Being someone who has a very large forearm/wrist tattoo, in my experience, I'd say the outline hurts more than the shading. By the time we got to shading, I just got used to it. I'm not gonna try to sound tough, I cried when they outlined my wrist.
@@6ixthSense_God, why are you belligerent ldiots infiltrating underdogs videos. Don't you have an Adin Ross or Kai Cenat stream to waste your life rotting your brain to, kid?
23:40 What Poppt might be referring to here is Doggerland, a sunken piece of land that used to connect Britain to Mainland Europe. Throughout the last decade or so, archaeologists have found man-made tools, pottery, and even instruments in the area. While Atlantis doesn't exist (and if it did it would NOT be in the Bermuda Triangle, it'd probably be in the Mediterranean), Doggerland does, and that alone is pretty cool imo
@@beastabuelos6421 Atlantis originated as a thought experiment from Socrates in order to teach his students the natural impurity of mankind. Socrates would often claim that the myth originated from the Egyptians, even though that wasn't the case. With that info, I find it much easier to believe it was somewhere within the Mediterranean, but it really could've been anywhere.
@jushi5262 hmm, i guess it would be interesting if he'd actually wrote a story about it. I didn't know this was the origin though. That now interests me much more than the hypothetical location
Just to extend on Jackson's thoughts around the 15 minute mark: I've learned that the body also starts shutting down and rejecting food and water when near death. Sometimes in certain situations it is required to withhold those resources. I've also heard of animals that can sense when someone's time is soon.
My tattoo artist agrees with you, Peter. She is inked on her whole body but only cried while being tattooed on the same spot as you. Hope you're taking good care of that wonderful tattoo!
scuba diving is GREAT and way easier/less scary than you think. I've only been a few times but it's honestly really relaxing and quite easy to get the hang of
As a current resident of Bermuda Zach’s Bermuda Triangle conspiracy is funny to me and that it’s still so famous some people believe in it. Ships and planes did used to disappear a lot which is true but like Peter said not so much anymore. I think the leading theory is that is it a rough area of ocean due to lots of storms and shit so old ships and other stuff couldn’t handle it and a phenomenon called rogue waves may also be to blame. As to planes there have been theories that strange electromagnetic signals in the area used to throw off a lot of plane’s equipment which would cause them to get lost. But like I said as a resident of the island for 23 years I haven’t heard of anyone going missing and I have gone through it many times lmao
Did a project on the bermuda triangle and it is a spot where compasses go wacky, tends to have a ton of storms, and something about methane bubbles that I forget. It is also traveled highly, so it tends to have more missing ships back in the day rather than a higher percentage of missing ships. Nowadays with better tech it doesn't really have missing ships
The good thing about the Loch Ness Monster is that there's a marine biologist who gets tons of funding to ostensibly look for the monster, but actually uses it to do proper studies of the lake, making it the best understood inland body of water in the world. It's brilliant, because he's fleecing conspiracy and clickbait people to do a lot of good research by always teasing the potential of the monster being real to continue getting funds for "searches".
Jordan and Jackson’s story was scarier because the conclusion is scarier: Lost watch, aging mother, all your toes broken alone in the woods surrounded by chimpanzees
Hey, so Atlantis was referenced by Pluto and his writings so we know it existed. We think it’s off the coast of Africa, because of how the sand dunes look like they been affected by waves.
"Oh no? A person that has a different artistic opinion to me? How cringe and dumb, they know nothing about music" -suburban child that's never paid their own bills before.
It might be a bad idea, but I think it would be fun to have a podcast episode with a live audience. (I know patreon exists, but I am talking about in person, like a stand up comedy).
Shading does really hurt with tattoo's cause they have to keep going over the same area. I have a tattoo about the same size as Hopcat's (my first and only tattoo) on my forearm and it has a large flower (which is about half the design) as part of it that has a bunch of shades on it and it hurt like buggery getting done. The next day the tattoo felt physically hot with how sore it was, but by the day after it felt fine (other than still being a little tender).
Anyone else got this problem? I find a funny meme in friendgroup b context. When i think about what chat to post it in I realize wait that wasn’t my irl friends, it was with the underdogs
yeah Zach you really should've leaned more into you being a big youtuber for the Shrek house thing. idk why you went with the "biggest fan" route when all youve done is dress up as them for Halloween a few times in your 20 something years. Not surprised at all that Ryan Trahan got it. I wonder why. Stuff like this, you cheating on the "name all US states" vid, not committing at ALL to the Underdogs workout improvement vid (really lame that you did that btw), not practicing more for the rollerblading vid since you had to rewrite a new narrative about how losing the race wasn't actually that bad....etc. Stuff like this means you're not allowed to say you full send for content. It's very "mile wide, 2 inch deep lake" for your content. Flashy ideas...popping thumbnails....good production yes all very good on the surface but the actual content itself just shows someone who isn't committing to the planned video idea. So, sloppy. I think this is why youre not popping off more in views.
I'm so sad the scary stories segment will only be once per year. Laughed so hard at Poppt's storytelling skills 😂
"If you beat Jordan's Lucina you unlock the Ness monster." - that was gold.
I’m just realizing the chemistry between Jordan and Jackson is somthin special
They are a canon couple
THEY UPLOADED ON THE CORRECT DATE LETS GOOOOOOO
It was super spooky when everything went dark right near the end😱

Honestly the lighting in this episode is way more chill, feel it fits the vibe of the podcast better.
Today I dressed up as an audio listener for Halloween.

Why would it be in the Mediterranean? Why not the middle of the Atlantic Ocean?

15:50 man I'd love to see an underdogs theology type thing where they talk to someone who's actually well versed in multiple religions

Now I have to watch next weeks podcast, the teaser worked on me
Love the new tattoo Hop, I’m rooting for you to convince the rest of the underdogs
Jordans stand-up was fantastic
I love how every comment is about Peter's tattoo bc He's the only one that reads the comments 😂
