he is a good fit. I hope that you continue to post once in a while. I will miss story time with Christian if you dont! You're making good decisions, keep up the good work.
"Art takes time" -- I enjoy watching your videos because the quality of the shots are phenomenal. And I'm more than happy to wait for you, without pressuring you into posting.
This was a wonderfully crafted concerto. Three clear movements (Now, Reflection, Adventure), each with its own theme and motifs, but all fitting together in one life. It does not matter how long you take between posts, you're interesting, you’re real and your video work is so wonderfully engaging. You just keep on being you. BTW, I am 65 and just now realized how much I need to be in a hot air balloon. Thanks for that!
Ahhhh kindred spirit friend! I make UA-cam videos in a similar spirit as you- and you've done it again, you've literally articulated my thoughts and feelings about creating on UA-cam. As a artist, I hate it too. Also so many things you've shared about road life. Seriously if we're ever in the same neck of the woods, it would be amazing to chat about all these things. Glad you're defining things for yourself, that's rad and not an easy thing to do. Cheering you on from afar 🧡
Thanks for the vid Christian. Dunno about others, but I don't need to be fed a vid every Tuesday about the next crazy thing. Partly what I do appreciate from your videos is those bits like your musings about feeling stuck in the same chapter. This makes me think while looking at all this eye candy. It's completely different here, on my side, but in some ways similar. Share whenever you feel like sharing, no pressure, please. Only then it has some value instead being generic content (I despise that word so much). Cheers and take care : ).
Christian, you've become such a pro with editing of your videos! I adore them!! I love to hear to watch and I sometimes feel myself freezing for the whole period of your video till the end, because it's impossible to move while you telling and showing something. I love your life, I love the way you share it with all of us! Thanks for your time! You showed me how the nature and people can be together, this is sooo beautiful!!! With love from dark and sick Russia! Lana
I'm a 60 something, Salt Lake City urbanite. I watch with intrigue and appreciate being lost in your adventures. Keeping up is not important, just letting us know you're okay is sufficient. I smile to think you likely drove near here on your way to somewhere else. Old souls in young bodies make life full. Keep smiling, keep thinking.
I’m often passing through SLC - and have often thought it would be a solid place to base? So much diversity in the surrounding landscapes - access to the Rockies/Tetons/Sawtooths… and an Intl airport. Definitely a contender
This is amazing and inspiring, I’ve been following Tim for a little over a year and I’m so glad you guys linked up. I enjoyed both of your videos and watched them back to back. Thank you for the content I enjoy it 😊
hey Christian Truck House Life sent me over just wanted to say yalls vid down the water was really cool and now me and wife are checking ur vids out. GOD BLESS and praying for all
Another gem! I think the anticipation of when you'll put out another video adds to the pleasure of watching them. I appreciate them more when they're unexpected and it's a happy little surprise to brighten my day. You do you and live life to the fullest!
Thank you for being your incredible self. I always appreciate your sharing your amazing adventures with us and I know I will always feel better after watching them. I truly do! You go places I will never be able to go and I get to experience things I can’t physically do. Keep being you!!!Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!❤
Still loving the chance to see some of the world through your lens, it's always so beautiful the way you share it. Totaly agree that future you will be glad that you put living before editing! 💯%
Thanks for the post. I always look forward to your videos. My advice to you is that you have to be happy and chase your dreams. In the end, that is what matters. You gotta be you!
.@@ChristianSchafferI can see a future Camera/ lens haul to Alaska sometime, you are now a friend with a great guide in Tim. Start shopping for genuine wool clothing and you will be rewarded😊 😂😅. Seriously though, it gets really cold.
Perfect Video....I Try To Never Miss Your Postings.!!! Glad You Had A Good Time With Tim....I Always Watch His Postings Too. Good Person.!!! God Bless....And Thanks.!!!
I can totally relate to these sentiments. I'm only now sharing content on my blog from travelling in March. The more I put pressure on myself, the less I feel inclined to share sadly. I love the views shared here, hope you enjoy travelling! I generally just live in my own way now, I don't find it as fun to record everything on social media as I used to.
I’m always here for the cloud footage! Nice to see you again, I love seeing any kind of video update, it always feels like we ran into each other (not literally) somewhere along the road. That happens here in NZ, I’ve seen one lady in her 70s five times now in four years, been over to her van to visit, even met her son and his wife on the road this year. Such a nice surprise ❤! Any video is a treat 🎉
Beautiful minds create beautiful pictures ❤ live first and tell Your stories later... the Ones worth remembering. Best of luck, Christian and safe travels 🙏😇💕
Nice perspectives and reflection. Looking forward to the additional content from the adventure. Fun seeing the fleeting cameo of Nathaniel Drew fly by - been following him and his parents for a while now. I imagine you all (YT's) take some solace from each other.
Thank you, Christian for once again sharing your heart & taking us on your amazing adventures. You are such a talented storyteller & photographer - tell your stories when they come - they are always so worth the wait! Love & Blessings til next time! 🙏🏻❤️
I’m always getting happy when you post videos like this one. These help to trigger so many memories of days and weeks of exploring remote hideaways far from the madness. Just follow the thinnest lines on the map, and pray you find a turnaround.

Every second of your videos are beautiful. I try to have no distractions when I watch them.
agree every second of her video
geez, ty 🥲🙏🏼 I am so honored
whoa blown away by the editing in this... 24 minutes blinked by. thank you.
Cool you and Timmeh linked up 👍. And as long as you don't dissapear we're good!
Wow!
Thanks Jim! 🙏🏼
Your creativity always amazes me!
wow, thank you 🥹🫶🏼
Long time no see! We missed you! Cant wait to see more of your videos!
More to come 🤓
@ChristianSchaffer yay!
I spent more than half my life in those Colorado and Montana mountains. This was the video I needed to see to confirm my choice of hitting the road and living out of my Jeep. The freedom to do everything and yet nothing is just what I'm craving. You do you and share when you feel like it.
It’s an addicting lifestyle … you’ve been warned 😉
This is so great!!!
Your videos are wonderful and your photography is amazing. Love seeing the world through your eyes. Never miss one of your videos and rewatch past ones over and over. Keep living your life and share what you want. God Bless and pray for good health and safe travels.
I appreciate you 🥹🙏🏼
I have followed Timmy forever...he is a gem...reminds me of one of my sons...decided to watch your video because of him but subbed because you are the same kind of person...helping an old woman (60) remember the fun that once was! Nice views are so appreciated. Glad to have found you...thanks to Tim!
Agreed. It was wonderful seeing the two of them together in a great adventure.
Glad you’re here 😊🫶🏼
@@ChristianSchaffer right back at ya!
Your editing skills are top notch, it is simply amazing and just pulls you into the video.
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Such a beautiful video! I really appreciated how the music sync’d with the montage. It looks like you really enjoyed making it! I really enjoyed watching it.
Music definitely makes the editing process more fun, I couldn’t handle listening to my voice all the time 😂
I’m thrilled that you not only got to meet the most humble man in North America, but also got a white water rafting training exercise in, because I think he’s one of the best at that too. He is the most humble personable human. I think I’ve ever seen.
New subscriber because of seeing you on Timmy’s channel! LOVED seeing y’all enjoy each other’s company. Can’t wait to enjoy your content! ❤
I quit my channel 3 weeks ago. Put so much effort in and got no support. Good to see a great channel continue to make great content x
Yooo I feel you. There’s so much more to it than meets than eye. Lots and lots of backend work 💻
7:38 - I'm right there with you, Christian.
Brian is awesome.
Wow. Truly one of the best compliments, ever. Thank you, John 🥹🙏🏼
You're making good decisions, keep up the good work.
working on a few more videos right meow 🤓
"Art takes time" -- I enjoy watching your videos because the quality of the shots are phenomenal. And I'm more than happy to wait for you, without pressuring you into posting.
I appreciate you 🥲🙏🏼
This was a wonderfully crafted concerto.
Wow, such a cool perspective- hadn’t thought of it in this way. Thanks for sharing ☺️🙏🏼
@@ChristianSchaffer my pleasure entirely.
👋🏽 Yaaa, she’s back!
Girl, you’ve been missed! 🤗 Colorado strong! 💪🏾
such a consummate storyteller... it's always so lovely to see the world through your gigantic moonlit pupils.
forever chasing the mooooon ☺️
Ahhhh kindred spirit friend! I make UA-cam videos in a similar spirit as you- and you've done it again, you've literally articulated my thoughts and feelings about creating on UA-cam. As a artist, I hate it too. Also so many things you've shared about road life. Seriously if we're ever in the same neck of the woods, it would be amazing to chat about all these things. Glad you're defining things for yourself, that's rad and not an easy thing to do. Cheering you on from afar 🧡
Came over from Timmy’s channel, great video
Thanks Judy 🙌🏼
Thanks for the vid Christian. Dunno about others, but I don't need to be fed a vid every Tuesday about the next crazy thing.
Partly what I do appreciate from your videos is those bits like your musings about feeling stuck in the same chapter. This makes me think while looking at all this eye candy. It's completely different here, on my side, but in some ways similar.
Share whenever you feel like sharing, no pressure, please. Only then it has some value instead being generic content (I despise that word so much).
Cheers and take care : ).
I love your videos weather there once a month once every two months, please keep putting them out
Thanks Tom 🙏🏼
You never disappoint! You are greatly loved and appreciated, your talent is awesome we are eternally hooked. I am fer sure God bless you always!
love your moon shots!
If I could give this 5 Hearts I would, wait... ❤❤❤❤❤
haha well, thank ya!
Lana
Thank you Lana 🥹🖤
We need the latest news and schedules after clicking refresh.
But the latest essays and stories can wait until they're ready. 😉
Cant beat those Colorado autumns. Awesomness!
Thank you for the content I enjoy it 😊
Always entertained by your video’s! Thanks for putting in the time and effort to produce these. They are appreciated ❤

Your videos are beautiful! Thank you for being you and inspiring so many! Thank you!❤
Another gem! I think the anticipation of when you'll put out another video adds to the pleasure of watching them. I appreciate them more when they're unexpected and it's a happy little surprise to brighten my day. You do you and live life to the fullest!
Thank you ☺️🙏🏼
Thank you for being your incredible self.

👵🏻🤓
Thanks for the post. I always look forward to your videos. My advice to you is that you have to be happy and chase your dreams. In the end, that is what matters. You gotta be you!
That’s some solid advice 😊🙌🏼
Hello from Tacoma! New subscriber from Timbo. You two collaborate well. Keep up the shutterbug'n, you got a gift.
Stoked you’re here 🤘🏼
.@@ChristianSchafferI can see a future Camera/ lens haul to Alaska sometime, you are now a friend with a great guide in Tim.
Cheers Mike 😊🙌🏼
Thank you for sharing the gifts of your life adventures! Safe Travels and Thank you for sharing so many beautiful places.
Thanks for being here 😊
I can totally relate to these sentiments.
You have a beautiful life ❤. Too old to relive, trying to stay alive. You are amazing ❤❤❤
I bet you have so many beautiful stories as well 🩷
Beautiful minds create beautiful pictures ❤ live first and tell Your stories later... the Ones worth remembering.
He’s such a legend! Was so fun hanging together this summer
Beautifully crafted. Always enjoyable. Thanks for being here.
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thanks Christian its awesome seeing you again i hope all is well with you and thanks for sharing
So happy that you are enjoying life. So glad you found the time to share it with us. Happy adventuring!! 😎
Cheers Noel 😊🙌🏼
Timmy sent me too! You guys seem to have some chemistry. I've been watching him for a few years. Hope to see you two again soon!
Appreciate you ☺️
