Danke! Ich habe ein Album von RCA Victor und der Goldman-Band und Edwin Franko Goldman, mit "On the Mall" und andere Werke. Sein Jahr ist um 1940. Sehr lustig.
Gramophoniker Nein, diese Platte ist definitiv anders. Die Mitte der Aufnahme ist anders als meine. Und bitte, vergib mir meine junge College-Deutsch :)
Allen Murray Here they are: On a peaceful summer evening when the sun has set And the cares of the day linger yet, Don't be sad and don't be tired, there's a place to go Where there's rest brought by sweet music's flow.'Neath the trees with shadows dark, The starry sky above, There is calm, there is peace, there is love. There's forgetting care and trouble, All may claim a share Of joy, hope, and courage rare

The definitive rendition of this march was by Arthur Pryor's Band, recorded 10/15/26 on Victor 20559.
My mom used to sing words to this but I don't remember what they were.
Dear Allen Murray, unfortunately, I do not know the text. But it would be interesting to know the text.
