If he only splits as to what he needs per 2 days vs a months worth of wood with this thing it be worth it. But don't expect to split 5 core's of wood in a day because your wrist would sieze up and fall off. Unless some other method of pumping the Jack is figured. Great craftsmanship though..

Tom Reagan thank you for your comments. The cost of making this project was really low, around 30 euros. The earnings from this video are (until now) more than 15 times the amount that it cost me to create it. So far not bad at all. However, I agree with you it is a little slow, I am planning to replace the manual bottle jack with an automatic (electric) one which will save me time and effort. Stay tuned for the modification video!
Rust is Gold Oh - I get it. The feasibility of the device isn't the goal, it is internet revenue. Ok - now I get it. Post the electric version when you can.
Tom Reagan sorry but you are wrong once again... On your initial negative comment you wrote about me spending a whole lot of work and money for a dumb idea. When I informed you that not only the splitter didn't cost me a penny but I have also made money out of it you came back with a new ironic comment about the feasibility of the device not being the goal but instead the internet revenue. Sorry to inform you but your new comment is a complete nonsense, the device is 100% functional. However, I agreed from the beginning that an electric version would be much faster. Finally, I looked at your account in order to check some of your own creations so I could improve my "dumb" ideas but I found none, just some re-uploads.... Don't you think it would be a great idea to leave your keyboard for a while and start creating something, anything, a wooden box for example. Maybe then you'll realize how difficult it is to create something and the same time how easy it is to criticize... I will let you know when I post the electric version. Have a good day Sir...

Thank you very much for your comments!! I totally agree with you I need to replace the manual jack with an air jack. Initially I tried to keep the cost low however the manual jack is too slow... It's true the metal structure is bombproof!! Take care!! 😄👍👍👍
Good job !
Thank you very much! 😊👍
should be great with electric ! thanks
Hopefully I'll have it ready before next winter 😊
A great bit of equipment & well made, the only thing I would have done is mounted it higher on the wall so as I wouldn't have to squat while I was using it. Thank you for posting.
Malc Tulloch thank you very much for your comments!!!
You're absolutely right, I need to place it higher on the wall.
Thanks again!
That would take forever to split logs
I need to upgrade it...
@@RustisGold YES I' am going to make a car spring arm splitter Happy Holidays
Happy Holidays! 😊👍
@@426superbee4 cool !!! 😊👍👍
Cool love to see it > Merry Christmas buddy
Tremendo trabajo, te felicito saludos de chile
¡¡Muchas gracias por tus comentarios!! ¡Saludos desde Grecia! 🇬🇷😊👍
I love to make shit, so I see it from that point of view, also If I made one like this I "wood" use it in far away cabinets, remote place, etc. But for where I live not practical at all when I burn up to 6 to 7 cords of wood during the winter. Nice job..
Thank you very much for your comments!
Thanks on video So now I can finish building mine to split 15" round 19" tall I'll just make deeper inset for throat on slide in of the wood round
😊👍
Too much work to pump it so many times for 1 log
I need to spend some time and replace the manual jack with a motorized mechanism... I always get involved in new projects and forget the log splitter!
Great Job!
Martin Elam thank you very much!!!
HELL YEAH 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🥇

A whole lot of work and money for a dumb idea. The splitter is so slow that you can do it by hand in 10% of the time. No joke.

How many tons of force can the electric version produce. Thanks for the video.
you are amazing thank you so much
Thank you very much! Glad you liked it! 😊👍
Thank you só much for tour project and this tutorial!👆 👏👏👏👍
Michel Ferreira das Neves thank you very much for your comments!!!

Rust is Gold ,
