Agony (1979) SE1 EP5 - Forever and Never

Jane Lucas, an agony aunt with a call-in radio show, has her own set of troubles with her (very Jewish) mother, and her husband Laurence. Then there's the crazy lives of her station co-workers and the nice gay couple who live upstairs.
When Michael and Rob start having relationship problems they both turn to Jane for comfort and Laurence isn't best pleased.

This was definitely my era. I always watched this from 1979. As soon as I saw the title the Agony song was in my head. 🎶
