While Dimash has got probably a greater % of songs that could be called masterpieces than most singers out there, there are a handful that I myself didn't like. A few years ago his English was terrible and many of the songs I didn't like were English. I didn't like his rendition of Uptown funk or anything by Michael Jackson. But the rest of it...OMG! Masterpieces! And in different ways! So please keep reacting to Dimash, and stay true to your integrity by calling them as you see them. This is a once in a lifetime artist who will revolutionize what people think is possible in singing, mark my words. As such, he will be one of the most studied artists in our lifetime. Please don’t bother yourself on “haters.” Not all singers sing songs we like. Agree. So let them be. Dimash sings good if given the right songs. He’s only human. Not perfect. На его первую реакцию, где ему не понравилось, как Димаш интерпретировал песню Меркьюри, он получил много отзывов, сами догадываетесь - каких. В начале этой реакции он сказал, что каким бы феноменальным не был певец, не все песни у него могут нравиться. Так случилось с ним. В общем, он прав. Но от всех остальных песен он столбенел, терял дар речи, был в восхищении и даже кланялся в конце. Even Dimash wasn't pleased with The Show Must Go On, but since it was a competition, and his mentor wanted him to sing it, he did what he could. There can be a lot of haters on UA-cam, and some of his Dears can be a little (OK a lot) over the top. When he sings songs the way he wants to sing them, they are incredible. Thank for reacting. Yes. This is one of my all time favorites too. For him to run the scale and catapult into the stratosphere on only one breath towards the end there, I couldn't get my jaw off the floor. He is an unbelievable vocal phenomenon. Truly a gift from God.

Sorry if you were bashed by Dears on previous reaction. I am an older Dear who followed Dimash for more than 2 years and have been to 3 live solo concerts. There are several songs and performances I don't care much for or like. I would say that Dimash certainly would concider constructive critiques. He has said you continue to learn your whole life. Some Dears tend to beleive that fandome requires blind worship. Gratefully Dimash is a very intelligent person and is very aware of that he is not everyones cup of tea. Can't wait to see what the future may bring for him since he is only 25 years old. If I could recommend something a bit different but very special it would be his duet Swan Goose with mongolian singer Tengri. I could never have anticipated 2 years ago that I would love a mongolian folksong. For more of his etnic blend there is his version of the Kazak song Samaltau. Everybody has its likes and dislikes....you are one of them....lol...Show must go on was done in 2017 and the Simple passion was sang 2 years later...Dimash progressed from great singer 2 years ago, to out of this world singer of today...what are we going to say about Dimash in next 2 years ?.... I was amazed with all his performances on Singer 2017, including Show must go on....it was vary difficult competition of famous professional singers and Dimash as youngest and with least amount of experience and zero fan base had to give it all ,in order to survive there...he didn't get first place for this song but he managed to go on to the next episode and next ...all the way to the end of the show....and for that I give him "bravo applause.."

I think he did a magnificent job, just learning English, learning the song in a week, in a foreign country to him, learning how to communicate in another language, which is another task he was dealing with. I'm a huge Dimash fan, but I totally agree with your intro. You definitely do not have to live everything someone does. I'd be very suspicious of someone who likes someone without discernment. I'm glad you said that. Dimash changes his arrangements as far as I've been able to see, so far. If you're human, you are bound to like some more than others.
I listened to The Show Must Go ON once and never returned to it again. It had not drawn me like so many of his other songs. Today, I heard him on a video saying he is human just like everyone else. So it is.
AMEN! If you are a fan, you are a fan! Just like with sports, if your team loses one game & you throw them under the bus and don't look back, you were never a fan. Dears are diehard fans, as I am, but that doesn't mean you like every version of a song that your artist does...they are actually only human. And though Dimash is as close to perfection, especially in his craft, does not mean he can't mess up, or have a bad day, or have bad arrangements!! People need to get over it!! Example...Dears always tell people don't look at the episode in I Am Singer, where he did Uptown Funk because they don't feel it showcased him in the best light, or whatever! Heh, I haven't even watched the full video of Dimash performing The Show Must Go On! Some songs are as good as they will ever get in their original form. Some songs are untouchable, even by the best vocalist the world has ever seen. This is one of those songs. Still adore Dimash though. If anything, it shows he is human, because humans are not infallible.

Ahhh.... so, I did pick a good sub. I watched The Show Must Go On only once, and that was enough for me. Like you, I didn't care for it all that much... but, it didn't diminish my enthusiasm for Dimash one lick. Interestingly, he to this day in his concerts still performs songs from his I am Singer days, but that's not one of them. Stay true to your instincts and impressions... because that's what I'm looking for in a reaction. Thanks much for not being in "lock step" with everyone else out there...
I discovered your channel, and subscribed to it because of BTS. Now I just learnt you are also on your way to discover Dimash:-) Sweet. The two have become my most recent musical obsessions - BTS 6 months, Dimash about 2 years. He is out of this world and quite a few professional singers and coaches on YT I have watched reacting to Dimash named him the best living voice, full stop. He is a freak of nature technically but also very mature in his delivery and presentation. There are so many great performances you must watch - Love of tired swans; Know; Ogni Pietra; Unforgettable day; Ms Hyde; Late Autumn; Love is like a dream; Screaming etc. The list is endless. I think you are right.. Songs like "the show must go on" and up down funky"doesn't suit him..I don't say it sounds bad..but his voice and his art of singing is for songs like this..kind of melancholisch that's what he is the best!

Loved your reaction. This is one of my favorite performances by him. As for the nasty comments you have gotten from some Dears...there are some who think he is the second coming. There is no way to please them unless you act/think the way they want you to. Those are few in number but very vocal at times. There are also people who dislike Dimash and pose as Dears to harass anyone who might have a positive reaction to him. Just ignore negative remarks. You had no idea because he keeps getting better. Reactions like this are why you do need to keep reacting to Dimash. I don't love his lighter pop pieces as well as songs like this and "Love Is Like a Dream" or "Olimpico," but understand that he needs to vary them up so he can survive a 2-hour performance and appeal to a broader audience.

Sorry if you were bashed by Dears on previous reaction. I am an older Dear who followed Dimash for more than 2 years and have been to 3 live solo concerts. There are several songs and performances I don't care much for or like. I would say that Dimash certainly would concider constructive critiques. He has said you continue to learn your whole life. Some Dears tend to beleive that fandome requires blind worship. Gratefully Dimash is a very intelligent person and is very aware of that he is not everyones cup of tea. Can't wait to see what the future may bring for him since he is only 25 years old. If I could recommend something a bit different but very special it would be his duet Swan Goose with mongolian singer Tengri. I could never have anticipated 2 years ago that I would love a mongolian folksong. For more of his etnic blend there is his version of the Kazak song Samaltau. Very interesting staging and arrangement. Blessings from Sweden 🇸🇪.
Everybody has its likes and dislikes....you are one of them....lol...Show must go on was done in 2017 and the Simple passion was sang 2 years later...Dimash progressed from great singer 2 years ago, to out of this world singer of today...what are we going to say about Dimash in next 2 years ?.... I was amazed with all his performances on Singer 2017, including Show must go on....it was vary difficult competition of famous professional singers and Dimash as youngest and with least amount of experience and zero fan base had to give it all ,in order to survive there...he didn't get first place for this song but he managed to go on to the next episode and next ...all the way to the end of the show....and for that I give him "bravo applause.."

Dimash is out of this world. I adore him. And I respect your your opinion about SHOW MUST GO ON. We are all different and we all have different feelings. We just have to be pleased that we are witnessing such an extraordinary talent as Dimash. Of course not everything is your cup of tea, but it doesn't take away Dimash's extraordinary abilities. I'm a huge Dimash fan, but I totally agree with your intro. You definitely do not have to live everything someone does. I'd be very suspicious of someone who likes someone without discernment. I'm glad you said that. Dimash changes his arrangements as far as I've been able to see, so far. If you're human, you are bound to like some more than others.

It had not drawn me like so many of his other songs.

AMEN! If you are a fan, you are a fan! Just like with sports, if your team loses one game & you throw them under the bus and don't look back, you were never a fan. Dears are diehard fans, as I am, but that doesn't mean you like every version of a song that your artist does...they are actually only human. And though Dimash is as close to perfection, especially in his craft, does not mean he can't mess up, or have a bad day, or have bad arrangements!! People need to get over it!! Example...Dears always tell people don't look at the episode in I Am Singer, where he did Uptown Funk because they don't feel it showcased him in the best light, or whatever! Personally, though I didn't like the song for him, I enjoyed seeing him have fun!!

Heh, I haven't even watched the full video of Dimash performing The Show Must Go On! Some songs are as good as they will ever get in their original form. Some songs are untouchable, even by the best vocalist the world has ever seen. This is one of those songs. Still adore Dimash though. If anything, it shows he is human, because humans are not infallible.

However it was a singers competition and Dimash was just starting out so he gave that song with his limited knowledge of the English language a go and showed of his vocal abilities

Ahhh.... so, I did pick a good sub. I watched The Show Must Go On only once, and that was enough for me. Like you, I didn't care for it all that much... but, it didn't diminish my enthusiasm for Dimash one lick. Interestingly, he to this day in his concerts still performs songs from his I am Singer days, but that's not one of them. Stay true to your instincts and impressions... because that's what I'm looking for in a reaction. Thanks much for not being in "lock step" with everyone else out there...

The two have become my most recent musical obsessions - BTS 6 months, Dimash about 2 years.
He is out of this world and quite a few professional singers and coaches on YT I have watched reacting to Dimash named him the best living voice, full stop. He is a freak of nature technically but also very mature in his delivery and presentation.
There are so many great performances you must watch - Love of tired swans; Know; Ogni Pietra; Unforgettable day; Ms Hyde; Late Autumn; Love is like a dream; Screaming etc. The list is endless.

I think you are right.. Songs like "the show must go on" and up down funky"doesn't suit him..I don't say it sounds bad..but his voice and his art of singing is for songs like this..kind of melancholisch that's what he is the best!

Loved your reaction. This is one of my favorite performances by him. As for the nasty comments you have gotten from some Dears...there are some who think he is the second coming. There is no way to please them unless you act/think the way they want you to. Those are few in number but very vocal at times. There are also people who dislike Dimash and pose as Dears to harass anyone who might have a positive reaction to him. Just ignore negative remarks. As much as I love the man, I traveled to NYC to see him, there are songs/performances I don't care for. If you think this was amazing check out Love is Like a Dream.
You had no idea because he keeps getting better. Reactions like this are why you do need to keep reacting to Dimash. I don't love his lighter pop pieces as well as songs like this and "Love Is Like a Dream" or "Olimpico," but understand that he needs to vary them up so he can survive a 2-hour performance and appeal to a broader audience.
