Dude you are such a beautiful person. One of the best beatmakers in the LoFi game, and still dropping all of these gems, giving away all of this knowledge. Trust me, by simply making these instructional videos, you are truly bringing a smile on so many people’s faces, helping them get better at the passion of making music. Peace ✌🏻
Hey Pairoz, thanks so much for watching and really appreciate the kind words, really glad it's helping - really motivates me to keep these coming! All the best!
Man, LABS is so great. But videos like these always show me how useful it is to be able to actually play the piano 😅. Beautiful stuff man! And god is your presentation relaxing, i love it haha
Loved this vid, as someone who doesn't play the guitar (at least not very well) it was great to see a vid with just synths and piano, keep up the great work
I discovered labs thank to you few months ago and I use it in a lot of productions, thanks to black friday I also use noire from nativ instrument, but the beginning was really with labs, so thank you again for the tip
Really amazing beat. I enjoy your channel so much, lots of gems dropped as always!! I would love to see a "how to structure a lofi beat" video on your channel, with some structure examples it would be so useful :)
Beautiful! This inspires me a lot to make more beats with labs! I didn't realize how much you can do with this crazy beautiful sounding plugin! I'm looking for a midi keyboard, may I ask you which one was used in this video?
Another quality video fam, pitching down the piano definitely added more character and fullness to the sound. Side question, which soccer/football team do your support?
Ayy dope thanks for watching :) And I've never really been into football tbh, my nearest team is Liverpool so they'd probably be the go to I guess! Hbu, are you based in the UK?
@@MondoLoops I used to watch it a lot as a kid but studies took up most of my time so I stopped. I'm back to into again though, Man Utd all the way😂. I'm based in Cape Town, South Africa
Hi, great vid, with loads of info. 👍 Just wondering though, why pitch down 2semi? Why not write in A#/Bb min? Does it alter the sound somehow? Surely the VST just stretches the samples in-between 'C' octaves when played on different keys anyway? Or is every key sampled and it stretches it when pitched, not played? I'd really like to see a melody, voicing and progression vid. Thanks.
Hey, thanks for watching! With the spitfire and kontakt libraries they always pitch each individual sample rather than adjusting the sample positions - if recommended having a mess with it comparing one played in key to one pitched down to see if you like the effect :) and for sure! I’ll start writing a melody vid soon, all the best!
Ayy thanks man! Honestly been pretty useful doing stuff like this, creatively I find having limitations can actually make the process easier tbh plus you'll find new sounds!
Such a nice video, Thanks!!!! What are the paid options for these kind of VSTs? Is there better libraries for instruments and ambience sounds like these but paid? Tks!!!
Hey bang, paid wise I do love the spitfire originals series (all under 30$ ) they have the cinematic pads and some great pianos, the stuff by felt instruments is super textured and full of character and I know omnisphere is huge in the lofi scene (not got that yet though)
hey brother, appreciate all the content. youve helped me so much. i truly respect you as one of my top fav producers. just wanted to ask what drove you to share you dope knowledge and experience. what is your hope. i honestly want to get to the point where i can produce at least even medicore musix out but as a woman, i cant. any advice from you or any produce whatever gender citizenship and birth, feel free to comment cuz i just need some motivation to keep going with what makes me feel alive from all the BS in this world. well thanks again and God bless you all following his humble quiet will. all the best, joy
If spitfire wasn't free i'd buy it. And the amount of packs is prety big. The only con I have with it is that some sounds really needs eq and saturation. Ho and the interface is a bit confusing sometimes. Anyway, very helpful as usual, thanks !
@@MondoLoops much better than me lol, I can literally only do basic block chords lol. I have tried midi guitar but I still just play typical guitar stuff. Lol. I have a wurlitzer that I could start learning on but it’s kind of loud in an apartment.

I know it's been two years for this video, but this track is fire!
I saved it's link few months when I saw it on insta but realized I'm on fl studio mobile haha , totally in love with that soft piano sound 🥵

Loved how you edited the percussion on this. Very creative pitching down and delaying. Beautiful track as always man!
I love Spitfire Labs! Used it on all my songs. 👌
Loved it bro 🔥👊.Thank you!

Just recently used Spitfire for the guitar in one of my beats. Highly recommend it, quality stuff for sure

Thanks for listening! Appreciate it 🙏
What song is playing in the background during the intro? It sounds beautiful!
Hey man, that track was called "Essence of the forest" By myself and Purrple Cat

Yeah agreed they are often super muddy etc. but as you say can't complain with them being free!
fire. Where can I get this kick?
i use labs with almost every song i write. such a great plugin.
Ayy that's dope, yeah really crazy set of free sounds, have you tried any of the spitfire originals stuff?
@@MondoLoops not just yet - where would you suggest i start?
@@bettaviewbeats I’m loving all their 29usd plugins really, if you need a new piano the felt originals is dope so are the Oliver Patrice stuff
@@MondoLoops fantastic. i'll look into those! great video!
I love this piano, but the only drawback is the broken note velocities
Yeah not ideal tbh but a nice sound sound for a freebie for sure, have you tried their originals pianos?
Thx you for your work =)
Ayy thanks for watching!
just for reff - labs doesnt work with the m1 max currently. installs fine, cant open any thing. its a known issue
Currently running it on M1 Pro, you defo sure it’s not working? I had to reinstall after running spitfire in intel mode
This is awesome! How long have you been making lofi music?
Hey Roman, i've been officially releasing tracks since 2019 but producing for years before that - thanks for checking out the vids!

What Drums kits do you use ?
Hey, I record a lot of sounds and use my own packs most of the time, I also love the ASO stuff on splice and TomCbumpz kits
Please share the download link for it
Dropped it in the description 🙏

Ayy thanks for dropping in man, always appreciated!
Can you give us a list of the instruments used here?
Labs… all labs instruments. He’s says it multiple times.
You should try with new vsts
Ooh ok sweet will do! Like new in the past year or just new to me? Got another video in the works for some more free and new plugins soon too :)
Hey, would it be possible to contact you for a collaboration on something? I'm a professional orchestra musician and I have an idea.
Hey Adam, sure feel free to drop a message over to mondoloops@gmail.com :)
Is the plugin free
Yeah
Yeah!
This video is great. l just wish i played piano. lol. Silly guitar player here who wishes he would've learned piano first.
