  • In this episode I am teaching my boys how to make a primitive waterproof survival shelter with no tools. We made this bug out shelter in just 1 day and it can be done by almost anyone.
Information like this is priceless and can save your life one day if you end up in a survival situation. Bushcraft knowledge is some of the most important information you can learn, so I’m passing on my knowledge to my boys and all of you watching this.

No no so they are not your minions, they are actually your offspring. Still, they are adorable young fellows. Great post and project. Thank you for sharing. God Bless.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I am working on a book, and I have been researching different shelters, trying to decide what I’ll do in my characters village. If the debris were replaced regularly and the sticks were replaced when needed to insure a stable shelter, do you think this could work as a permanent home? (I thought I’m might add that these characters are not human, they are wild felines.)

For sure. Why not. You could clay the walls to make it last longer too.

So if you're going to call it a waterproof shelter shouldn't there be a rainstorm involved to prove it because I don't believe this shelter to be waterproof at all
